Every card in the game is fair game, except god cards and legendary dragons(not to be confused with signer dragons, those are fair game too). We´re using the normal banlist, plus just a general understanding that more importantly than building a strong deck is building a deck that will work well in the RP.

I would recommend you look at the decks on the case by case basis to prevent obnoxiously long combos.

Where there's life, there's hope.Yeah, I´m still learning how to run things, so bear with me! I do have a couple of pointers and such. The main one being that I can´t really see how your deck can go into your stardust monsters, as even a level 8 is not something I feel that you can reliably go into. But I will admit that I´m not the most well versed when it comes to the deck you´re running, so my apologizes if I´m out of my depth!
Also, I think for this game I´m gonna use the official banlist, so blossom would be at 1.
Actually my apologies, I think I´ve underestimated your deck a bit. That being said, I will tell you to cut a bit back on the boss monsters, as I think you have a bit too many.
Oh wow, we are playing the OCG banlist. This means Bulb would be banned.
I removed 1 Bulb, 2 Lonefire, 1 Crystal Wing, and 1 Sifr.
Added 2 Brilliant Fusion, 2 Harpie's Feather Duster, and 1 Starlight Road.
What do you think is a better draw card? Pot of Avarice or Pot of Desires?
As for how my monster can summon Stardust monsters.
For Stardust Warrior I use Reborn Tengu + 2 Lv. 1 Tuners.
For Stardust Charge Warrior I use Seraphinite + Lv. 1 Tuner.
For Stardust Dragon I use Spore's ability.

Where there's life, there's hope.I see! Feather duster and brilliant fusion are both limited. Also, I feel lkke ghost sisters might slow the game down too much, especially 3.
Also, avarice is forbidden, so you can only use the other one
I'm pretty sure that Avarice and Brilliant Fusion are unlimited.
Removed 3 Ghost Sister and 1 HFD
Added Child's Play.

Where there's life, there's hope. It's unlimited on the OCG, which is like the Yu-Gi-Oh variant played in Asia and such. In TCG which is the version of the game published by konami, it's limited according to the wikia.
I am confused. Are we playing OCG or TCG banlist? If it's OCG then I can play 3 Brilliant. If it's TCG then I can play 3 Lonefire.
Where there's life, there's hope.Oh, my apologies, you're right! I thought blossom was also limited on the TCG, sorry fkr my mistake.
Fixed. Now you should find more players.
Where there's life, there's hope.Any tip on how I do that? I am new here, so I don't quite know how to navigate the forums

Name: Aaron Kahu
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Personality: Aaron is generally a very cautious person, not wanting to take many risks. He does have a strong sense of morality, and isn't afraid to stand up for what he thinks is right. His personality is affected by the Elemental Lords when he uses them. Pyrorex makes him more aggressive, Moulinglacia makes him more analytical and cold, Grandsoil makes him more stoic, Windrose makes him more carefree and dramatic, and Phosphorage makes him more zealous. The only exception is Umbramirage, who's personality is similar to Aaron's own.
Backstory: Aaron's family has traditionally been the guardians of the Elemental Lords, a group of powerful duel spirits capable of manipulating the elements of the world. The Lords' powers are sealed inside of a translucent stone, which Aaron is the latest keeper of. Unlike his ancestors, who channeled the powers of the stone in the service of helping people while keeping the Elemental Lords' powers out of the hands of those who would abuse them, Aaron has trouble controlling the Lords or using their abilities. His attempts to use them in duels usually results in the Lords partially possessing him. Aaron set out on a journey to find a way to control the Lords and their powers, with the first stop being meeting and training with the legendary duelist "The Gambler".
Appearance: Aaron has slightly tanned skin and short dark brown hair. He usually wears a denim vest along with a t-shirt and shorts. His duel disk features the Gem of the Elemental Lords in the center, alongside 5 smaller gems that interact with the Lords' summoning. He generally looks a little younger then he actually is.
Abilities: While incapable of properly using the powers of the Elemental Lords, at least for now, Aaron does have the ability to communicate with them and other duel spirits.

Wait what? That's 3 players who came from the same place. Any idea to expand the search for players?
Where there's life, there's hope. Not really much you can do other then hoping people see the post on the signup forums and decided to join.
Wait what?Interest
GIVE ME YOUR FACEOk, I think it´s all good, except maybe for the machine deck but fortress to 1 and bullet train to 2? Does that sound reasonable?
It has come to my understanding that there currently isn´t a Yu-Gi-Oh RP that accepts new players going on(please correct me if I am mistaken). As such, I wanted to kinda see if people would be interested in going along with this idea I sorta had kicking around in my head for a while!
Basically this is an RP that doesn´t really share continuity with any of the Yu-Gi-Oh shows, and just borrows some concepts and ideas to do it´s own thing. The setting is one where dueling is even a bigger thing than it is on most Yu-Gi-Oh series, for a real world comparison, duel monsters has a place in this world much like actual dueling had in a lot of real world cultures such as medieval europe.
,Albeit the RP is set in our current year, technology is just as advanced as it was in Dark Side of dimensions. This means there is advanced A.I.s, holograms and robots, all thanks to the discoveries made by Masquerade industries, a gaming company that released Duel Monsters in 1974, and has since pretty much taken over everything.
But technology isn´t the focus of the RP, as the name suggests, the story will center much more around the occult elements that exist in the franchise. Cause you see, in this world, duel monsters was created using symbols of power that the egyptians used to summon up powerful spells, and as such it is possible to use the game as a means to channel latent magical energies.
But this is not a fact that is of public knowledge, because magic users are so rare, that they sorta exist as a urban legend, in their own closed out society.
As for what the story will entail, well each arc will have a different story, thus far I have the first 2 planned out. The first one will have the players finding out about a mysterious legendary duelist only know as "The Gambler". Little is known about her, but various of the best players claim to have been mentored by her, after they managed to reach her cabin, which sits at the top of a dangerous and secluted mountain.
The Gambler has made an announcement that any duelist that reaches her, if proven worthy, will be greatly rewarded!
