It's certainly possible, especially since Leaf's stuck with Eevee, Red has Charizard, and that Sygna Suit Blue sitting around in the code probably has Blastoise. Unless they're saving Venusaur for Sygna Suit Leaf instead.

Dragon training event is up, and this one is a bit juicier than those before. It unlocks Clair and Iris sync grids, and the event rewards give bundles of orange sync orbs to boot!
Excellent. We should expect Grass Training (with Rosa and Erika merges/grids) some time soon as well.

Happy Valentine's Day, and happy Professor Oak and Steven Stone day!
Taking a look over Oak's missions, it seems you can get everything he has to offer by:
- Clearing 5 courses on Normal with Oak on your team.
- Clearing 5 courses on Hard with Oak on your team.
- Clearing 20 courses on Very Hard with Oak on your team.
- Clearing 30 courses on Super Hard with Oak on your team.
- Clearing any 100 battles total with Oak on your team, clearing any 100 battles total with a Tech pair on your team, and clearing any 150 battles total regardless of Oak or Tech.
- Leveling Oak to 100.
- Learning all of Oak's moves/passives.
- Dealing a total of 100,000 damage with Oak.
- Using Sync Moves 100 times (with or without Oak).
- Using moves from Psychic-type Pokemon 100 times, and using super-effective moves from Psychic-type Pokemon 100 times. You could do these together by focusing on maps with Psychic-weak opponents.

Besides Valerie, the new Sync Pairs hidden in the most recent datamine are... Sabrina & Alakazam, Fantina & Mismagius, Sygna Suit Elesa & Rotom, and... Red & Charizard.
The Giovanni & Mewtwo event is also getting a rerun (with rebalanced rewards/items), and there's some other odd doodads hidden in there too like banners for Electric and Ghost Training events, evolutions for apparently every NFE Pokemon except Brock's Onix and the player's Pikachu and Torchic, and something called Lucky Skills.

Amidst all the craziness of that trailer, don't let it distract you from the fact that the most recent datamine suggests data for N of all people has finally been added to the game.
On a completely unrelated note, given the recent story chapters, I wonder if they're setting up Paulo to fall in with a bad crowd in his pursuit of power. That'd at least give him something to stand apart from all the other insipid rivals of recent mainline games.

Man, the Battle Villa is harder than anticipated. Even with a full team of level 120 trainers, I got wiped by Team Agatha.
On the plus side, the music for fighting Rachel and Sawyer is pretty boppin'.

They're Clemont & Heliolisk (Electric Tech), Guzma & Golisopod (Bug Phys. Striker), and Plumeria & Salazzle (Poison Spec. Striker). The main thing to take note of is that Guzma's Sync Move is called "Your Boy's X-Scissor".

Lots of stuff going on. We have a Ho OH event on the horizon and we also have been introduced to eggs! You can pick a kanto starter of your choice to be a sync pair to the mc, with more eggs appearing in the future!
There is also ways to get sync pairs and level up sync moves outside of scouting.
