That's totally Kaiji Tang voicing the Poke Fans, right?
Did my first sync pair 10-scout now that Blue's out, got Karen instead. Dunno if I really want to try again or wait for the next banner.
I really need to progress more to unlock all the stuff (currently on chapter 3)
Man, the auto-battle AI is really stupid. Left Korrina, Wulfric, and Brycen to grind a little against the Kahili Tech course.
You'd think the two Ice-users would gang up on Kahili's Ice-vulnerable Toucannon while Korrina stays dormant until it's time to fight the enemy weak to Fighting.
Instead, the auto-battle AI decides the best strategy is to just have Korrina 1-v-1 Kahili, and spam Close Combat (which consumes 3 energy bars and debuffs the user). And even sillier is that even in the event she gets the Toucannon to minimum health without dying to the Sync Move, she'll insist on finishing it off with Close Combat even when a Vacuum Wave would suffice and be faster.

It's almost amusing to have Roark auto-battle and immediately commit suicide by Head Smash.
Auto battle seems to favour the strongest attack of the mon with the highest attacking stats, types be damned (at least if it can't 1HKO with the type advantage otherwise). I imagine that's why it sometimes switches from Treecko to Infernape after one or two Leaf Storms.
Pokemon Masters has made $26 million in just a week
For people wondering why the pokemon brand loves the mobile market over the consoles, this is why.
Why put money into the mainine when these games will print it for you instead
Damn, i'm worried for the future of the console games.
...you do know what the industry is like currently, right? That ship sailed like 5 years ago.

I specifically mean Pokemon console games.
It's already not looking bright.
$26 mil? In a week? Geeze, no wonder companies don't talk about the profits of their mobile games. They make so much more money than console/PC/handheld games with less effort.
It's nice that the English translation gave Whitney an accent, even if it's only in text. I've headcanoned her with a southern accent since I heard about her Kansai accent a decade ago.
Are there no former players characters in this.
I know Kris is in the game, and I recall Rosa is there as well, but I was checking the character page for the game on this very wiki, and I didn't see a lot of the other MC's.
Maybe I missed them.
Give it time. These sort of games survive and get updates for as long as people willing to throw money down their well.

Brendan is. Red, Hilda, and Hilbert are in it but not playable yet. Most likely all of them will come eventually.
I just want to collect the Team Leaders, they seem like a fun bunch to hang out with.
Brendan makes reference to May as a Coordinator, but I hope the game allows for both protagonists to be the player character. It's already a mix of different time periods and 'verses, so I don't see why not. I just hate Brendan in the role of the MC.
Just "Coordinator" and "May" being in the same sentence alone makes me sad.
Twitch Plays Pokémon did better service to her design and implied personality than most official sources.
there is absolutely and literally no difference between brendan and may besides the fact that may is a girl also i really dislike her ORAS design
the interesting thing though is that there has yet to be any contradictions between the characters available and what they've said. like, i'm kind of impressed there haven't been any issues so far where two characters can't exist in the same world.
emphasis on "so far", anyway. i fully expect Masters to drop a character that can't exist in the same world as another character and have them just not explain it.
There's a story event that "Hints" that some of the people on the island are there thanks to Hoopa so there's your explanation.
There was a datamine that says Lyra and Hilbert should be out within the next few weeks, so we can add that to the PC pool.
I think the only possible timeline gripe is how both members of the kanto and jhoto elite 4 are both here at the same time, but that can be easily handwaved by saying technically they never left their positions.
Agatha would have retired (not died) in the 3 year gap, though she would still retain her privileges as an Elite Emeritus. Lorelei would be the Governor of the Sevii sub-region.
and youre getting this info from where?
Agatha being retired but still having some privilege seems like a reasonable assumption to make.
The Lorelei thing is straight-up Fan Wank, though.

Many people get attached to one character as the protagonist. I just can't see Brendan (or most of the boys) as the protagonist, so it's weird seeing him described as such. The game could have kept it ambiguous like the main games do.
