This thread will be to list pages whose pics are fine as is but are needing quality upgrades, so we don't take up space in the forum with individual threads for them.
Swapping a pic with a better-quality version is a free action, as is swapping a pic with a larger identical version to fit the new image size criteria (800px minimum width). If there are more changes in the proposed swap (e.g. less text, slightly different coloring or crop), however, you might want to post here first.
Resources:
- Reverse image search engines like Google Image Search
, Tineye
, Yandex
, and Bing
are useful for finding larger-quality versions.
- SauceNAO
can locate artwork sources.
- GIMP
(download), Photopea
, and Photoroom
are good freeware for simple manipulations like increasing brightness or removing backgrounds.
Please add pages that need work to the following Sandbox page: Artifacts 'R' Us

They have the same background but with different crops. Prefer #5575 for being inclusive.

I went ahead and swapped in the second image proposed here
for Total Nuclear Annihilation.
Current image for To Boldly Flee:

Done, thanks. Now, can someone recolor the title in this for Durarara!! to match the current, or give it a color or effect that makes it pop more? So far, it's been the only version I've found that was both size-compliant and of good quality.

I wasn't sure if that would be a problem or not (or if I was allowed to crop them out under wiki policy). Is this better?

Pinball cleanup threadHere is an upgrade for Jack Jeanne's current image:
Does it look good?

Artist signatures are fine is my understanding and should not be cropped out ideally (exceptions being if it's something like a webcomic that needs cropped and the artist sig is lost by happenstance). This is different to a watermark which is when it goes over the image in an obstructive way. Might be worth sticking:
In a caption if you are concerned about anyone questioning it.

Is the mark up for that if you need it.

The best one I can find that is both +800px and doesn't have issues like a bad crop or strange reflection in the image is this newer edition cover from Amazon with a different colour background:

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if the brighter blue was the intentional appearance anyway given that current is clearly a far lower quality and older image. Darker and more washed out colors is a common trend I've noticed with a lot of older images for older works.

I think #5573's image works better for Wizard, since it focuses more on the main points of interest.
