This thread will be to list pages whose pics are fine as is but are needing quality upgrades, so we don't take up space in the forum with individual threads for them.
Swapping a pic with a better-quality version is a free action, as is swapping a pic with a larger identical version to fit the new image size criteria (800px minimum width). If there are more changes in the proposed swap (e.g. less text, slightly different coloring or crop), however, you might want to post here first.
Resources:
- Reverse image search engines like Google Image Search
, Tineye
, Yandex
, and Bing
are useful for finding larger-quality versions.
- SauceNAO
can locate artwork sources.
- GIMP
(download), Photopea
, and Photoroom
are good freeware for simple manipulations like increasing brightness or removing backgrounds.
Please add pages that need work to the following Sandbox page: Artifacts 'R' Us

For Alien (2022): replace the cover of the first comic issue with the collected edition?
Not much change, but the titles stand out more, the subtitle's added and we lose the blurry "parental advisory" at bottom left.

NightmareFuel.Dream Works Animation needs a quality upgrade. I know because I took the picture. Off my TV. I wasn’t expecting it to be used.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight. The current Mario Party: Island Tour image is the box art with a Nintendo Selects border. Mind if I replace it with this image without the Nintendo 3DS banner and ESRB rating?
And while I'm at it, do the same to the Mario Party: Star Rush image?
Before I make a thread for Eye Take, I want to get thoughts on if any of these are enough of a quality upgrade from the current to be worth proposing...they're all screenshots from B. Dylan Hollis' various YouTube shorts and almost all are in motion so I'm concerned about their quality.

~Twiddler has brought up that Zero-Context Example doesn't have to be 350p anymore. How's this?

TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupNamco's logo is a bit stretchy.....

ETA: on second thought, maybe the text is a bit small? It's fine for me, but I could see it being a bit small for others.

At some point, it looks like my beautifully crisp lossless 17.57KB PNG of Mario in Mario Kart DS on the "Jack of All Stats" page was transcoded into a worse-quality lossy 19.45KB Web P with notably worse color saturation (don't be fooled by its seeming .png file name).

The original crisp PNG can be found here:

All images are converted to lossy WebP images now. I don't think there's anything we can do about it (short of hotlinking the version from Archive.org like you just did, but I don't think that's allowed on pages).

The image on VideoGame.Wario Ware Get It Together is a bit weirdly cropped, since it is a cropping of the horizontal art. May I suggest using the vertical art instead
