I'm one hundred percent in for this one. Arkane's done some amazing stuff and the style of this one is wholly unique.
Also loading that nailgun is just sexy.
You are not alone.Looks like they're expanding on ideas from Prey: Mooncrash, like learning how to navigate and manipulate the world more efficiently with each run.
Though in Mooncrash, things that were done by one character persisted for the rest during a run, along with characters getting permanent upgrades, so I wouldn't be surprised if loop-proof elements show up here as well.
They certainly have to come up with a few very good explanations as to why e.g. the main character is supposed to have a persistent memory, while other characters apparently do not.
That said, I'm also happy to see that the game doesn't take itself a hundred percent seriously this time around. There's some strong NOLF vibes in the presentation and voice acting.

Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence. The first time around he kills Egor during the evening and then he doesn't have enought time to reach Aleksis but he sabotages the experiment in the morning. It's possible that Egor isn't reachable at the time of the experiment for some reason or that he was doing something else at the time. The point isn't to find the most time-optimal path it's to manipulate the targets so that they are in position to be killed in time.

New trailer has been released during State of Play, three days ago.
Also, here's another trailer that reveals more details about gameplay

On unrelated note, this song is insanely good
. I've been listening to it on the repeat for almost two days now
I guess you mean The Operative: No One Lives Forever? Because that sounds like it has a lot in common with Deathloop, and this is the first I hear of No One Lives Forever.
Something I always wonder with this kind of game that expects you to die a lot because of a time-loop is what would happen if someone finished the game in one shot...
Just began playing on my PS 5. I'm having a good time with it so far, but the marketing made it look like a time-driven roguelike with Dark Souls-esque multiplayer when it's actually more of a linear experience than Prey or Dishonored 2. It's been fun to experiment with the game, but I'm not sure if Bethesda knew how to market this game since it hasn't matched what I was expecting from this title.

The beginning is strictly linear, but after the first chapter it becomes mostly do-whatever-you-want freeform. It's still more Dishonored rather than PREY in structure, but you aren't bound to completing every map in one sitting before being locked out.
Fear the cinnamon sugar swirl. By the Gods, fear it, Laurence.Bethesda's Marketing was fucking garbage for this game.
Too many trailers that didn't really explain the game to well, or maybe even might have OVER explained the game, at that, without being clear enough about what the game is.
I'm sure its a great game, but one who's marketing feels poorly handled.

Arkane is doing a game about a time loop. Not much info about it so far, but the trailer is incredible. Given what an incredible job Arkane did with the Dishonored series and Prey, I am really hyped for this.
