um hey i'm making an animation about a guy who is an Australian treasure hunter and survivalist but how do i make the character accurate to real life

[up] You start by writing a fleshed-out character. Viewers ignore any inaccuracy as long as the character is well-written. You must write your 'Australian treasure hunter' as a realistic character.

Firstly, write down points for each character trait. Second, you must write a personality description based on the points for each character trait. Third, you start giving your character a backstory, a distinctive appearance and little character traits to make your character relatable.

And then read some nonfiction books about real life treasure hunters, like "Pirate Hunters" by Robert Kurson, for an idea what this type of person is like.
