The current does have some JPEG artifacting, but only a little, around the logo. Here's a PNG (I've already swapped it in):
The image is intentionally blurry. It represents something from the film: a paranormal border that has isolated a small area from the rest of the world.
I really prefer the current over any of the other suggestions, since they're all just Floating Head Syndrome and convey basically nothing about the movie.
The Blu-ray / DVD cover also gives the impression that Oscar Isaac has a large role in the film. He doesn't.
