I'm interested in joining this RP and seeing where it goes. Are OCs (not attached to any franchise) allowed in any capacity?
Edited by JumpingFruit on May 18th 2019 at 9:51:43 AM
I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.Yes, OCs are allowed too. As long as they abide to the rules of the RP.
Listen, Zamasu may have lost Goku Black during erasure but he always is alive to this very day. IMMORTALITY IS MY BITCH!- Home Universe: Devil May Cry
- Name: Beatrice
- Age: 27
- Species: Mutant human/partial demon
- Abilities:
- Beatrice's partial demonic heritage is a result of a procedure that allowed the heart and muscles of a demon to grow inside her, via a combination of surgery and a modified Ritual of Ascension, the thing that created the bad guys in the church back in Devil May Cry 4. It grants her a weak healing factor that lets her get back in good shape with a couple hours of rest from most injuries, a good tolerance for pain, as well as car-tossing superhuman strength, a ten-foot vertical leap, and the speed and reflexes to dodge bullets from 100 feet away or further. When in danger she can send the demonic parts of her body into overdrive by activating the center of her mutation, a collection of organs near her heart called the Devil Engine. This transforms her more fully into a demon for up to a minute. During this time all the boons of her demonic form double and her appearance becomes distinctly monstrous. A side benefit also is that the demon heart didn't replace her old one; two hearts have boosted her endurance and cardio, and she can definitely keep going with only one up at a time too.
- Beatrice uses a whip and an "engine shield" known as Zeal and Ardor. Ardor is a metal roundshield covered in swirling grooves across its face; the handle on the back is a throttle however, and revving it sends propellant coursing through the channels. Parrying an attack as the shield is revving can cause it to spark, turning a defense into offense in a second as the shield flares into a firestorm. Zeal is a heavy leather whip about ten feet long threaded with both iron and silver, just in case it was useful, also often soaked in holy water again just in case. Zeal and Ardor can combine into a horrible edged mace thing, popping the end of the whip into the back of the shield to turn it into a flail that even Beatrice has difficulty controlling.
- Appearance:Beatrice
likes to wear full military dress most of the time, sometimes accessorizing with a backpack or other utility gear. The only sign of her demonic heritage normally is a heat haze that wavers around her, but under duress her skin turns redder and redder the longer she stays hopped up on adrenaline. When things go very bad and she activates the Devil Engine, she also sprouts a pair of horns and a set of short, angular wings out of her back.
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Backstory: Beatrice was yet another orphan who grew up on the streets of the vaguely cult-run city of Fortuna, which worshiped the Legendary Dark Knight that saved the world thousands of years ago, Sparda. She was too young to experience most of the "plot" of her universe from anything but the sidelines up till now, however, as a passive child just sort of hunkering down against the rise and fall of her home city. It gave her a strong impression, that what really mattered to a place was its people, not its institutions, or at least not these. So when she saw real people getting their hands dirty and electing to keep the world safe, this Devil May Cry business, she jumped at the chance; the merging of worlds into a sort of interdimensional hell just made her drive to do so even stronger. The people of Fortuna had been through enough, and so she elected to become part-demon in order to more effectively help them as another asskicker for their world. She set out into the world with Zeal and Ardor to smack down anyone getting too big for their britches to make sure Fortuna would be left well enough alone before anyone even knew about it.
- Personality: Kind of a violent ass that doesn't contemplate the consequences of her actions too far in advance. Friendly and helpful to those she sees as weaker than herself, but immediately suspicious towards anyone in positions of power or with obvious ambitions. She's unafraid of being direct with people whether that means she likes them or not, and she always keeps Zeal and Ardor on herself to ensure that people know she's Down To Fight. She has refused a surname as a reminder of her origins—she will only take one when she finds someone strong enough to be worthy of marriage.

- Home Universe: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance
- Name: Raiden
- Age: 35
- Species: Cyborg
- Abilities:
- Cyborg Ninja: Being 99% machine, Raiden is not like the average person. For one, his body is highly resistant to damage with small arms fire being virtually worthless against it and his armor is shown to be capable of taking insane force. As well internal nanomachnes monitor his blood and cause him to tire much more slowly and he has pain suppressing nano-machines that cause him to not feel any kind of pain from injures. However, no amount of armor can protect his brain from damage so if hit with a rapid string of attacks he can be stunned momentary due to internal safety systems disconnecting the body from the brain in order to prevent brain damage. Also said the brain can still be knocked around with strong enough hits to the head, causing minor concussions. Rounding out his cyborg parts is his self-taught skill with his sword, knowledge on how to sneak good, and enough strength to pick up a 500-ton mech and judo toss it. Of course downsides of being a cyborg include being weak to anti-electronic weapons/hacking, the fact that his body weights a ton, and that he is mostly no longer organic.
- Blade Mode: Raiden can temporarily slow down his perception of time by around 60% to 90%, granting him the ability to react much more quickly to enemy attacks and strike faster and harder. However, this is limited due to it being a drain on his body's power cells. Since no cyborgs are around that Raiden can rip off the spines from to recharge, he can't just spam it willy nilly.
- Ripper Mode: This serves as a super-powered mode that pushes his body to it's limits. In this mode, he hits harder, moves faster, his lightning turns red, the blood of his enemies stick to his HF Blade, and disables his pain suppressing nano-machines, as the pain helps him fight better in this mode. He can activate it for short bursts of a few seconds at the cost of draining his energy reserves. However, this comes with the of Raiden becoming a 100% batshit insane.
- Ninja Run: Raiden is capable of moving rapidly at high speeds, slightly slower than a speeding train at max. When he does this, his feet give off a blue shimmer effect with every step he takes. Ninja Run allows him the capability of using this speed to quickly run up and down walls and jump large distances.
- AR Mode: It's what the mask is for. By using data from outside the visual spectrum and analysis of possible threats and points of interest the system works as a sensor for stuff. Such as people to slice, things to slice, things that might be important. It's very good at finding things. Can't be used while attacking but the mask can be worn as just a mask for when Raiden needs to look cool.
- CODEC: A radio system used by Raiden, it's silent and no one could guess Raiden is talking to someone through this since it's mental. Can probably work with older tech such as hand radios and the like.
- HF Blade: Raiden's primary weapon, this sword is much stronger than your average blade because of the small, almost unnoticeable vibrations it gives off. These vibrations also greatly increase its cutting power, enabling him to slice almost anything apart with enough effort. Flesh, wood, softer metals? Harvest. A large steel beam or a car?... Also, harvest. But a tough armored foe? Going to need Ripper Mode or do some damage first. However, the actual sword itself is not all that impressive in terms of durability.
- He also knows Spanish and can use his feet to hold his sword.
- Appearance: I think it's time for Jack, to LET 'ER RIP!
- Alignment: Chaotic Good. Raiden doesn't let legal bullshit get in his way of saving people. Chaotic Evil when in his Jack the Ripper persona.
- Backstory: Born in Liberia, Raiden spent his early life as a child soldier under Solidus Snake, his adopted father, killer of his parents, and future US president, during the First Liberian Civil War. Turns out he was really, really good at the whole killing thing, so much so he got dubbed "The White Devil" or "Jack the Ripper." As you can guess, the kid was pretty fucked up by the end of the conflict. Ending up in the United States, he did the smart action of suppressing the memories of his childhood then as an adult he joined the US military and did a billion VR missions. Now being a skilled but "inexperienced" rookie, saucy Jack was sent to handle the Big Shell incident which went as well as you could guess it did. Stopped terrorists lead by Solidus who wanted to try to defy The Patriots, a group of asshole AI's that wanted to control the world, won a sick awesome sword duel against Solidus atop Federal Hall, became buddy buddy with Solid Snake, a legendary soldier, went through some personal growth, good and bad, gained an HF sword from a cyborg ninja.
- Remember that group of assholes I talked about? Yeah, they then took Raiden and made him a super cool cyborg freak because they caught him while he was trying to save a little girl named Sunny. Daughter of the cyborg ninja he got the sword from. And then MGS 4 was a thing and pretty boy here helped Solid Snake, who was now like 80, delete the group of asshole AI's and free the world from the WAR ECONOMY. Now with the world's puppet masters gone PM Cs started to boom and Raiden needed to support Rose and Little John, his wife and kid, so he joined with Maverick, who focus more on security then active warfare and is lead by Borris who may or may not be totally Russian and was a friend of Raiden's back during the whole trying to save Sunny thing.
- After a failed protection job of a African president, Raiden and friends learned of a evil plot that Desperado Enforcement LLC., the presidents killers, were doing which went from "get lots of money" to "train children brains to be cyborg soldiers" to "our boss, a US senator with super nanomachines, wants to start another War on Terror so he can become president of the US and make massive regime changes in the US." Of course, Raiden did an outstanding job killing each leader of Desperado one by one in super cool boss fights but he also left the string of events a changed man, the Ripper being released and himself tired of not fighting his own wars.
- Personality: Raiden for being a cyborg swordmaster is actually a pretty normal guy in a lot of ways. His humor is pretty dry and snarky with a nice helping of cocky from time to time, he's a self-proclaimed movie nerd, dearly loves his wife and kid back home, thinks a clear tourist trap makes a good disguise,◊ pretty much just shrugs off weird things with a "What?" at most......Oh and because of a dark childhood, Raiden has another personality called Jack the Ripper, who is the side of Raiden that represents his killing nature released and his self-believed status as the "part of the 2% of people who take joy in murdering." Now, that said, even with the chance that he truly does like the death and the killing, Raiden still believes that his sword is a tool of justice, a tool to protect the weak from the strong, a way that can stop the few so the many can go unharmed. He's had a tough life and he in a million years wouldn't call himself a hero but no matter what he can be trusted to hack and slash away the bad.
Well, here it is. Probably gonna get nerfed, but I'm A-okay with that.

- Home Universe: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
- Name: Nancy Weaver
- Age: 15
- Species: Human
- Abilities: Nancy has the ability to generate a psychic projection of her will and fighting spirit, called a Stand.
- Stand Name: Seamstress
- Stand Appearance: Seamstress looks like a porcelain doll (with its lower half replaced by a single spindle) that's as tall as Nancy is, wearing a blue and white ballgown. It has long, tangled black yarn hair and wears a dark blue blindfold over its eyes. Mounted on its left arm is a spinning wheel and its right hand holds a sword-sized needle.
- Stand Stats:
- Destructive Power: C (Seamstress has a fair capability for dealing physical target either with its special ability or its own strength. When used to refer to Seamstress' physical prowess, it's about equal to an ordinary baseline human's.)
- Speed: A (Seamstress can move fast enough to match bullets in short bursts. After Seamstress moves, it stalls for several seconds, making it open to attacks. This is further limited by its ordinary range of manifestation.)
- Range: C (This is how far Seamstress can stray from its user before de-manifesting. This distance is about 15 meters.)
- Durability/Staying: C (Seamstress has defensive capabilities about the same as a normal human/its user.)
- Precision: B (Seamstress has exceptional reactionary abilities and is capable of obtaining information and sensory stimulation. It possesses far greater accuracy than a human does, and has a reaction time of ~0.1 seconds.)
- Development Potential: D (This rank shows that Seamstress cannot be improved very much beyond its current level with training and other methods. It is near the end of its developmental process.)
- Stand Abilities:
- Seamstress' special ability is to generate strong threads (which it can make sharp if Nancy directs it to) by rotating the spinning wheel mounted on its left arm. It is able to manipulate the thread while it is attached to the spinning wheel. If it ties the thread to its needle, it can sew any two mundane objects together, effectively fusing them (obviously good for first-aid as well).
- Nancy's amateur experience in fencing can also be used to use Seamstress' needle as an improvised rapier and the spinning wheel as a weapon-catching device. However, Seamstress was not originally a swordfighting stand, so this is a makeshift mode of combat at best.
- A Stand and its powers are generally invisible to normal humans, yet are able to affect ordinary items. Usually, only Stand Users are able to see other Stands and affect them with their own Stands. To maintain balance, let's say that anybody that's not a baseline human may be able to sense "something" there, and psychics/people with enhanced sight can actually see Seamstress. Any non-technological enhanced weapon can also harm Seamstress. If Nancy is harmed, so is Seamstress, and vice versa. However, Seamstress' dress doesn't actually count as part of it. Only its doll parts and the spindle that replaces its legs count.
- Seamstress is blind, so Nancy cannot see through its eyes like other Stand Users. Instead, its hearing is enhanced substantially. However, she can use it to communicate using its mouth.
- Nancy herself is an amateur fencer and skateboards pretty well, so she's fairly fit for a girl of her age. Her education level is equivalent to a 10th grader.
- Stand Name: Seamstress
- Appearance: Kinda punky.
◊ Stands at 5'2" and weighs in at about 125 lbs.
- Alignment: Chaotic Good
- Backstory: Nancy was born and raised in the Japanese town Morioh by her mother, Taylor Weaver, and an apartment full of weirdos in the absence of a father figure. It can be said that the morals imparted by her parental surrogates and her desire to protect her mother (who works as a seamstress and inspired her Stand's look) helped her to manifest her Stand. Currently, the apartment complex that she lives in is well-secured thanks to its residents' efforts, and Nancy hopes that she can protect her friends from the interdimensional chaos with her Stand.
- Personality: She might look like a punk (because she likes the aesthetic), but she doesn't act like it. Nancy will try to help anyone in trouble to the best of her ability, because she believes that people have to stick together in hard times to pull through. She often cracks jokes to hide her true feelings and is a hard worker. However, she can be overly reckless and stubborn, especially if she feels like people are looking down on her.

I wear the skin of the Elder Things, having come unto my own.Taco, Panda, and Jumping Fruit's characters are accepted. All of you are awesome, so are your characters as well!
- Home Universe: Originally an uninteresting modern Earth, briefly the fantasy world of Lotus.
- Name: Tibalt of the Five Lands
- Age: 25
- Species: Human
- Abilities:
- Unresolved Isekai: Tibalt didn't save the world of Lotus, he didn't become king and he didn't grow as a person. As such, the curse of being an unwilling protagonist sticks around and keeps trying to pull him to new fantasy-era worlds whenever he dies. Generally he doesn't stick around long enough to save those worlds either...
- The Walker's Wish: The single thing of note that Tibalt did on Lotus before leaving was making a wish upon its power, this wish ignited an imperfect facsimile of a Planeswalker's Spark within him. As such, he can somewhat walk between worlds of the multiverse, though without a solid target to focus on he has a hard time getting anywhere.
- Has a Sword: Tibalt has a fairly large gold sword. That is on fire. Downside is that he has no formal training in actually using a sword in combat.
- Has a Deck: Tibalt possesses a deck of Magic: The Gathering cards. The cards are entirely mundane and confer no benefit, but at least he knows how to play.
- Appearance: Tibalt is very normal. He's a little bit tall but beyond that he looks like the kind of homely human that would be found on any civilian world. Short brown hair, darkened hazel eyes and skin that's pale despite how much time he's started spending outside amid the worlds. Nowadays, he tends to wear a lot of grey and practical clothing to prevent people from drawing any implications about his motivations or home whenever he travels.
- Alignment: True Neutral. In that he likes helping people but his own motivations come first even if they are selfish.
- Backstory: Tibalt was meant to be a protagonist. Before the unknown death that dragged him into the world of Lotus he was just a normal student living with his parents on an Earth with no obvious magic or paranormal features. That's why he was one of the chosen dozen to be brought to a fantastical world that needed saving; He was meant to be a hero, to rise to the occasion and become the king that world wanted and knew he could be with just a few adventures... And then he left. Tibalt doesn't often mention how but he got a hold of a powerful wish, and used it to gain power to allow himself to leave the world of Lotus and forge a destiny of his own choosing.
- Personality: Tibalt doesn't get angry. Correction; he gets angry just as much as he gets sad or encouraged or stunned into silent wonder, what he never does is get reckless. He tries to be a good person most of the time, being friendly and warm to those who don't bear hostility but when push comes to shove, he's willing to strike out on his own and be selfish when the other option gives him no benefit.
Pentigan's Character, Tibalt is now accepted!
Reason: Tibalt is a very interesting character, and i quite like that he used to be human before he entered the world of Lotus. It's very sad in the beginning, and as soon as i read his backstory halfway, that hit me when he left the world that he was supposed to save.
It's very well written, and it hit me emotionally. So i give props to Pentigan himself.
Tigergrimm, there is a small age limit. Only a minimum at the age of 5, and no limit on the max age. You're in the clear, by the way.
Spottedleaf, alright. I'll see your character as soon after you posted your filled out form. :)
7/200 Max slots left! Only 7/15 accepted characters required to start the RP!

Listen, Zamasu may have lost Goku Black during erasure but he always is alive to this very day. IMMORTALITY IS MY BITCH!Home Universe: Doctor Who
Name: The Doctor
Age: Circa 2000 chronologically; mid-30s physically
Species: Time Lord
Abilities:
1. Regeneration - when mortally wounded, Time Lords can switch actors-I mean, forms. The result of this is essentially a different person with the same memories, which sometimes includes gender-bending. Most Time Lords have a twelve-regeneration limit, but The Doctor broke this, so her true number of regenerations is unknown. The process is relatively quick but extremely painful, often having side effects that last anywhere from a few hours to entire days, and is only a last resort when the Time Lord cannot heal themselves. This one probably won't come into effect at all.
2. Super intelligence - The Doctor is extremely intelligent, particularly when it comes to alien races and tech. She's basically a walking, talking guide to the universe, and is particularly skilled at creating gadgets that range from "so safe that a baby can use them" to "could destroy the solar system in under ten seconds." However, her intelligence isn't always helpful, and her past incarnations have been known to have mental breakdowns when it's failed them.
3. Mild Telepathy - She can read minds when she's touching them, but she's not very strong, at least compared to her fellow Time Lords.
4. Sonic Screwdriver and TARDIS - her Sonic Screwdriver can scan materials and open things (as long as they're not deadlocked, which a lot of things in the Doctor Who universe seem to be), but interestingly, it "doesn't do wood". Her TARDIS is her time machine, which is extremely fickle and rarely takes her where she wants to go (but always where she needs to be). It's also sentient, breaks down, gets lost/stolen, or refuses to budge a lot.
Appearance: 5'6, with short blond hair and dark roots, brown eyes, a Cheshire Cat-esque grin, and a long blue coat (picture here
◊).
Alignment: Chaotic good. She's basically a time-traveling social justice warrior - if she sees something wrong with the universe, she won't stop until she's fixed it, and she won't let other people boss her around.
Backstory: Born a boy on the planet Gallifrey, she (er, he) grew bored with his planet's stifling society and stole a time machine to see the universe. He came back only to fight in the Last Great Time War, which only he and a handful of other Time Lords survived and the trauma and consequences of which haunts him (or her) to this day.
Personality: The Doctor is cheerful, perky, friendly and kind (though not necessarily patient) and will go out of her way to help, but has occasional flashes of egoism, sorrow, and pure, unfettered rage, the last of which has been known to end with the destruction of whole planets. And she's a pacifist. This side of her doesn't come out very often, though. She's loyal to a fault and terrified of being alone, but has a tendency to try to push people away out of fear of them getting hurt because of her.
Let me know what I left out, what I should elaborate on and what I should nerf.

“What is pride without honor? What is honor without truth? Honor is not what you say. It is not what you read. It is what you do.”Home Universe: Arrowverse (The Flash, Earth-1)
Name: Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost
Age: 30
Species': Metahuman
Abilities: As Caitlin, she is a skilled doctor who possesses genius-level intellect and satisfactory marksmanship. She has the ability to shift into a darker alter ego named Killer Frost.
As Killer Frost, she has the ability to generate ice (and structures made thereof) or cold temperatures, which can be fired from her hands or exhaled from her mouth. She also has the ability to absorb heat, though too much will weaken her, and possesses accelerated healing (though not on par with, say, Wolverine or Lobo.)
Appearance: Caitlin is of average height and is Caucasian, and wears her hair in a long style with some curls. Her hair and eyes are brown. When the Killer Frost personality is in control, her eyes and lips turn blue and her hair turns silver.
Alignment: As Caitlin, neutral good; as Frost, Chaotic Good.
Backstory: Caitlin was the daughter of two doctors, Dr. Thomas Snow and Dr. Carla Tannhauser. When she was a child, her father experimented with cold fusion technology to cure a degenerative disease he had, and later repeated the experiments on Caitlin when he found out that she also had the disease. Her mother then worked to fake his death as a means of covering this up. These experiments were the cause of the emergence of “Killer Frost” later in Caitlin’s life.
In her mid-twenties, Caitlin began working at S.T.A.R. Labs, where she and a small group of other scientists worked on building a particle accelerator. However, on the night the accelerator was turned on, an unexpected storm caused it to explode, creating thousands of humans with enhanced abilities or special powers- known as “metahumans.” One of these metahumans, Barry Allen, became the superhero known as The Flash. He began working from S.T.A.R. Labs, with Caitlin as his medic and her close friend Cisco Ramon as the tech expert.
Later, an evil speedster named Zoom posed as a hero and befriended Caitlin, and she began to develop feelings for him before she knew his true nature. However, even after his secret was out, he still harbored obsessive feelings for her, and he kidnapped her and brought her to his dimension. There, Caitlin met another version of herself who had fully embraced the Killer Frost identity. This scared her quite a bit.
Zoom later killed Barry’s father, leaving him so distraught that he traveled back in time to prevent said death. Eventually, he tried to restore the timeline, but in the process, Caitlin’s Killer Frost personality began to emerge. The two personalities clashed for a while, but eventually, Caitlin resurfaced, and the two sides made peace. She has since continued to work both as a scientist for S.T.A.R. Labs and as a superhero.
Personality: As Caitlin, she is blunt, guarded, and cold towards strangers, though secretly she harbors a love for cute things and displays of romance. Despite her initial coldness towards those she does not know well, she is quite warm and kind around those she takes a liking to.
Her Killer Frost side, which functions as something akin to a Superpowered Evil Side, is impulsive, sarcastic, rebellious, and has virtually no filter, but is also much more assertive than Caitlin. Still, either way, Caitlin remains fiercely protective of her friends.

>^owo^<Eh, why not. I've been wanting to play this duo again and we clearly don't have enough Chaotic Good characters.
- Home Universe: Ōkami
- Name: Amaterasu (and Issun)
- Age: Ageless and 20-something
- Species: Goddess, incarnated into a mortal wolf (Poncle, a kind of tiny nature spirit)
- Abilities:
- Physical Abilities: Amaterasu is strong enough to suplex demons twice her size, can run at Olympian speeds for hours on end at full tilt, and is tough enough to withstand explosions, tornadoes, and lightning and keep fighting. She's quite a skilled combatant as well, having learned some weird canine martial arts and she's proficient with three different kinds of weapons. She can do a short dash at high speed to dodge attacks.
- Praise: Her powers are strengthened by the faith of others, both humans and animals. All who look up to her and thank her for her deeds grant her power, which she can use to increase the amount of ink her tail produces, heal herself, or reduce the damage she takes from attacks. It takes a lot of prayers to actually increase her strength like this.
- Mother To Us All: Despite being an enormous wolf, she does not inspire fear. Her presence has a slight calming effect, in the way one would feel safe around one's mother. This is more pronounced in nonintelligent animals than people - animals will not attack her. Even territorial creatures such as bears will remain calm so long as she is nearby. Animals can still be forced to attack her, and domesticated creatures will still obey commands, but they will be much less likely to unintentionally hurt someone.
- Celestial Brush: Amaterasu's tail acts as a brush upon the universe itself. By drawing on the world, Amaterasu can perform 13 different techniques. While her tail constantly produces ink, it takes time to replenish ink when used, and if she uses too many techniques she'll revert to a normal white wolf and can't use techniques or her weapons for about ten seconds. Unlike in her home universe, time doesn't stop while she is drawing, so a keen observer can avoid the brushstrokes or even interrupt her - to an outside observer it will appear as though Amaterasu is drawing on the air in front of her face, and they can disrupt the ink before it solidifies into the brush technique.
- Sunrise: Amaterasu draws the sun in the sky, turning night into day or prolonging daytime... in her own realm, that is. Outside of her home universe, since she doesn't have control over other world's suns, it just makes a small, temporary light (lasts about half a minute, can only have 1 at a time) that makes the area around it comfortably warm and dry. It's light acts identical to sunlight, for anything that would be concerned about such (e.g. vampires).
- Rejuvenation: Amaterasu paints in the missing pieces of anything damaged or broken, restoring it to pristine condition. Can also clean dirty things.
- Power Slash: Slashes an object or enemy along a straight. Can slice through diamond boulders.
- Greensprout: Actually 3 minor plant-based techniques:
- Bloom: Circles a plant to make it grow and bloom.
- Water Lily: Makes a large lily pad in water that Amaterasu or an ally can stand upon.
- Vine: Draws a vine that pulls Amaterasu to any hook or other protrusion you could tie a rope to.
- Cherry Bomb: Creates an oversized round bomb that can be rolled around and explodes after a few seconds. The explosion is actually rather small, and Amaterasu can only have three bombs active at a time.
- Waterspout: Draws a line from a source of water to a target, striking it with a high-power spray. It's upgraded form, Deluge, uses more ink, but can create a small downpour on an enemy without needing an existing source of water. More ink = stronger downpour, and a strong one can pin an enemy to the ground with water.
- Crescent: Amaterasu draws the moon in the sky, turning day into night or prolonging nighttime... in her own realm, that is. Outside of her home universe, since she doesn't have control over other world's moons, it merely creates a small image of the moon, to act as a gentle light. Like with Sunrise, it lasts about half a minute, and only one light can be made at a time. Said light acts identical to moonlight, for anything that would be affected by such.
- Galestorm: Creates a powerful gust of wind to blow enemies away or spin windmills. It's upgraded form, Whirlwind, uses more ink but creates a small tornado around Amaterasu that slashes at enemies while pushing them away. More ink = tornado lasts longer.
- Inferno: Draws a line from a source of fire to a target, burning it like a flamethrower. It's upgraded form, Fireburst, uses more ink but creates a fireball without need of a fire source. More ink = bigger fireball.
- Veil of Mist: Slows time for four seconds from Amaterasu's perspective. To an outsider, it just looks like Amaterasu is moving faster for a few seconds. Doesn't stack with itself, but reusing it before the four seconds are up resets the duration.
- Catwalk: Draws cat's paws on a flat surface, allowing Amaterasu to stick to it and climb it by jumping up it.
- Thunderstorm: Draws a line from a source of open electricity (a tesla coil works, a power outlet doesn't) to a target, striking it with the force of lightning. It's upgraded form, Thunderbolt, uses more ink but summons a lightning bolt without a source of electricity. More ink = bigger bolt.
- Blizzard: Draws a line from a source of ice or snow to a target, freezing it with an icy spray. It's upgraded form, Icestorm, uses more ink but creates a storm of icy needles to bombard enemies without need of an ice source. More ink = bigger storm.
- Issun: He's a surprisingly skilled painter and a decent swordsman. Issun can jump several hundred times his own height, like a grasshopper, and is as strong as a normal human despite his tiny size. He can also steal small things (around baseball-sized or smaller) from enemies, and he can travel along an ink line drawn by Amaterasu, appearing to jump from her to an enemy and back again in the blink of an eye. Issun also can speak to animals, Amaterasu included - he intuitively understands her even though she only barks, and translates her intentions for her.
- Equipment:
- Denkomaru: Issun's sword, which is like a sharpened sewing needle. It's handle is also his paintbrush (he gets his ink from Ammy's tail).
- Water Tablet: A high-tech charm made by the Moon Tribe. Allows Amaterasu to walk on water.
- Fire Tablet: A high-tech charm made by the Moon Tribe. Grants a high resistance to heat and fire, and allows Amaterasu to swim in lava.
- Divine Instruments: Amaterasu's weapons. They float above her back, and she can move them without touching them. She swings them by swinging her head and neck. She can only use one at a time, but can switch between them at will. It takes a few seconds of concentration to switch weapons.
- Solar Flare: A reflector - a mirror-like weapon - enveloped in fire. It can be used to smash enemies or as a shield to block attacks. It is very balanced in terms of speed and power, and acts as a source of fire for Inferno.
- Tundra Beads: A rosary of blisteringly cold magatama beads. A weapon that acts like a bladed whip, fast and long-ranged, but weaker than Amaterasu's other weapons. The beads can also be rapidly fired off like bullets, after which they will reform back on the rosary after a few seconds. Acts as a source of ice for Blizzard.
- Thunder Edge: A huge greatsword, almost as big as Amaterasu herself. A powerful, slow weapon that can smash through weak defenses. By charging it with power for a few seconds, it can be used in a powerful forward drill lunge. Acts as a source of electricity for Thunderstorm.
- Appearance: Origin of all that is good and mother to us all, with her Celestial Envoy
◊ (Issun up-close; he's about an inch tall
)
- Alignment: Chaotic Good, for both of them.
- Backstory:
- In ancient Nippon, the village of Kamiki was beset by the twisted serpent Yamata no Orochi. Having slew the divines of the Celetial Plain and nearly ended worship of the Kami, they were powerless to stop him. Every year he would demand the fairest maiden of the village be sacrificed to his hunger. Each year, a white wolf appeared to stalk the sacrificial maiden, and the villagers dubbed it the Demon Shiranui. But one year, the brave swordsman Nagi defied Orochi and with the wolf's help slew the beast. In truth, that wolf was the goddess Amaterasu. She died saving Nagi's life. A century passed and the goddess was reincarnated, the white wolf returning to a land devoid of hope or light. Orochi had returned as well, and cursed the land.
- Amaterasu restored the sun, and met her new Celestial Envoy, a funny sprite named Issun. Together they traveled across Nippon, defeating Orochi once more as well as countless other demons, both great and small. Restoring faith to the people and reclaiming the powers of the failing gods, she found the true source of all darkness, the monster Yami, and vanquished it. The Sun rose again, and with her old friend Waka, she returned to the Celestial Plain to purge it of the last of Yami's influence.
- At some point, she returned to the mortal realm to visit Issun.
- Personality: Amaterasu is a kind, maternal soul, who always helps others in need. She is incredibly gentle and sweet to those she isn't fighting, especially to children, animals, and the elderly. However, against demons and those who mean to harm the innocent, she is an incredibly fierce protector who never backs down and always faces evil. She also has a taste for sake and likes buxom women (a trait she shares with her good buddy Issun) but knows when to focus and will sometimes chastise Issun for his antics. (Issun is a boastful traveling artist who loves the ladies and gives questionable advice. He's a good friend, though, and always encourages Amaterasu to do what's right.)
Tigergrimm's The Doctor, has been accepted with the side of green tea, good choice ma'am!
Spottedleaf's Killer Frost, gladly accepted! Who wants some snocones, anyone?
kagescorpianakki's Amaterasu, has accepted with deep respect within.

Ok this is probably suitable enough for this RP, but I would like some constructive criticism in case this isn't good enough to make it in. Here's a Godmodder. Please Kill him before he fucks up everything. https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15527074470A62989200
Looks decent by your writing, however i have a few things to point out. First off, Why you put little details on your character? It looks very rushed, as in it took you like 15 minutes. (No Offense or Harm.)
Secondly, i'd say the backstory, personality, and a few more things should be expanded more. Now, it looks good, but i can accept your character if you add in some improvements.
So, medievilParadox, i give this a 6/10. Decent enough, but however i feel there should be more things expanded upon. For example, Alfred's backstory should cover more things. As well as covering more of his abilities, as well as his appearance.
After you improve things more, i'll update my post whenever or not you get accepted.
Well, the power limit is above a god to a weak human. Although, world ending bombs are allowed if they are used a few times in the roleplay itself. So, here's my answer that may confuse you a little:
- Basically, it's the range of a Normal Human, alien, of any kind, to the level of a high order God/Goddess or a Cosmic Multiverse Leader. Rarity is very high due to balance issues. Only two of them per week, so it's time-gated for a good reason.
Anyways, let's see how it'll go in the roleplay once everyone has taken all 15 starting slots. It's wise to improve after you start off, though. So, keep in mind when it's time to nerf everything.
also, while it hasn't happened yet in canon (though I think it's implied), I may have Caitln and Frost move towards a Split-Personality Merge over the course of the RP. Is that an okay direction to take the character development in?

What was the event that cripples the multiverse's barriers? I'll tell you a story that most people that tell what it is supposed to be, an urban legend.
Very long ago, there was no life and light in the multiverse. Darkness surrounds this very empty multiverse, filled to the brim with unborn universes that seem to reverse its flow of entropy. The entire existence was born after the multiverse came into existence, but wouldn't be long before life itself would begin.
Then it happened, a spark of light appeared in every unborn universe in the entire dark multiverse, as a sign of imminent birth of life in existence. Over time, the spark grew brighter in the multiverse, a growing sign of a incoming event that starts it all.
Several seconds later, as all of the universes are witnessing an imminent Big Bang event, an event that as we all know is the birth of the universe through a colossal explosion. Life as we know is about to start with a bang. The darkness in the multiverse for the first time is now illuminated with colorful, vibrant light for the very first time.
Truly, its a beginning of life, light, and peace. As the multiverse expands itself rapidly over time, as the worlds expanded beyond our eyes can see, and beyond our imagination, as we can imagine. Gods alike are born on every universe as well, as the birth of every person in the multiverse.
People are living in their home universes in peace as they live their lives in harmony, as time began ticking away the first few seconds witnessed in the multiverse. However, gods are also maintaining their universes to ensure the right balance exists for life to live comfortably in the Age of Harmony.
However, even the peaceful era wouldn't last uninterrupted, as it faced with a massive eldrich being that poses a huge threat to the multiverse. A creature emerged after it ripped its own universe apart that failed to fend off the threat, as peace came into an unfortunate end.
The eldrich creature never had any intention of showing mercy or guilt, as it began to cause chaos and destruction in the entire multiverse. As the gods were living normally without any concern, but without warning, the universes' barriers formed cracks and eventually shattered.
After that, rogue inhabitants from other home universes start to show up in every universe, either to escape from the destructive wrath of the eldrich creature or to cause more destruction, fear, and chaos. As the gods noticed something was going wrong, suddenly, they were in a state of dread, shock, and fear when they noticed outsiders entering their own universes causing a lot of trouble in the process.
In an effort to attempt to prevent the inevitable, the gods attempted to either kill the outsiders, send them back home, or to imprison them, but nothing worked. The creature was going on a rampage, destroying many universes as it slaughtered trillions of people in their home universes in its wake.
The eldritch creature caused many people to lose their homes in the process of killing universes with the sole intent on destroying the entire multiverse. All hope seemed to rapidly diminish within the people of the multiverse due to the immeasurable destruction that the eldritch creature caused more chaos in the entire existence.
But if the creature itself weren't stopped on time, the eldritch being would have ended the entire multiverse if it weren't for the gods. Thankfully, the cries of people calling for help heard by a small group of gods who noticed the eldritch being was rampaging across the multiverse itself.
The group of gods began to share their suggestions on how to defeat the creature and prevent it from destroying more universes in the process. One suggestion came from Elysia, The Sun Goddess from her cube universe as she suggested sealing it away, but a cat god suggests to destroy the being instead.
A few gods seem to accept his suggestion, the likely reason why is that sealing it won't do any good; However, destroying the eldrich creature is the more likely choice for this type of situation. Now, the group gods spoke to each other, accepting the god's suggestion as a viable solution to defeat the threat in the multiverse.
Now, the clock is ticking down for the gods to think up a plan before all of the multiverse is killed off by the threat if they come up with a strategy just too late. Thankfully, the attack strategy they came up with is just enough to defeat the rampaging being, although they'll have to act fast, otherwise they'll be too late to save anyone in the multiverse.
The gods began to search for the being before they initiate their attack strategy, after searching for the eldrich monster, they have found it ripping several universes apart with its own claws and tentacles.
As soon as the eldrich monster noticed the gods right in front of them, it begun to attack at them. The gods dodged the attacks the being throws at, as they began to fight back the threat as hard as they can.
After a few eons of preventing the eldrich being from killing more universes, finally their attack strategy was successful as they killed the eldrich being entirety, saving the entire multiverse from destruction.
It was a massive victory to the gods and the multiverse, as they rejoiced together. But before they start a celebration, they went on to repair and restore all of the multiverse that has been killed by the eldrich being.
The Age of Chaos ended with the gods, having the ability to push back the enemy harder than ever before, and finishing it off with a victory. While the gods repairs the entire multiverse over time, the multiverse lord saw their victory, and in turn created an idea for the gods to decide on.
The Multiverse Lord have named this event, The Eclipsing Hour. An event that forms cracks in all universal barriers, then shatters without warning or notice. The event caused a lot of damage to the entire multiverse, an astronomical amount of people lost their lives during the event.
It shall be, no doubt that the event won't be forgotten in the people's minds who have witnessed it, as well as the gods will remember the fear in the beginning, and the light at the end of the road. The event inflicted massive scars in the multiverse, and no one shall forget the casualties the being caused with the intent of causing destruction without mercy or guilt.
Many eons later, the multiverse was fully restored to its former glory. Peace has returned, and yet people are now living happily in their home universes. Thanks to the gods, they started a massive celebration with each other. Celebrating their victory after eons of repair to the entirety of the multiverse, as they did their own thing towards each other.
After the celebration ended, the lord of the multiverse came in, and with a smile on his face on what the gods themselves have did in the past was merely a heroic act of determination.
The lord explained to the gods about his telling of the Eclipsing Hour Event may be one of the darkest ages in the multiverse, but due to the act of bravery and willpower in these gods, they are deeply rewarded with an idea.
An idea he came up with if The Eclipsing Hour event comes back in the distant future. The idea that the lord explains to the gods will be benefical to save trillions of lives, but also make them comfortable to live in, regardless of any race.
That includes us, humans included as well as several variants of human-like aliens. Most gods have approved his idea, but in order to create the world as a Earth-Like safe haven for any alien races, only a few gods must use their creation powers in order to make it happen.
So, the massive world was created by a few gods, and was named by the multiverse lord, Aetera. A world that starts out nearly 98% Earth like, but as a person ventures further, it becomes more alien as they go. If one were able to traverse too far away in the massive world, it has become to the point that is unreconizable to their eyes.
Aetera is also a refuge for all of alien life as well as human life, as it was also made to teleport others randomly into the world. It has a few indicators on the upcoming next The Eclipsing Hour event in the future, on what time has left, near-species extinction, few seconds before universe death, etc.
For many eons to come, this world will be the first multiverse's only safe haven, only a beautiful sanctuary for everyone to be safely teleported into the world itself.
Fast forward to 2019 of May, our timeframe in the multiverse. The multiverse is even more lively than in the past, even more people and aliens lived peacefully in the modern era, multiverse ships flying towards other universes through a multi-universal order, etc.
The scars from the far past is faint, but visible to the gods' eyes. Still, peace reigned in the entire multiverse for years to come. Unfortunately, peace would end at some point, as a sign of an incoming return of The Eclipsing Hour event showing a tiny crack in all of the universes' barriers.
But the good news? Well, there won't be any eldrich creatures that will come and reap destruction across the multiverse again. But the bad news? Everyone in the multiverse is at risk of becoming rogue, and likely will be a bad sign if this scenario happens.
For sure, it'll come back without warning. Then the multiverse will be threatened by an unseen threat, or a group of rogue inhabitants seeking to cause more chaos. Only time will tell us.
Now, it's your turn to start the story out. Any kind of universe shall do as well. And when you're starting out, please be careful of the many dangers surrounding the multiverse.
If you seen this as a generic massive crossover... my my, you are mistaken!
This isn't your cliche crossover roleplay, no. It's something else i've planned for a long two months for this. Something original i came up with while thinking about it for a long time, and i would share my what-if on that too.
What-if all of the franchises you love in anime, video games, cartoons, web animations, web comics, Youtube Poops, Films, Live-Action TV Shows, etc. Anything you loved, becomes an overly-epic garganguan of a crossover facing some sort of a Class X-9 Apoclypse event that outright destroyed the multiverse barriers, and have anime and video game gods in there?
Well, i'll tell you that you're looking at The Eclipsing Hour: World of Aetera, a story driven crossover of astronomical proportions, which it takes place at the entire multiverse itself! Yes, i am THAT crazy to make this! And i'm going to make it happen whenever it's inactive or not!
The whole story itself is massive, i recommend you read it fully before signing up to the RP. and yes, i also used a few characters from other franchises (See if you can guess all of them.) during the making of the story itself. It took me a full day of effort to make this story as detailed as it could be.
It's a rated 17+ Roleplay adventure since during this roleplay, some players would insert dark themes of gore, etc. But i say, that's fine as long as you don't overdo it too much. The Eclipsing Hour has dark themes of multiuniversal genocide at the story part, and the right amount of original themes in there.
Sooner or later, when sign-ups from other people gets overwhelming, i might have to close it for a month. But right now, this roleplay of mine will be dear to my heart if i decided to start the RP before they sign-up. Why? Well, it took me a lot of effort to make it as detailed as i could. I don't want this to go to waste.
Instead i'll start the RP if no one is interested on joining it. because i don't like wasted effort, and if someone was definitely interested in it, i'll be glad to accept them as long as they are within the rules.
Alright, i'll stop rambling this. I don't know why my mind has drifted itself into these things i wrote, so here's the character form to wrap things up before i take a break.
