Day 9

Getaway had done it. He finally did it. And

Between all the remaining tributes, the only one he concluded could kill Abbachio was Sarge, and the only one could kill him, and Money Spider was the only one who wanted to. That gave him an idea. If it failed, he'd do it himself.

The only thing Getaway had to do was give Money Spider a call and suggest he take control of Sarge and then kill Abbachio. All he had to do was sit back and watch, waiting half a day before Abbachio was finally no more. And he didn't even have to pull the trigger.

Getaway pulled a hologram Nightmare, it's Getaway. Abbachio is dead.

I saw. I guess I was right to hire you. Anyways, keep a monitor on the sitaution, and then return once the games have concluded

"Really? I didn't know you could actually win stuff in the Hunger Games." As she's talking she starts writing stuff down in her sketchbook.

Twenty-three-and-a-half seconds of silence passed in between the entire party. After this ridiculously specific time, daisy just said, "Okayyy~!" and bursting into laughter, blushing.
Her father sighed in relief and even Ichabod was chuckling a bit as well, fully aware of what those words meant.
"...Welp-" 1.0 said before opening a portal and walking through it, only for 2.0 to stop him by biting his tail, "-Sh...ucks."

The Meetings

Again, before Billy can leave for Detective Gamechanger's base on his own, he has to do his meetings. After he finishes with 6k1 and Ichi, he'll move on to Mett and Hassel, before finally concluding with Elliot. He wants to let them all know about his plans, as well as have them all help with the trip to Voidlands between him, Dave, and Detective Gamechanger.

First with 6k1, Billy responds to her, "Thanks for the number. Anyway, as for the journey, I'm sure we will be able to survive through it. We have many resources at our disposal, and for me, I also have my tributes to help. I'm going to call you and Power back once my journey with my allies is over." He soon finishes the meeting.

Then with Ichi, Billy responded to him, saying, "While it would be better if you help me and my allies by going to the Voidlands directly, I appreciate your help as it is nonetheless. To repay for your assistance, I can offer you upgrades to what you have, including your base."

After doing both, he immediately starts another meeting with Mett. While he has known Zoe, it is the same situation with 6k1. He knows their partner, but not the nominator themselves. Also, after seeing 6k1 and Ichi's reactions to his realistic projection just appearing there, he decides to do it in a less intruding way. With Mett, he first appears on his front door, greeting him there and asking if he can have a meeting with him. Before that however, Billy sends a message to his clone. He also has a thought about getting the Stand Arrow and stab himself with it after the meeting, shortly before the trip.

After the clone receives the message, he obliges. It is to meet with Hassel. Again, the projection is projected to the front of Hassel's base, greeting Hassel and asking for an access to it, as well as stating the reason for the meeting. Again, Billy hopes those two will be going into the Voidlands too or at least help Billy. His clone also has a plan to get stabbed with the Stand Arrow too, as Billy said too.

Billy's Mansion, Medical Room

Meanwhile, the revival is being started now after Abbacchio's death. While his soul was cursed by Satan for what he did in the Game, which Abbacchio actually did for his safety and necessity rather than pure malice, his body is there. After it is recovered by the Peacemakers, the body is sent back. There, it will be revived alongside Judy's body, which was skinned by Nagito after her death.

For the process, Judy's skin will be remade from scratch first with Billy's techs and some magic. After her skin is put back carefully after being finished, she has her body's condition restored first due to decay from death, before it is filled with blood again, as well as drugs to help the revival process. After that, her organs are all restarted, with the heart being made to beat again, and the brain stimulated, before her soul is returned to her through magic. She is revived after almost two hours.

As for Abbacchio, the clone of Billy, who oversees the process from his HQ, allows the head doctor responsible to have Giorno restore Abbacchio's body. Giorno arrives after a female servant, named Kayla, who has the same space related powers as George, brought Giorno immediately from where he is through her magic, rather than bothering with tech. Giorno quickly restores Abbacchio's body in few minutes using (regular) Gold Experience, before Abbacchio's vital functions are restarted. After that, the magicians and sorcerers working on it use their magic to free Abbacchio's soul. They travel to Hell in spiritual form rather than physical, carrying items with their soul to ward evil, before meeting with Satan. They bargain with him for almost an hour, even reminding Satan about how Maleficent defeated him two seasons ago during the bargain, as some kind of a threat about what they will do if he doesn't accept. Satan concedes eventually, and he frees Abacchio's soul from the curse, allowing his full revival.

After both tributes are revived, they are brought to the Tributes Village and subjected to the standard procedures as usual. They are also briefed about the Voidlands and a trip to it. After that, all of Billy's tributes, except Cioccorrita, all train in the Training Room, to prepare them all for the trip that will happen shortly.

Back in the HQ, the clone sees brief descriptions of the Federation of Kendor. It is a large nation in a galaxy, though it also has small territories in the satellite galaxies of the galaxy that Kendor is in. It is a democracy, with meritocratic system. It's economic system is capitalist, though it is more of a social democracy, a bit like The Federation. The people there care for each other, and the government likewise cares for the people, so it doesn't have too much corruption even though the nation has huge corporations. Those corporations are also subject to regulations too and control to prevent them from being able to take over the government. It is also pretty advanced, having techs that allow travel to other universes. Magic also exists in the universe where Kendor is too.

Det. GC's Base

The detective sees that the current season is winding down and thus prepares his next tribute. He looks at the USB with the copy of the Hunger Games database in it. He actually had a second USB with the data on it just to be safe after copying the one 6k1 sent him. He finds a spare robot and puts the original USB in it to transfer the data. He then calls 6k1.

Hello, 6k1? It's me GC. Letting you know I've put the database data into a robot and am sending it to you so you can see it off as it's your data and all. Don't worry about the thing's appearance, I was originally going to use it for Halloween.

He then opens a small portal for the robot that leads to 6k1's building and the robot enters. Upon arriving outside the building the robot busts its way to where 6k1 is, leaving massive holes in the walls and ceilings. 6k1 would find herself face to face with a skeletal, robotic version of Power Stroke.

Hassel's Headquarters

Instead of Scientist Hassel answering to the call, it's Ribey who answers the call.

"My name is Ribeyrolles, the head of the facility. Unfortunately, Scientist Hassel has fell into coma, he has failed as a scientist and he wouldn't be available for now. If you need anything, please speak to me instead."

She speaks to Billy via a phone call as she's preparing to convert Scientist Hassel into yet another Ribeyrolles unit.

Having been abused by her handlers for too long, once she has taken over the facility, the first thing she does is to unleash her inner mad scientist and tampers with deceased tributes, trying to convert them into Ribeyrolles units so that she doesn't have to die personally anymore.

Underground Bunker, Computer Room

Ichigo grins when Sarge both wins the season and ties for most kills, relieved that Skarlet wouldn't be his only tribute for the upcoming Murderers' Death Battle. While he was initially worried that the Red Team's leader would meet the other Sarge's fate, he was thankful that that ultimately wasn't the case. With that, he sends in two folks who'd likely feel right at home in the Arena: Cletus Kasady aka Carnage and his partner in crime, Frances Barrison aka Shriek.

Afterwards, he types up a quick email and sends it to 6k1.

Seeing as the season's reached its conclusion, would now be a good time for me to visit Power and see her new art school? I'm in no real rush, so if you'd rather I wait a little longer, you'll hear no complaints from me.

Susie has just recovered Bandana Dee, horribly injured from his stint in the Battle Royale. She rushes into Dee's pad, where King Dedede, Kirby, and the others finished their current season, and declares to heal him.

Meanwhile Magolor is exploring a strange cave. He then runs into a corpse of a child not too dissimilar from Lucas, except that he has orange hair and a black jacket.

Near to it is a single sunflower, lit from sunlight breaking through the ceiling. Interested to how such a thing could happen, Magolor picks it and puts it in a pot, before fleeing the scene.

The Database Library, Conference Room

6k1 thanks Billy for his time and bids him farewell and good luck as his hologram disappears, making the same warping noise as when he appeared. She then gets the call from GC about the Database robot, and the bot promptly arrives and destroys the door once the call ends.

The Databot◊^A/N Pony Town's my preferred pony creator for this, but it doesn't have options to adjust the body type or markings, so I had to improv with the "clothes" for the latter. Additionally, it's supposed to be completely gray as it's not yet painted, but I came up with this design before GC told me that. locks its eyes on her, its horn emitting steam from the laser blast. Mother?

6k1 just stares at the bot. "M-my child?"

She's still surprised that her "child" will be fighting in the Games, but she assures to herself that the real Database is safe in the basement.

Searching Database for Season 54 data. The bot's eyes turn brown as it performs its function. Season 54 data not found. Only Seasons 1 - 14 available.

"I'm so sorry for not updating you for quite some time. Mommy got so caught up with other work-related stuff so she only had time for routine maintenance."

Season 54 start?

"Oh, right. But first, I need to charge you. Is there a manual for you?"

The bot prints out the instructions from its mouth. 6k1 reads them and leads it to the nearest outlet. She unscrews the horn and plugs the bot with a spare cable to it. The bot's eyes turn yellow as it charges, and about an hour later they turn green.

Battery: 100% Its eyes turn back to gray when 6k1 unplugs it.

"Are you ready?"

Affirmative.

6k1 leads the bot outside the library to send it off, her employees giving it stares as they look around at the damage it caused. After wishing the bot good luck, she calls the maintenance department for repairs before going back to the basement.

The Database Library, Basement

6k1 writes the letters to Prince Rutherford and Yona, hoping that they don't get too mad if they die early, given their species' temper. She then turns on the feed to see the Databot walk up to the podium. It's immediately followed by roughly 46 million citizens from the East North Central States.

She receives the email from Ichi and replies: Not this season, as the Arena's a little... too crowded right now.

"Eh, you're cool," Elliot 2.0 said, "I get pretty excited as well."

Fire Mountain, Voodkin Island

   "How punctual of you, messenger."   
"So it really is you! I thought you died during the explosion in the underworld.."
a tall, stocky figure laughed to himself.    "You think that's all it would take to get rid of me?"    he asked.
The messenger didn't respond.
   "I told you, son of a scribe,"    continued the figure,    "I'm the fastest there's ever been!"   
"Release the Phobekins now, and begone, Demon, or I'll defeat you again!"
   "Oh, I wouldn't drag you all the way out here just to lose to another duel!"    the Demon said as he pulled a seed drawing in a purple substance from the Phobekins from his pocket,    "See this? It's almost done absorbing Voodoo Energy, and when it's ready, you will see who has the last laugh!!"   
"Voodoo Energy?" The Messenger asked, sort of confused.
   "In this land, fear can be... converted,"    explained the demon,    "And when it comes to fear, these little guys are an endless supply.   
The phobekin all trembled in sheer fear.
   "In order to fully charge the magic seed, I need to scare them good,    the demon continued to monologue,    "To that effect, I should thank you for stepping right into my trap. And by trap, I mean the VOODOO ALTAR!!!"   

The demon brought into light the altar to the side of the both of them. It was supplemented with totem poles and adorned with diamonds and feathers.
The demon hit the ground with his staff, and the altar activated, filling it with purple fire and entrapping The Messenger in purple magic.
   "Now, don't move, messenger!"    the demon boasted,    "It's not like you could anyway!"   
The demon laughed as the messenger was brought to the altar and the the fire went absolutely bonkers before a shadowy figure materialized and The Messenger was brought back to his original spot, free to move again, but choosing not to.
   "Alas,"    boasted the demon,    "The Dark Messenger is born!"   
"...Oh, no," The Messenger said as it dawned on him about just what happened.
   "OH, YES!!"   , the demon continued to gloat,    "WHAT'S MORE IS THAT HIS SWORD CAN RIP ACROSS DIMENSIONS OF REALITY! Messenger, demonstrate!"   
"You won't get away with this!" declared The Messenger as he raised his sword, but his shady counterpart was one step ahead of him and, as promised, ripped open a new portal in which The Messenger threw himself into. His protector, noticing this, quickly teleported into the new dimension as The Dark Messenger closed the portal, leaving them both stranded in the Capitol Hall.
   "Oh,"    the demon said,    "But I already have.   

Underground Bunker, Computer Room

As he reads 6k1's email, then witnesses the addition of the Databot as a representative for the entire goddamn Database, Ichigo mutters something about GC's tendency to nominate outlandish and/or huge group tributes (the two often seemed to go hand-in-hand when it came to that guy) before typing up a response.

Lemme guess: it's got something to do with that robot pony who looks an awful lot like Power if she were a Terminator, or the Databot as my computer's calling her, isn't it? Well... that's completely understandable. Rest assured, my friend, I'm patient enough to wait as long as I need to for that visit. Keep up the good work you're doing at the library, by the way, and, uh... apologies in advance if Carnage and/or Shriek wind up mauling that adorable, nerdy little pony-bot who's basically an avatar of, like, your entire life's work.

He then arranges for two deliveries to be made: one being a few upgrades for 6k1's computer systems that should make the Database process information a helluva lot faster and make her life easier, the other being a book about famous human artists (Leonardo Da Vinci, Vincent Van Gough, Pablo Picasso, etc) for Power to read all about.

Library database, Entrance

A mysterious figure entered the Library. He was wielding a trident and wore a short cape with an hood, covered in blood. One could clearly see very big wounds on his body that was slowly healing. The scientist at the front desk was quite intimidated ans as the figure approached him, he said nervously. "Sir...? Are you alright?"

The figure sighed before taking the hood off.    "I'm covered in blood, I literally have scars all over my body and the only thing you have to said is "Are you alright"? Now get that stupid smile out of your face before I rip it to shred myself."   

Recognising the figure that was thought to be dead, the scientist screamed before getting out of the library. When Scipion went talking to 6k1 before, he usually sneaked in the building unnoticed as he didn't wanted to cause trouble for nothing. The only time he showed up openly was to simply kidnapp and/or kill anyone he wanted inside it. The fact that he was thought to be dead, the recent events and his new appearance covered in blood didn't helped either.

The Zoroark casually ignored the people around him, screaming.    Ugh. Another reason why humans are dumbasses. They just have to see a bit of blood and they run for their lifes. Weaklings...    he thought. Sometimes, he hissed at the poor people who accidentaly ramed into him before throwing them like rag dolls out of his way. He clearly had other things to do than to take care of them.

Once he reached the basement, he crushed the door, revealing himself to 6k1.    "6k1? Glad to see that you're alive. Don't mind the door, I'll build a new one for you and the clean staff should be able to clean the puddles of blood that I left. Yeah, I'm alive and I'll explain everything before I'll join the others into the Voidlands, mind if I take a seat?"

Hassel's Base

Billy's clone projection, responding to what Ribeyrolles said, responded with, "I have seen what happened to him, as I competed in the same season as him and rewatched it once I returned. I can say that even if he suffered a fate like that, he is not useless. I am sure he can serve a more useful purpose once he is revived. In fact, I can use my technologies and magic to revive him. I have a lot of resources at disposal, for I am a CEO of one of the largest corporations in my home nation, The Federation of Kendor. It also has research as one of the main sectors of our business, so I am sure Scientist Hassel can work there. If you still do not believe me about the revival, then I can say I have revived all my tributes back to their original body successfully. They do not get housed in a new body, like a robotic one." Billy's clone did boast slightly at the CEO part. However, he is not aware of what is truly happening between the base yet. He is outside now with his holographic projection, while holding a phone at the same time, but then again, he can just forcefully barge in by reprojecting himself inside.

Then, before Ribey can continue, Billy's clone adds another, "Anyway, I come here to meet the nominators and talk about a realm called the Voidlands, as I am planning to make a trip to there. I try to see if any nominator want to help me with it by giving some resources or even going there too."

Meanwhile, in another place, Billy himself nominates Ray Billings and Michael Oates. Odd choices of tributes, but then again, Billy nominates as he wants for fun, which means any kinds of tributes.

Then, Billy tries to call Mett outside of his base with his projection, after nominating earlier. He shows up in front of the base's door, and greets Mett, introducing himself, "Hello Mett, my name is Billy. I am a nominator like you. I want to talk about something with you. By the way, I have met Zoe before in the Nominator's Party back then."

The Fight Goes On

Loki was capable of reading Brightburn's mind, trying to find out if he had any weakness. He couldn't exactly find any, but he did come up with a plan...

Loki: Okay, I think I've managed to figure out a way to defeat him, but i'm gonna need you to provide a distraction.

Thor: Alright fine, who is distracting him?

Spiderman: Can I do it? I'd like to help.

Iron Man: I'll do that, hey kid, do me a favor and get out of here, this is too dangerous for you.

Spiderman: But... Mr. Stark...

Iron Man: That was an order! Go somewhere safe, I'll tell discount Merlin over here to open a portal for you to go home.

Strange: He's right, kid, this is not your fight.

Just like that, Strange opened a portal, sending Peter back to New York and closing it as soon as Peter was back in the city. Peter was frustrated but the other Spidermen comforted him quickly.

Spiderman: Aw, man!

Miles: Peter, hey, it's okay, I too had to go through this before, believe me when I say that it was for the best.

Gwen: The best we can do now is wait for them to come back, and see if we can figure out what brought us here and if anything else was transported.

Meanwhile back with the heroes, Brightburn was getting the upper hand on Iron Man, Thor and Hulk. Dr. Strange and Loki, however, had a plan to defeat him. Just as Brightburn had overpowered and pinned down Iron Man, he saw a strange figure coming towards him... It seemed to be his deceased mother, which he had killed himself.

Brightburn: Mother, how are you alive?!

Mother: I've come here to bring you home, stop this madness, Brandon.

Brightburn: No! The Earth is mine to rule, and if you get in my way I'll kill you again!

Brightburn then rushed forward with his super speed and held his "mother" by the neck, only to see her transform into Loki.

Loki: Surprise!

Brightburn: Ha, did you think your little trick would've worked?

Loki: Actually, yes, but I wasn't the one killing you in this plan.

Brightburn: Wait, what?

Just then, Hulk rushed towards Brightburn punching him hard enough to disorient him and breaking one of his legs as well causing him to drop Loki, Tony then launched parts of his armor to restrain his limbs Strange then opened a portal and allowed Hulk to shove Brightburn into it, finally closing it quickly cutting the evil alien in half across the abdomen, instantly killing him.

Hulk: Puny alien.

Iron Man: Alright, somebody's gotta clean up this mess, on both sides of the planet.

Dr. Strange: Don't worry, I got that covered.

Just then Loki and Thor came to the scene and informed them of what he saw, apart from Brightburn's weakness.

Loki: I've finally figured out where he came from and... You won't like it.

Thor: Let's just say we finally found Thanos... But he's not alone...

The two then explained the Legion of Doom that Loki saw on Brightburn's memories and that Thanos was a part of it.

"Bingo! If two species hate each other, they will wipe each other out on their own."

The Database Library, Basement

6k1 takes a look beyond where the door used to be. She can see the elevator and the hallways leading to the other sections of the basement. The elevator was also busted open since a key card is required to enter this floor.

She sighs. More work for the maintenance department, then. At least there are stairs as per the building code.

"I would move this unexpected meeting to the conference room like with Billy last time, but it's under repair since the Databot destroyed the door."

She fills Scipion in on what it is then gets a chair for him. She also saves her work before turning off the computer.

"Anyway, what brings you here today?"

This is the very same nominator who killed her after the Nominator Games. The same one who caused the Great Destruction of the Original Timeline. And while she has known him since OT Season 229, she still doesn't know what to think. Just what exactly does he want from her?
