So Bad, It's Horrible is one of the more flame-bait-y parts of the site, so a cleanup thread is needed to ensure that works aren't added simply because someone doesn't like them.
If you want to list a work under this, keep the following in mind:
- The work must have very few fans or defenders (both genuine and ironic). It should fail to appeal to any type of audience.
- Being offensive in its subject matter isn't enough.
- It isn't horrible just because a certain critic disliked it, though their reviews can be used as sources and citations.
- The work should have notably poor reviews (e.g., less than 3/10 on IMDb, or single digit scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
- For a Moral Substitute to qualify, it cannot even appeal to its target demographic.
- Please be polite while writing and as much as possible, avoid falling into Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Instead, focus on explaining why the work is horrible.
In addition, per No Recent Examples, Please!, a work must be at least one month old before it can be added, to prevent knee-jerk reactions.

Do we have proof of that? I don't doubt it could happen but if they got good reviews, I would trust there are some legitimate audience reviews, or at least people who are biased favorably because the movie reinforces a position they think is edgy and brave.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I think if something has been proven to have gotten much/all of its positive reception from Astro Turfing, it can still count as SBIH — just as long as that really is where the positive reviews are coming from (there are some examples on Horrible.Literature mentioning books on that list getting positive reviews on sites like Amazon which were pretty clearly coming from the author's hometown, if not actually being written by the author or their friends/family members themselves).
Cold turkey's getting stale. Tonight I'm eating crow.Unfortunately, I have no doubt in my mind that an anti-trans thing is getting legitimate positive reviews based solely on the fact that it's an anti-trans thing. On that same token however, we can't just decide that certain reviews "don't count". It might be utter crap, but if it's doing a thing to appeal to its target audience then it's not SBIH.

No. A Couch Gag isn't a work, The Simpsons is the work.
Really, that segment shows some of John Kricfalusi's strengths (wild and imaginative poses that accentuate movement and mood while still being recognisable) and his flaws as an animator (thinking that expressive animation overrides any need for story or setup instead of them working together, not thinking about whether a gag is appropriate for the show or the character). It's badly flawed, but not Horrible.
Stories don't tell us monsters exist; we knew that already. They show us that monsters can be trademarked and milked for years.Remember to summarize the contents of links and videos.

I got a rock for Halloween.Basicallt, the John Kricfalusi-created Simpsons Couch Gag had ugly visuals which turn the Simpsons barely unrecognidsable and annoying SFX, basically the worst of Kricfalusi's excesses.
It still is just part of a larger work, which we don't really count as SBIH. The closest are songs, but a song can be listened to separate from the work itself. Something like a Couch Gag is still considered a scene.
If it's just a small segment of an otherwise non-horrible work, you can add it to Dethroning Moment of Suck.
There was a Simpsons short listed at one point that was removed partly because it's not really standalone, and the same metric applies even more so to parts of an episode (which a Couch Gag ultimately is).

Basically an event sold as a live Willy Wonka Experience used AI in advertising to make a rather barebones and empty event seem more lively then it was, to the points cops were called on it. Seems like a lock for this.

I know Twitter is hardly a reliable source
, but just look at the promotionals
shared online and on its website
. The art is clearly AI.

Came here to mention this. We should wait for the month-long grace period as it JUST happened, but it seems it will be a shoe-in.

Kinda late (several years, in fact), but this is the first time I've heard of this example. If West Wing Story was actually a stand-alone short and not just a clip from an episode of The Simpsons, then it could be considered a work on its own rather than just an episode or scene. Animated and Live-Action Films examples allow movies that are part of non-horrible TV shows (The Avengers, It's Pat!, Pound Puppies and the Legend of Big Paw), so West Wing Story could be considered the same thing, just much, much shorter.
...One made by a professional, though. Which matters.
Not that this means anything, given we can't put it up anyway.

Anyway, here's a work I proposed months ago, but never did a proper write-up for.
- The Uncanny X-Men for NES is often labeled as one of the worst games in the system's library, and for good reason. Outside of its obvious flaws such as terrible music and ugly graphics, with a drab color palette and playable characters that barely resemble the classic superheroes, the game's major issues are in its gameplay. While players can choose between six characters, none of them are any good, with the Button Mashing-based combat causing them to constantly lose health due to the poor range of their attacks, and poor collision detection detection not helping matters by making projectiles useless as well. In single-player mode, the player will be accompanied by an AI-controlled partner who suffers a great deal of Artificial Stupidity by hardly ever attacking the enemies and constantly running into obstacles, not helped by the poor level design. The Angry Video Game Nerd reviews it here
. Questicle gave it an F-
and later named it the third worst game on the system
. The Video Game Critic also gave it an F-
, the only NES game so far to get that rating. Seanbaby placed it third
on his list of the worst NES games, while PatTheNESPunk gave it 1 star out of 5.

I was under the impression we treated The Red Ape Family as akin to a streaming-exclusive show because it was purchasable as an NFT and thus sold for profit, unlike Youtube series that are typically released for free. From what I can tell, West Wing Story was released online as essentially a promotional short music video. I'd consider it an extension of The Simpsons rather than a spinoff or adaptation like those listed films.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

It should also be noted that it did get positive reviews from a few right-leaning outlets, namely The Washington Times and Christian Toto.
Regardless of how reviled it is by everyone else, there is unfortunately a niche for all kinds of deviancy.
