Trimdown of the WWE entry before moving to Snark Bait:

Does the soundtrack to Yoshi's New Island qualify? Youtube uploads have lots of dislikes and it has become Snark Bait due to Video Game Dunkey, Vinesauce, and others. I'm unsure if it meets the quota for panning from professional critics.

It depends on if it's the entire soundtrack or just a few tracks, like the Yoshi's Island DS castle music (especially compared to the original game's).
There's been a crackdown on video game music lately so those vids might disappear soon, and then we'd have no view counts. I think it might just be Snark Bait due to kazoo abuse.

Yeah, the kazoos are definitely Snark Bait.
This needs expansion, if it even qualifies.
It's in progress, it looks like, so I say cut it.
So I got ready to write the entry for the Hyundai suicide ad, only to find some people in the comments of the YouTube upload (imo quite awful people, though this is beside the point) that think people are being wimpy about the ad, it is masterful Black Comedy, and suicide victims should grow up. Is this just typical G.I.F.T. or do we have another Gillete ad on our hands?
The comments section here is overwhelmingly positive. I myself personally don't see what's bad aside from the slightly (not "extremely") off key singing and the no helmet.

Also moving Promotions from Other to Advertising.
I don't know much about African Salaryman, but I remember seeing a clip posted on Reddit, and comments seemed to be mostly positive.
EDIT: This is the Reddit post I was talking about. People seem to at least like the dubbed version.

Any thoughts on the Hyundai ad yet?
So, can we safely call this thread dead?
I've come to resurrect it I guess.
Hmm, Hyundai ad... well, if people happen to genuinely like it and there are enough of these fans to permeate the YouTube comments, it's probably just popular enough to make it out of the SBIH ranking.
Not sure if this is necessarily related, but there are several wicks for this in non-Darth Wiki pages.
I'm removing the wicks in trope examples, but I'm not sure if it's OK to have them in trope descriptions. I'm also unsure about this example from Creepypasta:
Are In-Universe examples of SBIH acceptable? There has to be a different trope that could be used in this situation.
The "universally-panned" part sounds like SBIH to me, pending a better trope.
Would Playing with Fire with John Cena be a good candidate for SBIH?
It finished third at the box office and got a B+ audience score on Cinema Score, so I’m not sure.
79% audience score on RT.
Chalk it up to Critical Dissonance?
Maybe. It's definitely disqualified from SBIH.
It's been a month since WWE 2K20 came out and the bugginess is still there, and patches introduced a new save corruption bug.

may qualify now. Awaiting a second opinion.
Not completely familiar with the game, but it does sound pretty bad due to the programming issues.
Fallout First was added back to Horrible.Video Games Other.

How well does it match the trope?
