So Bad, It's Horrible is one of the more flame-bait-y parts of the site, so a cleanup thread is needed to ensure that works aren't added simply because someone doesn't like them.
If you want to list a work under this, keep the following in mind:
- The work must have very few fans or defenders (both genuine and ironic). It should fail to appeal to any type of audience.
- Being offensive in its subject matter isn't enough.
- It isn't horrible just because a certain critic disliked it, though their reviews can be used as sources and citations.
- The work should have notably poor reviews (e.g., less than 3/10 on IMDb, or single digit scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
- For a Moral Substitute to qualify, it cannot even appeal to its target demographic.
- Please be polite while writing and as much as possible, avoid falling into Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Instead, focus on explaining why the work is horrible.
In addition, per No Recent Examples, Please!, a work must be at least one month old before it can be added, to prevent knee-jerk reactions.

Specifically, I say we should disqualify works made only by children. If it stars children but was produced by adults, then it still counts.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I am extraordinarily wary of adding yet more rules to So Bad, It's Horrible. That description needed de-bloating multiple times in the past. How many of these works actually get reviewed (which is implicit in one of the criteria)?
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman
Well, what do you think should be done about works made by children being allowed? I know the description is cluttered, but this is one rule I am willing to bite the bullet and add.
I have to admit, regarding the example in @3357 if it really gained this much attention then it's probably a fine example to list - I'd imagine that normal kiddie fare seldom gains much attention. Or in other words, I am not persuaded we want a general exclusion list at all. And coming to think about this, it should probably be done in TRS rather than here.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI personally think we shouldn't include things like kids playing a song for a school or so or for fun, since it just seems too mocking unless the kids themselves express regret for it later. If it's professionally made with adult help (e.g. Black Out Band, Mishovy(?), Jenna Rose) then it definitely counts.
In regards to Musicians, I hate to sound like a broken record bringing it up again but I really don't think we should have Chris-chan included. Aside from seeming like a drama magnet, I don't think Chris' music is even that known outside of the drama around her. Listing Sonichu on Webcomics already seems like enough in my opinion.
even before the controversy I always found Chris' entries on the page So Bad, It's Good. Also I agree with the sentiment that works entirely made by children do not qualify.

Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkI believe that works created solely by those under the age of 16 years should not be included for the same reason why the Darwin Awards exclude those committed by those under the age of 16 years.
Kirby is awesome.Remind me, where is the Chris-Chan example? I am sure it won't fit but I want to confirm.
It's worth noting that SBIH is not about the standards of professionals, and there is room between "art" and "horrible" such as So Okay, It's Average that a lot of kids' works will fall under. Also, the Darwin Awards are about actions that involve death or serious disfigurement, it's not a reasonable analogy for a list of works of fiction on TV Tropes.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard Feynman- The music of Chris "Chris-Chan" Chandler, the creator of Sonichu. Terrible lyrics too atrocious to incite laughter, shouted in an off-key monotone, and often out of sync, over random pop songs, without much care for the meter of the original. She rarely even bothered to get karaoke versions, let alone anything resembling a proper studio setup—songs were often recorded with the mic of a cheap camera, while the original played on her TV. Lowlights include a rewritten
"Paradise by the Dashboard Light" in which the two voices sound identical, a "Sonic Drive" rework
about Sonichu wherein the original is clearer than her vocals, and a total butchery
of "La Copa de la Vida" based on a beyond-juvenile understanding of the Spanish language (and history.) Her best known works are a straight cover
of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out for a Hero" (complete with video) with an obnoxious take on The Cover Changes the Gender, and "So Need a Cute Girl",
which uses "I Want It That Way" for a drawn-out pity party about being single that gives up on meter partway through the bridge. Not even Chris herself stands behind the latter anymore. In 2021, she came back with a cover
of "I'll Be Your Mirror", in a keyless falsetto (despite Nico's trademark tenor) that misses the melody entirely, with rewrites that change the meaning to its exact opposite, played dead-straight, though at least she found an instrumental version this time.
These sound legit, especially because Chris herself disowned one of them, so I don't think anything needs to be done here.

Most of the videos linked have a higher like-dislike ratio. I personally think they'd fit better in So Bad, It's Good.
She still goes by Chris for short, I think.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Someone readded Ronde even though we removed it a while back.

Please watch Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. https://youtu.be/Vm92JNgPbqkThis one from Horrible.Advertising is questionable, as it doesn't go too in-depth about it, and the one major problem it raises (unskippable and repeated showings) is far too common to be worth mentioning.
- To advertise Dream Corp LLC, [adult swim] made a series of YouTube adverts
consisting solely of six seconds of a man dancing with a sign bearing the show's logo. The worst part is that not only can you not skip them, but there isn't even a "Stop seeing this ad" option, meaning you can't bypass the lack of a "Skip this ad" button and stop seeing them for good.
Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
Yeah, pretty much any short ad on YouTube will have these problems. It's how the site is made, not the ad.
Questioning this example from Horrible.Music Other:
- While most will agree that Rush's song "Time Stand Still"
is one of their best songs, the video has next to no supporters because of how awful it is. The video shows the band and guest singer Aimee Mann flying around in mid-air through some studio and over some lazy chroma-keyed backgrounds, with next to no effort put into making it look at least mildly effective (which, considering the video's director Zbigniew Rybczyński was a researcher in this technique, makes this incredibly ironic). The video hasn't shown up on any of their DVD releases and the band remains unusually quiet about it, and the video continues to top "worst music videos ever" lists today.
Yeah, it's an awful video with Special Effects Failure galore, but I find it more amusing than anything. Plus, the song is good enough for most of the Rush fans I've seen to forgive it. The video has a few comments poking lighthearted fun at it. Though, I can also accept keeping it as one of those rare "both So Bad, It's Good and Horrible" cases.
This
was just added on the Comics subpage.
- The Dinosaucers comic reboot from 2018. Written by Michael E. Uslan, the same creator of the original cartoon but it's done in a horrible mess: They were trying to aim for a PG-13 rating, by making it Darker and Edgier, but it seems they also wanted to pander the new generation SJW, instead of people who still had fond memories of the tv show. The art is horrible, specially the first issues, looking like the artist wanted it to have a Jack Kirby style, but also, the character design is total crap, specially on the dinosaurs' part: unless they give you the name, you just can't identify the characters. This comic seems to have been cancelled after 5 issues, but it wasn't appealing anyone, not the old show fans, nor new fans and definitely not the Furry Fandom.
It doesn't actually explain what's horrible aside from the character designs, and the complaining about it pandering to "new generation SJW" is eyebrow-raising to me, especially with no elaboration and a claim that it's also Darker and Edgier. The editor's note mentions reviews but doesn't actually cite any in the edit reason or example.

- "I Admit" by R. Kelly is supposedly a song where he admits to all his wrongdoings and puts to rest the many, many alagations against him. In reality, it's a song that's that's 19 minutes of him bragging about himself and his acomplishments in a flat drone over an equally flat beat which he co-produced while he very poorly dismisses the alagations. He hardly admits to anything, and the ad libs are really out of place for such a serious song, taking all the emotion out of it. There is one bit near the end where he does sing with some real vocal ability, but it's not worth listening to the rest of the song to hear it. Listen to it here
.
Aside from the horrific grammar and formatting (it was added to the very bottom of the page), the video has more likes than dislikes and an overall positive comment section. Permission to cut?

Should we create a separate rule to disqualify works by children?
