So Bad, It's Horrible is one of the more flame-bait-y parts of the site, so a cleanup thread is needed to ensure that works aren't added simply because someone doesn't like them.
If you want to list a work under this, keep the following in mind:
- The work must have very few fans or defenders (both genuine and ironic). It should fail to appeal to any type of audience.
- Being offensive in its subject matter isn't enough.
- It isn't horrible just because a certain critic disliked it, though their reviews can be used as sources and citations.
- The work should have notably poor reviews (e.g., less than 3/10 on IMDb, or single digit scores on Rotten Tomatoes)
- For a Moral Substitute to qualify, it cannot even appeal to its target demographic.
- Please be polite while writing and as much as possible, avoid falling into Complaining About Shows You Don't Like. Instead, focus on explaining why the work is horrible.
In addition, per No Recent Examples, Please!, a work must be at least one month old before it can be added, to prevent knee-jerk reactions.

Crazy Luigi replaced a link to WesternAnimation. The Simpsons on Horrible.Advertising with one to WereStillRelevantDammit. The Simpsons. Not sure if that's an okay thing to do.

I don't know if it actually was. For one, they misspelled the title of the trope, and for another, it was a custom title so a pothole wouldn't be affected, unless they saw the custom title and tried to correct it the wrong way.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe. They seem to be a new troper, so I'm not surprised if they mistakenly decided to correct it the wrong way.
How's your day been? This is on Game Mods:
- Another WAD made infamous
by Doom Underground was "Wow
" (more popularly known by its filename, wow.wad), a 1999 Doom level consisting of a square room with a hanging body, a BFG9000 with full ammo, a Cyberdemon in a deep pit... and nothing else. Oh, and the inside of the pit is untextured, resulting in graphical glitches.note All of this is notoriously passed off as a mission to hunt and kill a wounded Cyberdemon trapped in an "illusio-pit." Problem is, killing the Cyberdemon won't even complete the level because it's placed in the wrong map slot, making it Unwinnable by Mistakeexplanation . "Wow" has since become one of the Top 10 Infamous Wads
. It even received a comedic remake for modern source ports titled "Wow: Enhanced
" which has a vastly expanded story, new music and superior visuals... but which is no more bug-free or winnable than the original. The original "Wow" can be viewed here
. It's the author's Old Shame for a reason: he was ten years old at the time, and went through a phase where he'd upload anything no matter how unfinished.
Although he got on the 10 most infamous wads list, should we be listing a ten year old's creation?
I've already had doubts about both Horrible.Game Mods and Horrible.Fan Games, since both are judging non-commercial amateur projects using the same standards as commercial works. It doesn't help that the latter page claims the same principle applies regardless, and both pages pull the No True Scotsman card by claiming the creators "aren't real fans".
I previously posted about this (probably using a more well-thought-out post, since I'm tired at the moment), but I don't remember when or which page it was on.

I got a rock for Halloween. This was recently added to Western Animation:
- Bunsen Is a Beast,is created by Butch Hartman, the same guy behind The Fairly OddParents!, but Don’t let the nostalgic art-style let you the series was hated for his nonsensical plots,Lackluster Adobe Flash animation and annoying characters that could give Western Animation/Caillou a run for its money.
Edited by fragglelover on Aug 19th 2021 at 10:45:47 AM
Given the YMMV page for it lists it under So Okay, It's Average, it's probably not SBIH
Yeah, Bunsen isn't SBIH. It's mostly regarded as a mediocre kids' show and would probably be shrugged off entirely if not for the guy who made it having a good resume.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'm not opposed to disqualifying works made by kids, but did the thread actually decide that they don't count?

I got a rock for Halloween. If it isn’t official policy for works by kids to be disqualified, then I wouldn’t be opposed to making it official policy, like the Darwin Awards does.
Y'ALL JUST GOT SHREKTI support making that official policy on the grounds that it could be considered a form of bullying towards children.

Works That Require Cleanup of Complaining | Troper WallI feel like it might already be policy, but I favor it anyway. Kids aren't professionals; judging their work by these standards is just unfair.
Working on: Author Appeal | Sandbox | Troper Wall
The movie at least had adults involved in the production. I think that should be our metric, hence why things like "My Jeans" or the "OMG" video could remain — adults were producing the music, and the former child stars have even spoken about how they were kept in the dark about the horrible elements. But things proven to be made entirely by children shouldn't count, because like, what do you expect?

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.Coming in to once again inquire about whether Final Fantasy Unlimited is a legitimate example. Aside from the entry as written being completely nonsensical, Unlimited still has a decent fanbase who, at the very least, don't find it to be entirely terrible.
