[down] I'll be real, I haven't watched an episode of My Life as a Teenage Robot yet, so my examples are just me rattling off assumptions / things I already know / stuff from her character page here. Still, I'll keep it as accurate as possible.

Strong Bad and Jenny Wakeman

Similar:

  • They're both prone to violence (Strong Bad being a wrestler-type character being a given, and Jenny being designed as a robot protecting the Earth also being a given)
  • With that aside, they still possess a sort of care once you get to know them.
  • Both are from an ambiguous place in the USA (Strong Bad being from Free Country, and Jenny... from a place oddly enough based on a city of Pennsylvania(???) if the wiki's to be trusted)

Dissimilar:

  • Strong Bad is not a robot (nor is he some kind of one)
  • Jenny doesn't have a pet-type character that accompanies Strong Bad
  • Jenny also doesn't have some sort of secret identity (Rule of Funny or otherwise)

[down]Mephiles the Dark and King Boo

  • In common:
    • Both are dark, evil, supernatural beings from video games.
    • Both do something terrible to the protagonist of the franchise (Mephiles kills Sonic until he is later revived, and King Boo traps Mario and his friends in paintings.)
    • Both have two different designs that they are often seen in (Mephiles has his "Shadow" form and his crystalline form, while King Boo has his scary look from the Luigi's Mansion games, and his look in the other games where he just looks like a normal Boo with a crown.
  • Not in common:
    • Mephiles is fully voice acted, while King Boo's dialogue is mostly written in text.
    • Mephiles was erased from history, while King Boo was not.
    • King Boo has appeared in several games, while Mephiles has only appeared in two main series games (Sonic the Hedgehog (2006) and Shadow Generations.)

Similar:
