The officer spoke into a walkie talkie/microphone, saying "You three, what happened here?"
Thinking fast, Phil leaned out the window on his van.
"I think the noise was me? I heard a bang I thought was from the engine and pulled over, was about to pop the hood and check when you turned up officer!"
With a smile he started getting the door open to go do the probably-redundant check to keep up appearances.
"Sorry if it may have startled some of the locals."
"Okay then," the officer said. "But those kids ought to go back home. We don't know why that Tyler disappeared, but it doesn't mean it can't happen again." The passenger-side door opened.note OOC: I wanted to make this person one of somebody's parents but I would like your permission first.
"Oh, uh..sure, I'll get on that officers." He said, as he then tried to get out of there before the questioning starts, trying to bring his bike with him.
OOC:Yeah sure you can use one of my characters parents.
John's mother stepped out of the car and stopped him. "John, I told you not to sneak out again! You had me worried."note OOC: I was thinking of retconning out John's mom but whatever it's too late now

"Oh..hey mom, you uh..I thought you said you were working late today..eh..hehe..sorry" John says as his voices goes quieter as he continued to speak, with it dropping to a whisper as he looked down at the ground in shame.
"I thought I told you no more monster-hunting. Come on, let's get home."
The officer opened the door. He said, "Not yet. I want the five of you at the station, so you can tell us the whole story." He gestured toward the back door of the car, wanting the three kids to come in.
Lilly pulls up the hood of her sweatshirt as walk the car. "Do we have to?", she asked while climbing to the back seat.
"Yes, Lilly. It's my job as both a cop and your dad to keep you safe; you know this." Then he turned his head toward Phil's van. "Is it working enough for you to follow or should we get it towed?" he asked as he directed the three into the police car.
Phil glanced up from his cursory look under the hood.
"Seems alright, nothing burst. I think it was just a bit of exhaust being a little forceful, I'm fine to drive."
Officer Pendragon nodded and went back into the driver's seat. John's mother went back into the passenger seat herself.

Great. Just great. I was enjoying my peaceful week at high school until this crap happened. Oh, almost forgot. I'm Lune Zoldark. Just your everyday high school girl who loves being fit. In fact, I love PE more than I love academics. Sadly, not a lot of guys want a tough girl it seemed. Oh, well. I'll find the right guy in time, I hope.
Just as I was about to head to the station on bike, I noticed a policeman and a worried mother confronting a group around my age, I think? Were they heading there already? As I needed to investigate this scene, I approached them with a friendly smile on my face.

John contemplated the factors of running away and fighting the man being manipulated by the lizard men, at least he thinks their lizardmen, they could be any hybrid of cold blooded animal really, but eventually he let out a sigh and entered the car for interrogation, wasn't as if he had a choice that wasn't an emotional ultimatum after all. "right then, let's get going."

Once he got everyone in the car, Officer Pendragon headed toward the police station. He didn't see the girl follow.
True to his word, Phillip was driving along behind in his van. Though as soon as there was time to do so, he'd definitely be writing this trip to the police station up in his logbook to make sure his superiors on the town council knew why he had failed to get to the Pendersons' house to 'fix' their wifi router today.
There were many things Phil hated about his job, but having to prove something to those smug old men who think every person under forty is an unrepentant slacker was definitely high on his list of peeves.
Unfortunately, the policeman didn't even notice me. Was he too concerned about his passengers? On the plus side, I got my evening exercise today.
I continued following the police car at a steady pace.

Cinna would be walking through the town when he was startled by a noise.
Something started approaching him.
The creature would get pretty close to Cinna. What was it? It looked like a cross between a dog and a rabbit.
??? (Terriermon): Oh, hi there!
He would see the commotion happening earlier, and decided to follow the police car too with Terriermon following him.
Is there a Discord server for this?

No, Cinna. However, we do have a thread in the Discussion subforum.
Once they were in Pendragon's office, he asked the two adults to take a seat while the teens were to wait outside until he called he in.
Paradox, I pass the role of John's mother to you.

As John and his mother waited outside, as well as the others. "So...uh"John was about to say but his mother cut him off. "John, you promised me you wouldn't do things like this anymore, you know how I worry about you." "....I know." the awkwardness in the room goes up at least two notches.
Drathe himself is waiting among the group, sitting down and keeping rather quiet, crossing his arms.
Phil sat down and immediately started jotting down the particulars of this visit to the police station in his logbook.
"Fairly peculiar occurrence. The whole 'being called in on a spot of car trouble' thing I mean."
He tried to put on a smile.
"Hopefully there isn't too much that needs doing, gotta get back on the job."
I arrived at the police station, fashionably late as expected. The officer told me to wait outside because I was just a kid.
Seriously?! I could take on most of the folk in my gym glass. In fact, I'm sure they needed to gang up on me just to stand a fair chance.
I grumbled and glanced at the others. I asked, "You guys stuck outside like me?"
