Don't send this to the morgue just because I have no suggestions, I really want this to improve.
While I agree that the "there are four lights" moment from Star Trek: The Next Generation is an example, to outsiders, it'd just look like an alien showing a man some lights and the man being Blinded by the Light.

Pull. The caption does all the work.

I am leaning towards pull. FFIW:
Weak Keep Until Better Image Suggested; anyone have suggestions?
Keep Until Better Image Suggested.
The caption is the actual dialogue from the episode. We don't wipe the text from webcomic images, and I feel using the caption to include the dialogue is basically the same thing.

We could look for a version with subtitles. Maybe drop the first line and swap the two shots, too. ("There are four lights." with the second image, then "I don't understand how you can be so mistaken." with the first image)

It's on Netflix, so someone could just pull up the episode and turn on subtitles.
See, in my opinion, captions should be supplementary. They shouldn't carry the weight of the entire image. An image should be able to stand alone with or without a caption, and this one can't. As such, the caption might as well be a page quote, since it's the only thing really doing anything.
I disagree that the caption is doing all the work.
You see the interrogator, with a variant on the "shine the light in the perp's face" thing going on. And you see the guy being interrogated, clearly suffering.
Maybe those things are clear to you, but they aren't as clear to me. It doesn't look like any torture is happening; the bottom guy looks uncomfortable, but that's it.
While I think it's fine for an image and caption to work as a team, since it's acceptable in many other mediums, I agree that the current fails to give me context.
