I don't think there ever will be a year when that happens. Our current legends may be dead, but new ones will come. Someone will come who will cure cancer or find a new sustainable form of energy or write a novel that changes the world. There will always be legends, even if the old ones die.
When the sun explodes, probably.
Well, that’d be jus’ a waste. Why would ya want to deprive the world of such anomaly as yourself? That’s not what “extinct” means.
To answer your question, I give it 5-10 more years for some of the major legends (David Attenborough, Betty White, Queen Elizabeth II, etc.).

Peace is the only battle worth waging. Now, I'm gonna assume that every legend was born on or before the year 2006. Assuming that everyone lives to be as old as the oldest person, all of today's and yesterday's legends should be extinct by 2128.
Don't worry, new legends are growing. Say what you want about Lady Gaga, for example (I don't care much about her, but she's doing a lot of stuff with gusto and making a name for herself), or scientists like Neil Degrasse Tyson, in time people will remember them as much as they do the past greats.
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisAs long as humans exist, there will always be famous people.
Metalhead here.
I'm witnessing lots of my favorite bands being disbanded and many of my favorite musicians dying. I'll always lament not being able to see Ronnie James Dio's last gig in Argentina or the farewells of Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne. 😭

But there will still be new ones to be born in the earth.
With the loss of great people (Like stan lee, stephen hawking etc,) each passing year
what will be the year all the great legends are gonna finally extinct?
