Opening. Seems like a description overhaul would be needed here.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanTo kick things off, here's my revised version at Sandbox.Planet Looters. Turned the paragraphs into bullet points where I folded complainy parts of the original second paragraph into a footnote and cut most of the third paragraph. Feel free to adjust.

That's five votes for the sandbox and no objections.
Fine with the sandbox.
"It's just a show; I should really just relax"Sandbox is fine.
You can't always get what you want.Okay, that's good enough; let's swap it in.
Update: Done. Sandbox is now cutlisted, so thread is finished. Closing.

Ok, so I'm reading the main description of Planet Looters and... what I find there is not necessarily a summary of the trope but rather paragraphs of complainy material describing contradictory info and criticisms of the trope, like "Why are aliens not targeting uninhabited planets for resources?" and the like. I don't know about you, but this is something I would usually see in a Fridge page under Fridge Logic. I think the trope description needs to be rewritten to describe the trope more properly without any of that unnecessary info getting in the way.
