Has anyone watched the show? It's based on scripts that the late Bruce Lee wrote for a TV show he would have start in back in the 60s or 70s but got changed into the TV show Kung Fu.

The 1st episode was a good start where we're introduced to Ah Sahm, a Chinese immigrant who has come to San Francisco during the Gold Rush to find a certain someone and joins one of the two powerful Tong gangs that control China Town. However, not only are there are tensions between the two Chinese gangs, the Chinese community is being attack by the Irish community, who resent the former for stealing their jobs and is led by a former Civil War veteran. Not helping matter is that the police is either corrupt, racist or incompetent, the Mayor has to please the rich tycoons who hire the Chinese and the fact the person Sahm is looking for is his sister, who we later find out at the end of the 1st episode, is now the wife of the leader of the other Tong gang and hasn't forgiven Sahm due to a bad past event in China that he caused.

Officer Lee and Penelope Blake might be the only truly good people on the show. Not only are they not racist (extra irony since Lee's from the South yet his family fought for the Confederacy), they also defend Ah Sahm when Big Bill arrests him for attacking "upstanding citizens" despite said citizens were drunk, racist Irish who attack Penelope and her Chinese butler. I wonder when Bill will have a Heel–Face Turn since according to Bruce Lee's script, Bill ends up being an ally of the hero.
