I'd need to see the suggestion at wiki size before giving it a firm but I definitely favor it over the current.

It may be some bias that I have against artwork, but I'm not really seeing the suggestion. That said, the current pic needs to go.
Current is bad and needs to rethink its life.
Suggestion is weak but still way better.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?Pull regardless of a replacement or not.
I'll wait to vote to see if any other suggestions come along. But pull regardless.
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?Current is bad.
If nothing else, 3.2 is an improvement. Can clearly see explosions on multiple parts of the building, and there's a large number of people camped outside.

3.2.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Pull current.
It's also not clear from the suggestions that it's the villains who are besieging the heroes, which is a crucial part of the trope
As an alternative, I suggest this Battle of Helm's Deep artwork:
It's a deviantart pic, so it might require a permission to use.

Spiral out, keep going.I've got a potential image here from a world raid in Dawn of the Dragons showing an image that could either be used for this trope or Storming the Castle. Thoughts on it?
The Rosers were red. The Drownies are blue. I know What the Thunder Said. Do you?As I said, the suggestion (a painting titled Siege of Burgos) was the result of a very quick Google search; I'm pretty sure we can find better options.
The current should go anyway, replacement or not.
Pull current.
(Annoyed grunt)Clock is set. Crowner?
Crowner.
Can we rethink our choices here? The Siege (aka Defend the Castle) is about the good guys trying to fend off the forces of evil. All examples so far better illustrate the opposite Storming the Castle. What's needed is a sympathetic view from the perspective of the besieged. Something like:
Added to the crowner.
Those are both good.
No caption discussion; locking up.

Nominations for replacement images:
That's... a really, really poor illustration. Straight to the "not even doing any effort to find a picture" category, in my humble opinion, you barely can tell what's going on here.
It's not as if you can't find a better picture, with, say, a five-second Google search.◊
