According to the definition: Pandering to the Base means fans asked something and the creators gave it to them. However, most of the examples of the page are cases of creators do what they did because the fans found it interesting, not because fans requested it. So I wanted to know. Fans needs to ask the creators for something to be a case of Pandering to the Base or just that they like and the creators exploited that like is more that enough to be an example of the trope?
