Antimatter Game's next multiplayer FPS title is going to be set in a Cold War gone hot scenario. Two teams of up to 40 players each (for a total of 80) will face off as either NATO or the Warsaw Pact, and this time a greater emphasis will be placed upon a persistent world. Think of the sector map from the previous two games, only this time on a larger scale, and with each multiplayer battle contributing to the overall success of your side.
Expect gameplay to be largely the same as the previous Red Orchestra/Rising Storm titles: as per their own words, firearms will be modeled with realistic recoil, handling, bullet drop, etc, infantry deaths will be quick and brutal, and communication will be necessary if you're planning to actually win a match. Air and ground vehicles were mentioned, but no specific details otherwise. I'd venture a guess that means helos, tanks, APCs, and maybe jeeps.
EDIT: Made some corrections

Actually SgtRicko, the most shocking thing to me about the game so far is the lack of any mention of Tripwire Interactive on their website.
Thus, I must assume the first sentence of your main paragraph is actually incorrect and Antimatter Games is doing this by themselves.
Don't blame ya though. It pretty much just sounds exactly like a bunch of RO2's unique points, but amplified!
