This ATT is debating how soon to add non-real life examples of Never Live It Down. It's by definition an unfairly gained reputation, but how long until we can tell if sticks in the eyes of audiences?
We had the same basic problem when people tried to remove sports examples under the Real Life 25-year rule.
Pro wrestling is a scripted work, so it falls under the same limit as any other scripted work. I think 3 months or so would be enough to weed out the immediate overreactions, we could always extend it if necessary.
(Why is NLID/Sports ten months again? Shouldn't we just make it a year?)
I think all non-real life examples of Never Live It Down should have at least a three-month waiting period. Examples involving fiction take much less time to develop and they don't attract the same level of Flame Bait real-life examples potentially could.
