This ATT is debating how soon to add non-real life examples of Never Live It Down. It's by definition an unfairly gained reputation, but how long until we can tell if sticks in the eyes of audiences?

[up]We had the same basic problem when people tried to remove sports examples under the Real Life 25-year rule.

Pro wrestling is a scripted work, so it falls under the same limit as any other scripted work. I think 3 months or so would be enough to weed out the immediate overreactions, we could always extend it if necessary.

(Why is NLID/Sports ten months again? Shouldn't we just make it a year?)

[up][up] I think all non-real life examples of Never Live It Down should have at least a three-month waiting period. Examples involving fiction take much less time to develop and they don't attract the same level of Flame Bait real-life examples potentially could.
