What to do about Playhouse 90?

Apologies for dredging up an old subject, especially something that was already discussed and resolved (though not acted on) at the time, but I'm thinking of resuming work on it, and I want to check and make sure I'm not doing something stupid (especially since I know rules have gotten tighter on the wiki in recent years).

Here is a forum thread from several years back in which I asked about creating a works page for an episode of the hour-and-a-half Genre Anthology series Playhouse 90. This is a dilemma because episodes like this seem to exist in a liminal space between ordinary TV episodes and Made for TV Movies: they are completely standalone stories of movie length, but they also have series apparatus like a consistent Title Sequence and an advertisement for the next week's episode.

The question was whether a page for an episode (specifically, the adaptation of Heart of Darkness that aired on 6 November 1958) should be treated as a standalone works page (with a url like Film.HeartOfDarkness1958) or as a recap page (with a url like Recap.PlayhouseNinetyS4E07).

Someone suggested that, while a recap page would be more logical, it would be acceptable to launch the page as a standalone and then migrate it after a series-wide works page, and associated recap index, were created.

But now occurs to me that systematic recapping of the series may never happen, simply because many Playhouse 90 episodes are (AFAIK) lost, several others (Requiem for a Heavyweight, The Miracle Worker, For Whom the Bell Tolls) are already acknowledged/included in works pages that already exist in the other namespaces, and the series as a whole is nichey enough that it probably won't get much Wiki Magic (even my interest is really limited to the one episode). It seems pointless to create a recap index that's going to remain mostly redlinks.

In short, I'd like to create works pages for the Heart of Darkness episode and for Playhouse 90 as a series, but I think it would be better to treat the Heart of Darkness page like a standalone work (in the Film namespace, like other TV movies), since recap pages for other episodes are probably never going to be a thing. Does this sound okay?

Edited repeatedly because I'm not good at formatting.

That sounds like a perfectly fine way to go about it, though I'd recommend maybe putting something like "Playhouse 90's" in the title.

Agreed that there needs to be disambiguation (since there is another, unquestionably standalone Made-for-TV Movie that would be the natural fit for Film.Heart Of Darkness). I'm not sure whether it would be better to do this by series title (Film.Playhouse 90 Heart Of Darkness) or by year (Film.Heart Of Darkness 1958).
