This is a thread for checking up on pages for works that have not been released yet, to make sure that they are not straying into rampant speculation or posting crazy behind the scenes spoilers. You can bring both individual examples or entire pages to attention here.
In extreme cases, any page can be locked, but hopefully that won't be necessary.
(As these pages often are hit with zero-context examples and shoehorning as well, all four - speculation, spoilers, ZCEs, and shoehorning may get addressed simultaneously.)
The policy governing this effort is Creating A Work Page For An Unreleased Work. Cleanup is being tracked using the Unreleased Works sandbox.
All pages for unreleased works should include a %% comment at the top of the page, confirming the policy and linking to this thread and the Administrivia page. It doesn't have to be exactly the same as the example provided here, but this provides a template to work with.
%% Speculative troping is not allowed on TV Tropes.
%%
%% We trope what DOES happen in works, not what MIGHT happen or is LIKELY to happen.
%%
%% For unreleased works where all we have to go on is advertising and other supplemental materials, we have some detailed guidelines, which can be found at Administrivia/CreatingAWorkPageForAnUnreleasedWork.
%%
%% NOTE - these rules also mean that unreleased works should only have one page image, and that image should NOT be changed again until the work is released.
%%
%% If you have questions, please consult the Unreleased Work Speculation Cleanup thread at https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15514631230A64268600

Giving this a bump because there's been some more disagreement about Superman & Lois, particularly after its page was cut. An ATT query was opened, understandably confused that the cut reason erroneously states that "it has no trailer nor release date".
The sticking point here is that the only available material is a single teaser that doesn't seem to have much footage from the actual show, which I would argue precludes it from having a page at the moment. (My point of comparison is The Green Knight, which also has a single teaser trailer but features about a minute's worth of footage from the film, functioning more like a standard trailer.)

Pinball cleanup threadI think cutting it was a poor decision, but given that it comes out pretty soon we could probably just wait for either a better trailer or the actual premier.
Going from "it needs a trailer" to "it needs a good trailer" is too slippery a slope. The fact that it didn't have three valid examples is an acceptable reason, but it still feels too delete-happy to me.

The definition of a "good trailer" would just end up being "one that we can get three valid tropes from," so it would just end up going in circles.
Super Mario 3D World already has a folder for Bowser's Fury, the new mode included with the Switch port that has not yet released. Nothing is cited and the folder also has a really low quality picture in it for some reason.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢I added citations to every example (aside from one that I deleted as misuse) and appended the commented-out upcoming work disclaimer to the top of the folder.
Pinball cleanup threadI found what I thought is speculation of this example from Titans (2018) YMMV page.
- Tainted by the Preview
- While the fans response to Jason finally becoming Red Hood was mostly positive, the character's official logline for season 3 made them worry about the execution of his Myth Arc instead. Jason donning the Red Hood persona because he becomes obsessed with taking down his old team generated waves of different opinions, from worried to down right negative because in the comics, The Joker and Batman were the ones who played a crucial roles in turning the character into an Anti-Villain, whereas the Titans were nowhere. Most of people think that hating the Titans and lack of personal history with them are very weak justifications to become Red Hood, given all the traumatic events Jason Todd went through in the comics by comparison with the show, as well his motivations. There is also the fact that Curran Walters himself heartfully waited to see how A Death in the Family and Red Hood: The Lost Days would be adapted to fit the show. The consensus is that Jason Todd was robbed of his most iconic storylines.

“What is that? It's The Unknown!”From my understanding of Tainted by the Preview's description, it doesn't require anything to do with the work's final release or the reaction to the final product.
Tainted by the Preview covers all those instances where the would-be audience for something yet to come out immediately decides it detests something about it, based on a preview, and starts complaining about it. Vociferously.
Mind you, they have no idea whether or not yet it's actually worthy of complaint — the project in question might be over a year away.
Oh, whoops. Well then I guess I just leave it.
“What is that? It's The Unknown!”As mentioned on ATT, Five Nights at Freddy's Plus (a game mod) doesn't have gameplay footage or a release date.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Plus The Remake is a zero-context example, and it should be listed under Fan Remake instead.
May I submit Power Rangers Dino Fury to the cut list? There's a trailer ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h31MJCYTB-E&ab_channel=PowerRangersOfficial ) but the page is a mess.
Yeah, it's bad.
This is another case of weird trailer. For the uninitiated, Power Rangers is adapted from an existing show, Super Sentai. The vast majority of the footage here is from the existing Sentai show. Except, if that footage gets used in the PR show, it still kinda counts?
Long story short, it's a pretty bare-bones trailer, that might have actually been made before they started filming. Also around 40 seconds you can see they used a fan-sub for some reason (this isn't really relevant, I just find it funny). I just don't see somebody getting 3 valid tropes from this without some real stretching.
The thing about green being switched from male in the Sentai to female in PR is true, but the trailer doesn't mention this. I don't know if any of the sources that do say it would be valid to cite, possibly not.
The air date is also currently just '2021'.
I happened upon Guilty Gear -STRIVE-'s page not too long ago. I commented out every untagged example and ZCE, but I'm not very knowledgeable on the series and don't presently have the time to go check every trailer to see which ones are valid. For now, I added a citation to one example and added the standard commented-out disclaimer to the page. I'm posting this here in case anyone who's more familiar with Guilty Gear is willing to help out.
Pinball cleanup threadIt looks like Balan Wonderworld was recreated, since the demo did provide enough material for it not to be a stub. The problem is, no one cited anything. I’m not sure I’m able to find the citations on my own, so does it need to get cut again?
(Incidentally, the troper who recreated it asked before hand, and I did make a point of citations being needed.)
SoundCloudGodzilla vs. Kong: example was hidden for "no context," though it seems a pretty clear-cut case to me.
Godzilla Threshold: Humans have taken Kong from Skull Island because he's their only hope to stop "what's coming," what with Godzilla in the midst of a Face–Heel Turn at the moment.
"We need Kong, the world needs him, to stop what's coming" is a prominent line in the trailer, and going to the effort of removing Kong from Skull Island to face whatever the problem is (heavily implied to be rogue Godzilla, but there's a certain ambiguity there) seems to me to be an open-and-shut instance of "things are so bad unleashing a giant monster can't possibly make them worse."
If that's not the case, can someone help me understand why it isn't? I very carefully phrased this one to avoid any possibility of Speculative Troping.

If the example does not come from the work itself, whatever advertising or adaptation it does come from needs to be mentioned.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here.Power Rangers Dino Fury now has a trailer and a release date but the recent examples are all uncited, speculation or ZCE.
The Awesome and Funny subpages also lists meta examples.
I think a good chunk of Power Rangers Dino Fury can come back. Several things that had been mentioned are seen in the trailer or on the official website, and are far from speculation—at the very least, they have the same amount of confirmation behind them as the much-more filled out page for Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger, which has had far less pre-release info and debuts several weeks after Dino Fury does.
- Breaking Old Trends: Izzy being a girl when green is known to be male in the sentai is evidence of the genderflip.
- Combining Mecha: The megazord is seen in the trailer.
- Recycled In Space: It is the fourth power rangers series with a dinosaur theme, due to the presence of dinosaurs in all pre-release materials and the name of the show.
- She's a Man in Japan: See above re:Izzy.
- Stock Dinosaurs: The main team's zords are listed on the website.
- Tyrannosaurus Rex: Zayto.
- Temper-Ceratops: Ollie.
- Tough Armored Dinosaur: Amelia (Ankylosaurus) and Javi (Stegosaurus).
- Panthera Awesome: Izzy.
- Two Girls to a Team: Amelia and Izzy are the only two girls listed as being part of the team.
- Brother–Sister Team: Javi and Izzy are listed as step-siblings in all pre-release materials.
- Passionate Sports Girl: Izzy is listed as an athlete on the website.
Until the work actually comes out, the examples need to cite their evidence. That goes for the other work as well.
Link to TRS threads in project mode here. Both She's a Man in Japan and Passionate Sports Girl are zero context.
Here's my entry for She's a Man in Japan that got deleted for apparent "ZCE" despite the context.
- She's a Man in Japan: Female Green Ranger Izzy takes the place of male Ryusoul Green Towa from Ryusoulger. Notably, this is the first time the trope has come into play since the Yellow Ranger was changed from male to female in Power Rangers Wild Force (and the first time it's been used with the Green Ranger rather than Yellow).

The trailer. If you count the official website and the actress herself, then those two.

This was why I asked what counted as a "significant amount of pre-release material" earlier, since some pages have a single trailer while others only have a single teaser.
Bayonetta 3 could easily be cut - Creating a Work Page for an Upcoming Work says that a game with a teaser trailer and no release scheduling is ineligible for a page.
I'm a little fuzzier on Superman & Lois, since it seems to fulfill the release scheduling & pre-release material requirement for TV shows (assuming for the moment that a single teaser trailer counts as sufficient).
(Page header edit for context: Superman & Lois has a teaser trailer that doesn't seem to show much footage from the actual series.)
