This is a thread for checking up on pages for works that have not been released yet, to make sure that they are not straying into rampant speculation or posting crazy behind the scenes spoilers. You can bring both individual examples or entire pages to attention here.
In extreme cases, any page can be locked, but hopefully that won't be necessary.
(As these pages often are hit with zero-context examples and shoehorning as well, all four - speculation, spoilers, ZCEs, and shoehorning may get addressed simultaneously.)
The policy governing this effort is Creating A Work Page For An Unreleased Work. Cleanup is being tracked using the Unreleased Works sandbox.
All pages for unreleased works should include a %% comment at the top of the page, confirming the policy and linking to this thread and the Administrivia page. It doesn't have to be exactly the same as the example provided here, but this provides a template to work with.
%% Speculative troping is not allowed on TV Tropes.
%%
%% We trope what DOES happen in works, not what MIGHT happen or is LIKELY to happen.
%%
%% For unreleased works where all we have to go on is advertising and other supplemental materials, we have some detailed guidelines, which can be found at Administrivia/CreatingAWorkPageForAnUnreleasedWork.
%%
%% NOTE - these rules also mean that unreleased works should only have one page image, and that image should NOT be changed again until the work is released.
%%
%% If you have questions, please consult the Unreleased Work Speculation Cleanup thread at https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/posts.php?discussion=15514631230A64268600
%%
%% Thank you.

Is it ok to make a folder for "Tropes that objectively appear in promotional trailers"?
Because that's just what happened on the The Addams Family (2019) page. All the commented out tropes were added to a folder that specifically states that they show up in the trailers and the folder should be treated separately from the movie itself.
I was given the okay for that in the other thread.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Yeah, it's being done as a test case.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessOh, OK then.
Since Nomad's recasting for Ghost Recon Breakpoint has been announced long ago and the game goes live on Tuesday, can I make a Trivia page for the game?
"what the complete, unabridged, 4k ultra HD fuck with bonus features" - Mark Von LewisWe're close enough that I'd prefer to wait anyway.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.A page was created for Ring Fit Adventure, but it’s problematic. There are noticeable ZCEs, and not one citation is given.
SoundCloudKamen Rider: Reiwa the First Generation was put on the cut list for a lack of tropes, but it looks like ~MrHeroes is making an attempt to add things. They do seem to be low-context, though, and a date of release is needed. Pinging them here and the cutlister, ~Silverblade2, to see if it can be salvaged.
Declining cut for now.
If they didn't put a date up, why keep it? They clearly don't have what is required to create the work page.
Origin Story is a Zero-Context Example. The Reveal doesn't cite source.
As far as I know only the sypnosis has been released but no trailer.
Because there is a date, from a quick Google. If they don't have official advertising, then OK, it can be cut. I didn't look into that part.
I found a movie poster and the synopsis (that's posted as the work page's description - possible plagiarism risk there), but as far as I know, that's about it.
I'd say cut the page until December rolls around; that should be about the time when the TV show starts hyping up its theatrical tie-in. (And even then, I'm not sure a work page is needed; tropes might be better off in the pages for the shows the movie spins out of).
This is for YMMV.Steven Universe. Considering it was just the intro, which was released yesterday, I feel this is way to soon to call it.
- With just a few frames, the opening of "Steven Universe: Future" already addresses the criticism that viewers had the past seasons:
- Some thought that Jasper's character arc was over at the end of Season 5, thinking she's redeemed because she's clearly shown to be on Homeworld in the movie. Her appearance in the opening shows that she's still a villain.
- Some thought that the minor gem characters were really underutilized throughout the show, the opening features several of them prominently alongside the humans and Diamonds. Also, the Rubies are shown for a split-second and the villain roster seems to have Aquamarine in it.
- Speaking of Aquamarine, she seems to have four legs and an unusual amount of red on her, indicating that this is a fusion with Aquamarine as a component. Some thought that an evil cross-gem fusion was an interesting concept that didn't get utilized enough, so one being part of the Rogues Gallery is a welcome change.

Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Cut those. All of those violate the rules against Speculative Troping.
They're gone.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Kyle & Lucy: Wonderworld just had a prequel minigame released titled Sondro Gomez: A Wonderworld Story.
It is not another demo, it's a complete minigame in the same vein as Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon. Therefore it is not "unreleased", so it is fine to trope it.
For now, I've added this to Kyle & Lucy's page, and I've made Sondro Gomez: A Wonderworld Story a redirect.
Reminder: future seasons of Steven Universe fall under the general speculation policy, not the unreleased work policy.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.Steven Universe: Future is a sequel series and thus a separate work, meaning it still falls under the unreleased work policy.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢Ah.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.is it? I thought it was just a fancier way to say "Season 6".
Ian JQ confirmed it as it's own thing.
Jawbreakers on sale for 99¢(This is another problem with distinguishing between "new season" and "new work". Where do we draw the line?)
Red Ash is a total mess. im not sure it's salvageable.
Migrated to Chloe Jessica! Is there even a release date?
Fairy Tail (2020) has no release date AFAIK. Motion to cut list.
