OK, here's where this thread is standing, with the unlocking:
Given the widespread backlash and complaining about certain aspects of the work (i.e. Dexit), we wanted to communicate very clearly what we are not willing to put up with: prolonged, circular complaining (or wonking).
Of course, with a controversial subject that has a large impact on the gameplay, Dexit is in one of those areas where there it may be on-topic to discuss it, but the nature of that discussion can wildly vary. As has been said elsewhere, we ix-nayed discussion of Dexit entirely because it never seemed to happen without devolving into that kind of complaining.
However, we're willing to unlock the thread after this 3-day cooldown period because the Pokemon General thread has been stable enough. And -
Can I discuss Dexit?
Yes. But if there is prolonged wonking on it, the thread just becomes an echo chamber of complaints and we do not like that. No one likes that. The same rules as ever apply. Be a constructive, healthy space. Have conversations about what you like, and what you don't like, but the thread should not get locked into a series of bitter complaints.

As I said in the general thread, I love all three starters and will need to see evolutions before I pick one. Scorbunny is clearly based on a footballer. I think Grookey may be a scholar. No idea what Sobble’s theme could be yet.
Region looks fine. I do really like having a colder region again. Dressing up in cold weather clothes will be more fun than summery ones.

I don't think we've had a long/tall region before, have we? Might be linear, but it'll be fun to just keep going up up up.
I wonder if there's a central theme to the starters. Scorbunny could easily be an athlete, what with the nose tape and all. We know Grookey is curious and Sobble is shy.

Some of the routes seem to be large. The large grassy area with lakes to the north of the mountains north of the starting area comes to mind first.

Nothing wrong with shield. The fighter is useful, but the paladin has their place, too.

I wonder if there are two legendaries or one legendary with two different forms. Now granted DPPt, BW, and B2W2 all had double dragons but in the latter's case it was the same dragon, just different forms of it. I'm wondering if we'll get two different wolves or the same wolf but with different forms depending on the version.
