It seems that Didn't Need Those Anyway! is about enemies' armor breaking away as they get damaged, therefore, Destructible Armor and Hit Points As Body Armor...
I see what you mean, and that, yes the title isn't clear.
Destructible Armor has three wicks and 18 inbounds...
While Hit Points As Body Armor has no wicks and only five inbounds...
So we should decide on the latter, first, so it can't get anymore bad inbounds?

Destructible Armor and Hit Points As Body Armor redirect to Didn't Need Those Anyway!. These phrases don't seem to have much to do with the trope, and in fact seem to be more like variants or inversions of Body Armor as Hit Points. According to their edit histories, they've been pointing there since before 2011.
Anyone know what the deal is with that?
