I’ll just come right to the point and say that I am trying to write a fanfic story that has the same type of cleverness that other stories written by people like say Greg Weisman are known to possess; those long term plans that the villains and even the heroes are shown be having every now and again, all with the have clues to them all being scattered about here and there, only for them all to actually add up in the end without sounding too far fetched or contrived. However, you can probably understand just how difficult that can be for some people, especially when that one person in particular has a tendency to occasionally forget just where his story was initially headed.
But, in any case, though, this is what I have gotten settled on, so far, for my fanfic story, but, uh, keep the following 2 factoids in mind, just the same, however; 1. I am still in the WIP type of phase for all of this, so i don’t know what I might end up changing around here and there later down the line, and 2. I will be somewhat vague in what I end up typing here, if only because I don’t want to spoil too much for my aforementioned story
So, here’s the deal; a brand new villain that I have decided to add to the story’s initial franchise has been out there recruiting a few of the other enemies of the protagonists in order to create a brand new antagonizing task force. But, not only was all of this done while the new foe had a few other big and bad, dangerous monsters released, in order to distract the heroes whilst he completed things with this particular task, with at least one wave of the monster attacks being augmented with a method that will be used again later on down the line, but the task force itself was originally formed with the intent of both exacting the new foe’s initial personal vendettas, as well as to distract the protagonists from things, whilst the even bigger bad of the story actually conducted his very own personal agenda.
Now then, as the new foe actually begins to get things started properly, he would essentially allow the brand new members of his brand new task force the chance to have exactly three opportunities to deal with the heroes on their own personal terms, but, on the condition that, should they all manage to fail on these three free chances (which, of course, they do), then they would all be required to obey the commands of their brand new leader, the new foe. But, as it would happen to turn out, the three free chances that were all given earlier were all actually just a means of getting the protagonists’ attention, the exact same objective that was behind a few following attacks later on, all of which were all intended to set the heroes up for a pretty big defeat.
And then, after that pretty big defeat, the new foe would then proceed to prey upon the heroes’ uneasiness and paranoia, and then launch a series of attacks that was even worse from the one before it. All for the sake of leading the heroes into one more trap of his making and this time it was to settle his own personal vendettas
Now, how does all that sound in terms of a long term type of in-story plan?
