And a big ol' Hetcon in the DLC.
My Tumblr. Currently liveblogging Haruhi Suzumiya and revisiting Danganronpa V3.A Hetcon that was pretty much mandated by their own story, mind you. The problem was not so much the Hetcon, but that the romance sidequests did not really fit with the story they were actually trying to tell. An RPG just doesn't lend itself very well to telling a robust, fixed story, and it will ALWAYS lead to someone's personal story being ignored in one way or another. This scenario could just as easily happen with that plague on Kephalonia that you can choose to stop or let happen by saving or not saving that one family. And in a way, it almost did. Notice that the plague breaks out once Phoibe comes to Athens, and she is murdered shortly after, for no particular plot reason. In hindsight, I think Phoibe was supposed to be a Typhoid Mary, but it was decided that was too dark, or something like that.
Optimism is a duty. While Odyssey's romances were barely even worth mentioning, that doesn't mean they needed a hetcon for the DLC. The in-universe justification was to continue the bloodline, but the whole point of getting the memories from blood rather than a descendant was so that there didn't have to be any descendants. Plus, since Kassandra ends up immortal and living to the present day anyway, she didn't even need any descendants at all.
Once again, Kassandra and Darius do not KNOW that. The only thing they know is that they have to preserve the bloodline, so they HAVE to have children. They do not know anything about genetics, or the Animus, or how later innovations in the Animus will negate the need for a bloodline. So yes, from a story perspective, Kassandra absolutely NEEDS to have a child. That the framing device has already negated this need is dramatic irony, perhaps, but it does not invalidate the need of the characters in the past.
Also, with how the DLC is going, I suspect that the real story here is going to be that Kassandra is the ancestor of ALL later Assassins, since the Order has been exterminating any other Isu bloodlines. So in that case, a baby is, again, absolutely neccesary to allow all the other stories to happen.

Optimism is a duty.Yeahhh..... maybe G5 will take from one specific mythology as inspiration, rather than many.
What if G5's animation was hand-drawn instead of flash?
Is ANY show going to be hand drawn these days?
Optimism is a duty.Hand drawn is crazy expensive,so only on rare occasions
this music plays whenever I post also a boxI don't mind computer-generated where it's not like CGI but looks hand-drawn, such as what I've seen on Nate Is Late recently.
FIM did really good with Flash, and the last movie looked good in Toom Boom. I don't see why they can't do the same with this next one.
That is the face of a man who just ate a kitten. Raw.True. It's just that Adobe Flash will soon be deader than disco. Not to mention a lot of the most popular cartoons today are still hand drawn. Just for curiosity's sake, I'd love to see MLP in traditional animation.

Past gens were hand drawn and you can see them on You Tube or Netflix or other sites. It's nice but probably not too likely the new gen would be hand drawn.
see my completed Tangled (Varian) fanfic collection! https://archiveofourown.org/works/24467056/chapters/59049532Buddy, I made most of my career around Flash/Animate and I heard "flash is dying" or "flash is dead" statements for at least 15 years. And I'm still using it and a ton of other shows are too. .... that's a LONG TIME to be dying.
For television, maybe, but on the internet? Browsers are increasingly hostile to Flash content, often refusing to even play older Flash elements.
Here's an article on Chrome's latest step on the way to killing off Flash.
And here is the announcement of the impending death of the Flash web plugin. It is slated to be dead by the end of 2020.
This means that every Flash game you have ever played online will be inaccessible, by the way. It's a pretty huge thing.

Optimism is a duty. The increasingly obsolete nature of Flash is getting so prominent, one of the better known Flash toons had to bring it up.
And yet Homestar still didn't make the switch to another software....
I don't see how the (well justified) demise of the Flash browser plugin has anything to do with animation methods.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayWell, that depends on whether they are just discontinuing the plugin or the entire software package, and how big a market Flash animation is compared to it's use on the internet in general.
Optimism is a duty.I'm sure they'll continue the animation package for a while. The only reason to discontinue it is if noone uses it any more. Which has nothing to do with the browser plugin.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayFlash is still used a lot on television shows, which I think is where Adobe should aim their next updates for Animate toward.
You mean as opposed to movies? I guess that would explain why MLP switched to Toon Boom for the movie.
I wonder what the Dofus movie was done in.
Blind Final Fantasy 6 Let's PlayMovies do tend to look better than their series, partly because they use better animation. That's often what the extra budget goes into.
Optimism is a duty.then again that doesn't mean Animate can;t look good in a theater. Teen Titans Go To The Movies was animated in Animate and that looked great.

I think that's definitely true, even a game like Assassins Creed Odyssey, where you can have straight as well as gay relationships, still has noticeably more female options than male ones.
Optimism is a duty.
