On the other hand, Harley's portrayal is a lot more entertaining and less Male Gaze-y than in Suicide Squad, which I hated, so I'd say give it a chance if you've got the time.
One day, we will read his name in the news and cheer.Looks like Warner Brothers is changing the film's title
to Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey.

Saw it yesterday and I had a great time! It really does evoke Tarantino in its non-chronological storytelling and Deadpool in its Harley narration (though Deadpool didn't narrate about his supporting cast like Harley did).
Huntress is a dork and I love it. Give us Huntress X Question already.
The fights were BRUTAL but fun!
And Cass does seem in name only, but I like to think there's enough wiggle room for a future movie to say "hey, that pickpocket's birth parents bred her to be an assassin and tried to train her when she was a toddler."
And yeah, I'm hating how the Internet is saying the movie's bombing because apparently marketing team blundered for the umpteenth time.
Segue: apparently, theater listings are renaming the movie
Harley Quinn: Birds of Prey to get people's attention more? I'm not sure if that always works...

She's less sexualized in her clothing and posing and somewhat… smarter? Albeit in a very goofy way. BOP also likes to remind us that she has a Phd in psychology.
And obviously, the fact she's no longer head-over-heels for the Joker impacts her character.
As for the title… well, everyone was calling the movie "Birds of Prey" anyway, so I'm not sure it makes a difference. The original subtitle fit the movies' story and tone better honestly.

Okay, so apparently this movie is performing bleh in the US, but if we're talking international numbers, it already made back its budget?
If anything I think Harley's hotter here since there's less bad writing and gratuity to soil the whole thing and more actual good effort to advance her character into someone compelling, likeable, and independent from Mistah J.
Self-serious autistic trans gal who loves rock/metal and animation with all her heart. (she/her)What?
I did say "less sexualized", not "less sexy". There's a difference. Probably.
Regarding the Box Office, the budget was pretty low by comic movie standards and I don't feel like the marketing budget was that high either so it'll probably be fine.

It's very much a Harley and the Birds of Prey film.
