Ever since the first two people gained superpowers one of them has been trying to beat the other one down because of some reason or another. It is simply the way of the world, order fights chaos and people cheer their chosen champion. Villain shakes fist in air, hero flies off into sunset.

But there is something deeply wrong with the world in the modern age, 'villains' have been reduced to blind killers or thugs, and heroes are abundant to the point of bursting. There aren't enough evil organizations left to need such a surplus, which is leading to an inevitable breaking point. What happens when the superheros have nothing left to focus on? Why, they will turn to the ills of society that they can't punch, and wouldn't it be better for someone who is right and good and just to take the reigns to save people from themselves? Those of us who live outside of societies morality still need society to function, so a plan was put into action to train the next generation. Not of heroes, no order has its champions well kept.

My name is Broker, I am what you might call the 'leader' of Dark Bank. Maybe you have heard of us, but probably not. We are the secret behind the rise and fall of every criminal empire in the last thirty years, and now we are extending an offer to you. Join our school, we will give you the tools to see your ambitions through. If you want to rule the world we can give you an army. If you want power to take what you want we will give you the tools to enhance yourselves. Or maybe you never had a choice, but don't worry, once we are done you will get to choose to be whatever you want.

The location has been sent to you along with this message, simply be there at the scheduled time if the offer I have given you is within your interests. I have also sent a sizable fund to procure clothing, valuables, and anything that will give you comfort. Once you step forward there is no going back to whatever your old life was.

Welcome to my villain academy, and may your infamy claim even the stars.

End of Fluff

Plenty of superhero games out there, but order requires chaos in order to live, so welcome to My Villain Academy, one of the few RP's allowing for players to take a ride with their darker impulses while still remaining in a controlled environment. I will get this out of the way now, if you are looking to play a character who just wants to go around murdering this isn't really the RP for you. While the taking of lives will be a thing that happens and that you character will learn to not worry to much about they still need to be rational enough to interact with their classmates on a basic human level.

Besides, mad dogs should be put down, not given more power.

Your characters are young adults, range between 16-18 and have done something or have a certain mindset that has caught the interest of the 'recruitment staff' of the worlds only villain academy, and thus have received an invitation to join and be trained as the next era of villains. Their are two basic 'career paths' for your characters. Those who wants to use their minds and powers to carve a piece of the world for themselves are in the 'Mastermind Path', think Lex Luthor or Red Skull. The other is the 'Enforcer Path', think your Taskmasters or Deathstrokes, people who are good at what they do and are willing to sell their powers to make money.

I want to put this out right now, while these characters are villains they should have a base level of human decency. They can kill when their plans call for it but they shouldn't be...gross about it. Nobody wants to be in an RP with Captain Klansmen or the Uberfuhrer. Your character isn't expected to be a good person, but there is a minimum decency expected from them if they want to become true villains.

Character Sheet
  • Real Name:

  • Villain Name: The best of the worst have to have a title for themselves.

  • Age: Keep it within the young adult range. Unless they are some sort of demon or alien, and then keep it within young adult range for them.

  • Course: Do they want to be a Mastermind or an Enforcer. Will change certain 'assignments' throughout the game.

  • Appearance: Used to describe what they look like in day to day attire, as the villain academy itself has no dress code to further the idea that each student is free to be themselves.

  • Villain uniform: What they wear when it is time to go to work, any gadgets or weapons can be glanced over and gone into more detail in gear.

  • Personality: What makes them tick? What drives them to be the chaos to the heroes order? Do a dive into them and let people know why they will eventually be feared.

  • Powers: What makes them special. Doesn't have to just be laser eyes or super strength, get creative. Maybe their wits are their power, or how they have mastered a ton of different forms of combat. Maybe it is something in the biology. Be creative, but don't make someone who is so OP they don't need the academy in the first place.

  • Gear: Any relevant weaponry or gear that is important to mention.

  • Backstory:

  • Miscellaneous: Anything you can think of that doesn't fit into any of the other categories.

  • This game is in no way a My Hero Academia tie in.
  • This game can be considered a sort of prequel to the long running on site RP My Superhero Academy: Crisis of Infinite Reboots. However knowledge of that game is not required and will only exist in small shout outs or will be properly explained when mentioned.
  • This game will have a discord server and discussion page, and both can be used at the convenience of the players.

  • Real Name: Elisabella Hutchinson
  • Villain Name: The Fleshweaver
  • Age: 17
  • Course: Enforcer
  • Appearance: Like so. Minus the horn and the multitude of eyes (usually). Lithe yet relatively bony build, around 5'11" in height. Dull expression and almost nonexistent body language—tends to mirror instead that of the people around her as substitute. Pale, borderline sickly skin and distinctly albino features; however a closer look reveals a lack of the physiological detriments and defects brought about by a lack of pigmentation suggesting a more supernatural origin for her colouration. Wears plain, dull clothing such as a faded beige top and dark grey slacks on casual days—most notably preferring to go barefoot out of a combination of power efficiency, a want to utilize the natural feelings of pity such a trait seems to evoke from other people to her advantage, and a genuine lack of care for the things in the first place.
  • Villain Uniform: A form-fitting suit of vantablack broken up by neon red circuitry. Has an unnaturally smooth texture to it. Apparently stored in an implanted hexagonal device in her chest—when activated or deactivated the suit liquefies and either retreats from or spreads out over her form entirely to her exact physical specifications. X-rays display the suit is intricately woven into her biology—as if she's been grown around it.
  • Personality: A blank slate, quite frankly. Elisabella has been often described as a machine before, but the extent of the claim has never been entirely accepted. Really, though, the definition is more accurate than one might think. The girl runs on pure pragmatism and (so far) nothing else; lying, cheating, and doing whatever she pleases to get whatever goal she has set in her mind completed as efficiently and as quickly as possible. Her complete lack of empathy only serves to assist in this mindset, and as such Elisabella sees little to no difference in reading a book or cracking open skulls to pass the time—though admittedly one is a little more messy and tends to involve a lot of confusing legal spewings later on down the line as punishment. Elisabella has no real inclination to do bad as much as she is just yearning for some kind of stimulation; the heroic lifestyle evidently being too stuffy for her and thus being pushed aside in favour of a greater expanse of options. Still, though, Elisabella is relatively naïve and lacking in any real insight—mostly out of her disinterest in learning about things she has no drawing to than anything else—but her mind is still quite young and is constantly absorbing in information. If one is careful with their words around her, Elisabella may be moulded into something of some use to both her classmates and the faculty—albeit at risk of them being manipulated at the same time.
  • Powers:
    • Epidermal Ribboning: An absolutely bizarre and extremely disturbing ability that Elisabella has affectionately started to refer to as her ‘Wire Action’. Technically, Epidermal Ribboning is in fact a conglomerate of smaller Required Secondary Powers that reinforce the primary power of psychokinetically ‘ribboning’ her skin into microscopic strings—which can be manipulated either as tendrils or high-speed whips that can cleave through practically anything in their way. While a small-scale form of passive, self-directed haemokinesis and a supernatural endurance protect her exposed musculature and internal organs while this ability is being used, Elisabella is still rendered exposed to the elements and could be easily subject to hypothermia and sepsis if she ever exposed her whole body in this state for too long. Thankfully, the power can be activated partially—only ribboning the skin in select parts of the body if need be and thus minimizing risk of infection and bodily failure by shock and cold.
  • Gear:
    • Liquid Suit: As mentioned before, Elisabella has possession of a skintight suit of vantablack colouration broken up by red neon tubing and constructed from an unknown mixture of synthetic and organic materials. The suit's primary ability is camouflage—refracting light around itself using a microscopic retractable mirror system in order to make Elisabella's overall body shape somewhat harder to identify—however it also has the ability to convert to a liquid form as its name would suggest, and retract into a small nodule implanted in the skin beneath her chest. It is tied directly into her central nervous system, and thus can be activated via a specific pattern of subtle muscle twitches and does not stifle any physical senses disregarding pain (of which it completely ignores in favour of acting like normal clothing—which cannot feel at all). Elisabella can either completely or partially retract the suit; most often around her arms so as to allow full potential for her epidermal ribboning abilities.
  • Backstory:
    • Boy, wouldn't you like to know? Elisabella's fundamental background has been kept largely unsaid by her in terms of the specifics, but vague snippets from incredibly specific questions have revealed a few details. It is known that Elisabella was grown in a controlled environment instead of born. It is guessed by her that the machine that ‘weaved’ her into existence also gave her her powers—though whether this was intentional on the part of her creators or not she claims not to know. It is known she has been given a basic education, and it is known that she had also been given regular opportunities to interact with other children. Elisabella's status as a glorified lab rat doesn't seem to bother her too much, which was (as imagined) initially relieving to her creators until she revealed that frankly nothing bothered her too much—the lives of them, the lives of the other children her age, nor the lives of the animals or indeed anyone else in the world. The only creature Elisabella seemed to nurture and care for was her own self—something which apparently began to spark a difference in their dealings with her (according to Elisabella herself at least.)
    • In short, her creators evidently began approaching interactions with her a different way. They began treating her less as a young girl and more like a learning robot—teaching her in level tones and walking her through the practical processes of each subject. Her false child-like behaviours became ignored, and as such these surface-level attributes quickly fell away as Elisabella realised she no longer had any use for them. Elisabella was being slowly converted into a blank slate—a machine with which control could be exerted over. However, the researchers didn't account for her ever deciding to take control. Sure enough, Elisabella slowly began to eak her way into their approval again—in reality exaggerating her robotic nature and removing her tendency to utilize superficial charm to her advantage in her dealings with other people. With results finally to show for and ecstatic that their project was finally fit for its intended use, Elisabella's creators showcased her to her new career in the making—a specialized, superpowered mercenary.
    • Elisabella had been designed to be a simple supersoldier, but a combination of unprecedented occurrences had made her turn out as something much worse. With her body a living weapon and her mind basically that of a psychopath, Elisabella has her future career on her mind as well as the steps she'll have to take to get there—with the first and arguably most important being getting through the experience that is the world's most prominent villain academy.
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Despite her lack of empathy, Elisabella manages to have a fascination with animals and life in general, and even owns a pair of budgies—even if they're purely there to satiate her curiosity as to how they tick. Suffice to say they weren't her first pets, and it's best left at that. In any case, Elisabella also likes quiet sunny days sitting under the shade of an apple tree with a glass of lemonade and a Jane Eyre novel just as much as the next person does—it just so happens that if the situation somehow devolves into her using the book as some sort of lethal projectile as she stabs the broken remains of her glass into an attacker's eyeballs then she won't exactly be paying much mind to it.

  • Real Name: Rin Arakawa
  • Villain Name: Murakumo
  • Age: 16
  • Course: Enforcer
  • Appearance: Shuten-Douji Consortium's shining star. Here with Sensou. Standing at 5'3 of perfect poise and a cold glare that could freeze a pyromancer.
  • Villain Costume: The school uniform of Zanshin High School, albeit with a longer-than-regular ankle-length skirt, as well as knee-high boots.
  • Personality: Terse and laconic. Immensely focused. Speaks her mind and usually doesn't bother with pleasantries or formalities. A lone wolf that prefers going on her own. Doesn't seem to have much in the way of hobbies or preferences beyond practicing her swordsmanship. Kind of a recluse, really. Can open up and become somewhat better at interacting, but that is going to take some time; currently about the only person who can warm her frozen heart somewhat is her father.
  • Powers:
    • Iaijutsu - Honed to near-perfection and enhanced by her cyborg arms, Rin's main draw (ha) is being able to draw her sword at extremely fast speeds. The sheer impact would be enough to cut through lesser defenses, but the state-of-the-art craft of her katana makes it an astoundingly destructive force. With this comes general good physical aptitude - a strong back, powerful legs and a will of steel.
    • Kenjutsu - Rin is also skilled in more conventional swordsmanship, being able to operate with Sensou with either of her hands, having been made ambidextrous thanks to her cyborg arms. While able to fight with other swords as well, she struggles without Sensou. Luckily, if disarmed, she can always resort to...
    • Bajiquan - A Chinese martial art that focuses on explosive bursts of power with full-throttle strikes. A girl of Rin's size would likely not have found much success with it, but having a pair of cutting edge cyborg arms makes up for that.
  • Gear:
    • Sensou - A High-Frequency katana and Rin's weapon of choice. Unremarkable on appearance alone, but the delicate vibrotechnology allows it to cut just about anything short of military-grade defenses. The HF mode can be disabled at will if need to; Rin normally does not use it unless pushed. It's still a damn good sword, and even at its base it can cut through things with ease, resistant to damage.
    • MANTRA Arms - An experimental piece of tech provided by the Shuten-Douji Consortium, these cyborg limbs greatly enhance the user's strength and dexterity, allowing Rin to actually draw her sword without damaging herself. Resistant to damage and impervious to EMP's (since they're still moved by Rin's own body rather than an additional mechanism), they nonetheless feel as soft to the touch as actual skin despite their ominous appearance. Additional support for the arms includes a thin strengthening layer for the spine and legs to increase her overall speed and a minor update to the brain that polishes the hand-eye coordination to complete fluidity.
  • Backstory:
    • Rin Arakawa was once a normal girl living with her father in a remote part of Japan. Rin's father, Tetsuo Arakawa, ran a successful kendo school. Her mother passed away from illness before Rin could remember her, and so she found herself being raised in a company of bokkens and swordsmen. While not very strong, her big suit was her dexterity and swiftness. Indeed, it seemed that her favorite pastime became trying to draw a katana out of its scabbard as fast and efficiently as possible.
    • There was hidden talent within her, and soon she began showing up at iaido competitions, winning them by dozens. The girl became the talk of the region, and soon joined the nationals, outshining seasoned veterans at a ripe old age of 14. This was the height of Rin's life, though she didn't know that yet at a time. With numerous successes grew a strange manner of arrogance. She became unsatisfied with her ability to "just" win. No, she wanted to master the art of draw in full. Her nights were spent practicing for the sake of practicing. Her body grew stronger, but not strong enough to survive the final draw that popped her muscles open. The doctors were barely able to save her, puzzled at the fact that Rin's arms appeared to have effectively exploded from the inside, now frayed and nigh-unusable.
    • With her arms gone, so were the dreams of iaijutsu. Rin grew apathetic and secluded herself from the few friends she had, growing pale and sickly again. Her father, try as he might, was unable to bring her back from the brink... but then they were visited by a businessman by the name of "Mr. Sato". The man was a fan of Rin and now offered to replace her arms with a brand new pair of prostheses. The cost, while high, was nothing the Arakawa school couldn't handle... at least until the inconspicuous businessman revealed himself to be a high-ranking member of the notorious Shuten-Douji Consortium, considered the strongest of Yakuza clans in Japan at the time, with vast influence in technological think-tanks and state-of-the-art hardware. To pay off the debt of giving his daughter her life back, she was now to apply her pure skills for the impure goals of the Consortium. Put at gunpoint, both literally and metaphorically, Rin's father agreed to the terms.
    • Thus, Rin Arakawa became Murakumo, the Consortium's one-woman clean-up crew. Over the course of the year, she's killed a fair share of scoundrels and innocents alike until her vision blurred and they all became targets to dispose of. Pleas and curses fell on deaf ears, her movements smoothed out and became like clockwork. At some point, she was sent abroad to Dark Bank's academy with a letter of recommendation. Mr. Sato had plans for her - once he would finish cleaning up the old blood off the offices of the Consortium, it would be time for her to return and become his right hand woman, hardened by interacting with other would-be villains. Rin has no plans to defect or escape - after all, her father is still held hostage by the yakuza and, ashamedly enough, she's come to relish her existence. It was the only way not to lose her mind out of despair, after all.

  • Name: Gideon Graves
  • Villain Name: Abaddon
  • Age: 18
  • Course: Mastermind
  • Appearance:
  • Uniform: When
  • Personality: You'd think a dude who goes around feeding people to monsters and calling himself Abaddon would be a jerk, but Gideon is a very affable and friendly person.
  • Powers: Gideon uses the bits of shrapnel embedded in his brain to channel his psychic powers. He manifests Ectoplasmic Constructs, psuedo-living creatures he controls with his mind. For simplicity's sake think of it as Monster Summoning. He can have up to two different types of monster out at once. Each individual type has its own cap on how many can be out and how many he can have out at once. He summons monsters by creating a ball of ectoplasm in his hand and breaking it, either by crushing it or throwing it wherever he wants his monster to come out. It's a lot like a Pokeball.
  • As a side note, Gideon's psychic ability combined with his unique brain structure also makes him very hard to affect using mind-affecting powers. Even if one succeeds in doing so the effects on him can be unpredictable.
    • Evil Eye: These monsters take the shape of eyeballs, each one about the size of a baseball. Gideon can see through them if he closes his eyes. They float with a high degree of speed and precision, but are about as durable as balloons. Each one has a branching tentacle dangling behind it which it can grip things with, though they can only support objects up to 15 pounds. They can fire energy beams in small bursts. The beams aren't very powerful, but they still hurt like hell and can set flammable objects on fire. If he has multiples shooting at once they are capable of melting through things like steel and concrete very quickly. He can bring out up to 4 at a time, and it only takes him about two seconds to summon each one.
    • Slime: A 7x7x7 foot cube of dense ooze. It's transparent, but the viscous slime it is made up of is comparable to ballistic gel:
    • Shadow People:
    • Dragon: Gideon calls it a dragon but it's closer to a giant chameleon. It's about 10-feet long, with six legs. It is definitely his least stealthy monster: Its skin rapidly changes its color pattern and glows slightly and looks like something you might see on an acid trip. It has six legs, and accordingly can run at high speeds. Its main means of offense is its ability to regurgitate massive amounts of pink slime at high pressures. This slime quickly solidifies into an extremely durable, rubber-like substance. Its elasticity renders it nearly unbreakable by pulling, but it can be cut through. The slime is very flammable and burns very hot. Freezing it will render it brittle and easy to break. He can summon one Dragon at a time.
  • Gear: He has a gun, but it's really a last-resort weapon.
  • Backstory: Gideon believes that his powers come from him being chosen by the demon king Athoth. His powers are in fact psychic in nature. He was walking to the 7/11 after school one day to get some beef jerky and a huge thing of Mountain Dew. He was going by a construction site when one of the beams broke, shattering one of the bolts. Gideon was unlucky enough that it nailed him right in the head, just behind the ear. It pierced his skull, and the construction workers called him an ambulance.
  • Gideon was in a catatonic while doctors worked for 24 hours to save him. And while he slept, he dreamed. He dreamed of bizarre monsters at his beck and call, and of the sublime nothingness that existed before creation. He dreamed of the demon king Athoth, he gave him his mission: To end all of existence.
  • No, there is no actual demon king. Yes, he does believe it is his destiny to bring about the apocalypse. He's not sure whether he wants to or not, but he thinks that it's preordained and why he was given his powers.

Declaring interest.

Some questions, if I may: If a mad scientist-type villain is going to be a Mastermind, yet is open to letting themselves be hired out to build things for people while they amass resources (for typical Mastermind goals), then what are they? Can they be counted as an Enforcer if they also have some degree of fighting skills so they won't be totally useless (though they'll mostly stay at the back lines to snipe enemies)? Or would this flexibility reflect the opportunistic nature that a Mastermind should already have?

Jumping Fruit- A Mastermind is basically the road for someone who has a big goal they want to accomplish. Take down the head hero, overtake the city, collect all of the Van Gogh's to perform the summoning of the god of art, etc. Whereas an Enforcer's goals usually fall on the line of 'I am here to get paid and beat up heroes'. There is enough wiggle room for Masterminds to throw some weight and for Enforcers to have their own plans and such.

So to shorten my answer, yeah a Mastermind is free to sell their services and even engage directly, so long as it is in service to their larger goal.

I love playing villains and stuff, so just a question here, assuming the name of this RP is not just a coincidence: I have never, ever seen MHA. While it could be argued that I should, and I probably will, I already have a few other things to finish (alongside my third read of Jo Jo Part 5 as I follow the anime).

Simply put, could I still join? Or do I need to have seen MHA?

  • Real Name: Gavin Shayde
  • Villain Name: Shadow Mist
  • Age: 17
  • Course: Mastermind
  • Appearance: Gavin is a tall, muscular looking young man - his coal black hair is curly and well conditioned, a contrast to how oily it was before the serum that made him what he is. He has bright green eyes and a rather pale countenance. The fact he's so pale indicates he didn't get his build and height the natural way. Gavin usually wears a black tight tank top, all the better to show his build off, and black jeans that do much the same for his legs and rear. He generally seems to dress himself like a guy who used to be unfit and withdrawn not too long ago, who now is compensating now he's suddenly attractive. He's handsome to a somewhat unnatural, comic book extent, he doesn't seem real...
  • Villain uniform: His villain uniform is a semi-cybernetic outfit with numerous purple tron lines going through it, accentuated black gauntlets on his arms ending in sharp claws, the only place that isn't covered is his mouth. He wears a black cape made of "spun Darksteel fabric" which is nigh invulnerable. He wears a belt at his waist which contains his various trick weapons and such.
  • Personality: Gavin is a remarkably driven individual; he's brave, daring, resourceful, prepared and extremely ambitious. He seemed good enough that people, when he was a "hero", overlooked his more telling flaws and let him do as he would. The problem is, those flaws spoil what kind of person Gavin truly is. Gavin is manipulative, cruel once he no longer needs you, given to gaslighting and power plays. Due to his past, Gavin is exceedingly eager to become an important person - to an impatient degree. He takes any degree of infamy given to be a step in that direction. He's rather braggadocious about what he's done, taking a perverse pride in it.
  • Powers: Gavin, due to the serum that empowered him, acquired incredible Super-Reflexes and intuition, learning whole fighting styles quickly and easily. One could also say that his wits are his power - he used to be a young prodigy after all, and he prioritizes adapting to circumstances on his feet. In general the powers he was given by the super serum seemed to focus on supplementing his capacities - he has a Healing Factor, he can jump into and move through shadows, he can create illusions (though with a number of flaws, including that none of his illusions have shadows or any telling human factors in the eyes), and has some acute powers over peoples' minds he can activate by touch - the longer he maintains contact the stronger the effect - though given his tendencies, Gavin isn't very subtle when he alters someone's mind; he didn't just turn his father evil, for example. He literally made him overwhelmingly, almost childishly, uncharacteristically evil. The one power he has that is more explicitly combat based is tactile telekinesis, and even that is mostly honed into letting Gavin tactfully exploit his surroundings and the weaknesses of his foes.
  • Gear: Gavin wears a highly durable and stealthy suit, made to assist his efforts in moving quickly and blending in. It is capable of shifting its dark color scheme to blend in - which at a distance means he'll be difficult nigh impossible to see coming. His gear includes a number of dangerous weapons, including grappling hooks, "Blade Boomerangs", thrown exploding daggers, a stun gun mounted on the palm of his gauntlet, claws on the gauntlets, blades on the wrist area, various explosives including one that expels a dark smoke, and a knockout drug injector.
  • Backstory:
    • Gavin Shayde and his father Allan used to be something of a super team - Allan was a wealthy socialite whose sponsored research resulted in both being given access to a super serum called ALT-X001. The serum turned Allan from a man about to hit the twilight of his life into a young looking, vital superhero in the vein of Superman. Gavin meanwhile had been an unfit but incredibly intelligent young prodigy - a pariah in his school due to how shy and withdrawn he was. The serum turned Gavin toward a more athletic look, and over the years he went from a rather greasy looking pre-teen to a muscular adolescent. The two of them became something like celebrities, feeding Gavin's love of fame.
    • Gavin's intelligence and resourcefulness gave him a bit of what he wanted, but most often he was out of the limelight and did very vital things...but the people focused on the showy and vibrant heroics of Allan. Gavin gradually grew to resent his father, a seed already sewn due to the abuses Allan weathered from his wife. The teenage "hero" would become more violent, brutal, and dangerous, but as his family's star rose he found people curiously looked the other way.
    • This provided even more fuel for the fire. Gavin decided to do something about his father, and thus provide a case where he could ascend to the forefront. Taking up some practice with his more mental powers by binding the minds of repeat criminals, Gavin knew what he could do before long, and went for it. He corrupted his own father's mind, using photo evidence (really Gavin using an illusion of his father imposed over himself) and mental influence to make his father think he was going crazy.
    • It doesn't help that the serum involved had a 50% chance of inciting such sanity degrading effects. Before long Allan went from beloved paragon to a horrifying, insane wreck due to Gavin's toxic influence. Gavin was all set to take the stage and strike down his maddened father and become the new top hero in their city...when one thing went wrong.
    • For all of his preparations he couldn't have known about someone able to survive one of the crimes he made it seem his father did. That person saw what truly happened, and brought it forward to other heroes. Gavin's celebrity and status evaporated over night, and he was forced to abandon the lifestyle he greatly preferred.
    • After a few "fruitful and not so fruitful team actions", Gavin was invited to the academy of villains, and decided to take them up on this.
  • Miscellaneous: While Allan did suffer through the sanity degrading effects of the serum, Gavin, despite his protestations he did too, is demonstrably lying about that - he's fully sane and knew what he was doing.

  • Real Name: Torin
  • Villain Name: Runescar
  • Age: 18
  • Course: Enforcer.
  • Appearance: Long black hair that drapes down to his lower back in dire need of a shower. Half of his skin is black stone with purple etchings in them, that being the right half of his face, stretching from the top of his scalp down the middle of his face, down his neck and across his chest and ending at his right hip, almost like a large chunk was bitten out of him. His attire is usually something hilariously simple for someone of his appearance, and does nothing to hide his appearance by any means necessary.
  • Villain uniform: It doesn't change much. He just tends to go shirtless when he's in his villain attire because, well, frankly, how in the hell can he hide this?
  • Personality: Torin is very much a quiet bruiser who doesn't talk a whole heck of a lot. He chooses to let his fists and powers do the talking for him, and likes nothing more than to hurt people the way he hurts on a daily basis. He doesn't want to, there's still some semblance of the old self still in there, but hurting people turns off the pain for a moment and allows him to feel relief for once in his life. It's when he's at his happiest. Other than that he keeps to himself mostly and fiddles with this old locket he has around his neck.
  • Powers: Being half made of magical runes allows for increased strength and durability for Torin, to the point of crushing a car with his bare hands. His magical runes allow him to channel into the magical energies that run through him and his veins permit for beams of energy and minor spells to be cast, though not much. His real strength is his...well, strength.
  • Gear: None whatsoever! unless you count his Rune Skin.
  • Backstory: From what Torin could remember, he SHOULD be dead after the accident that reduced him to a hollow shell of what he once was. Confined to a bed with bandages wrapped around him, hiding his horrible visage from the world, he was expected to die at any moment after he regained consciousness. That all changed when he was approached by an old man, in a yellow suit who offered him a chance to win back his life. Scared of dying, Torin took the offer with no hesitation: he wanted to see his family, he wanted to see his girlfriend again, he wanted to be him again. But, like most Faustian Bargains, there was a price to be upheld. His body now effectively "powered" by an Ancient Rune instilled into his body. It caused constant pain, but it was a small price to pay to have a second chance at life. He could deal with the stares, the gawking, the whispers, it didn't matter as long as he got to see his family, and his loved ones again.
  • Needless to say, it didn't pan out that way. His family reacted to him with abject horror at the monstrosity their son had become. Several decries of "You should have stayed dead instead of coming back as a monster" were only the beginnings of Torin's turn around. Seeing his girlfriend only cemented it: Someone he'd cared about for so long, since they were mere children, reduced to a shocked cry of "Wait, why aren't you dead?", and no in the way meaning to sound like relief. So sure he'd have passed, she moved on...in less than a week. Anger coursed through his body more than the pain did and in a blast of purple energy, reduced her home to a smoking silhouette of what it once was. And he found no pain in his body. He then made a promise to himself: to hurt those the way he felt inside and out, and to look out for himself. To depend on others only left you hurt.

  • Real Name: Lillian Brighthammer
  • Villain Name: The Judge
  • Age: 18
  • Course: Enforcer, however this is mostly so she can stay covert in her goals.
  • Appearance: A large, muscular woman with her blonde hair up in a bun and bright green eyes. Usually she wears a tank top and jeans when not working.
  • Villain uniform: Make the right choice and you have nothing to fear from me
  • Personality: Lillian is a warrior princess whose sense of justice is utterly unyielding. However she was always a hot-head and her sense of justice is arguably not properly tempered with mercy. She also has utter contempt for those who would not fight shoulder to shoulder with their comrades, sell out their allies, or press upon their friends burdens they would not take for themselves.
  • Powers: She has enhanced strength due to exposure to the alien elements of her hammer and the aliens that invaded her homeworld. However this is not to a great degree, while she can wield her massive hammer and lift cars, she couldn't throw vehicles or tear apart a bank vault unaided. Her true strength is that after years of war she is a skilled tactician and a crafty fighter.
  • Gear:
    • The Brighthammer: A massive, two-handed, fantasy style warhammer made from the alien metal of The Swarm, much stronger than most anything humanity is currently capable of making, and capable of channeling and redirecting electricity it comes into contact with, either through blasts, shockwaves or enhancing blows..
    • A Nice suit: It's bulletproof, fire resistant and has several ceramic plates in key areas to protect from blades while still leaving her free to move.
  • Backstory: The last survivor of a doomed alternate earth. Lillian had spent years in battle with the remaining members of that human race against a menace her people called The Swarm, named for their tendency to mutate or eat people, towns and even the very land as they advanced. Lillian was one of the daughters of the few remaining war chiefs, who earned heroism in her own world for holding a critical pass from the Swarm with only a small number of soldiers and a broken hunk of Swarm tech that was re-forged into her hammer. As time passed and more ground was lost to the Swarm, all children and teenagers were summoned together and the remaining mages of her world sent them to another dimension to save them. However when Lillian arrived she found herself alone, no siblings and none of her charges, standing in the middle of a city street covered in woad, furs and bronze armor. After some time and several translation errors by the heroes she got her story across and joined a teen super team, going by the name Brighthammer. For a while she was happy, however this was not to last. While on a mission protecting a prominent businessman, Lillian stumbled across a secret room of his covered in Swarm technology and symbols, including a communication device. Her father had told her of those who had betrayed her previous world to the Swarm and opened the gates for invasion. In her anger she destroyed the room and slew the man, feeling the scene shortly after without explaining herself to her friends. From then on she went on a crusade, rooting out Swarm quislings and destroying any trace of them she can find. These of course look like largely random murders to most as she also makes it a point to destroy Swarm technology. As such she has earned an invitation to the Dark Bank. Lillian accepted. She has already lost one homeworld to The Swarm, if she has to become a villain to ensure that her new one remains safe than she has no reservations abut doing whatever she needs to, regardless of right or wrong.

Enirboreh: Fleshweaver, welcome to my villain academy.

Fergard Stratoavis: Murakumo, welcome to my villain academy.

Nick The Swing: Right now Gavin is a bit too much. Illusions, shadow movement, beyond human abilities, mindjacking, and then adding on the sheer amount of gear he has on him makes him way too powerful, try and tone it down a bit. Backstory wise he is fine, tried to become the best by screwing someone else over and got found out. Shows his schemes have room to develop and gives reason why the academy would want him. Maybe just tone down the powers, or have him gain them over time.

Darkness Awaits: Nope, this game has nothing to do with the excellent manga/anime My Hero Academia, through the name is aped from it this is its own "unique" setting, think more overall comics with magic, evil science, aliens, and superpowers. That being said it does borrow (steal) a few things from the longer running My Superhero Academy: Crisis of Infinite Reboots. But knowledge of that game is not needed at all, and any references will be fully cosmetic for those who aren't interested.

Michael Dj 54: Incomplete but looks good so far.

Personality: She is generally is civil and well spoken. She gives off the appearance of sweet proper young lady. How much of a facade this is ambiguous. She is mainly determined, ruthless and crass underneath it. She slips into this side when the dirty work needs to be done. However, she is strictly against killing for both pragmatic and moral reason. However, because she doesn't kill doesn't mean her enemies will be safe. However, they have yet to fully fulfill this goal. Sibyl is the daughter of the current head of the Travers, Cornelius. He made the effort to keep her out of this life to prevent her from being hurt. However, Cornelius has fallen Ill, requiring dialysis to keep going. In the meantime, there has been a power struggle and Sibyl has had her life threaten many times. After nearly being killed in a staged car "accident" which left her in a coma for three months and a few scars to boot, she took it upon herself to become the successor of the Travers and reform the criminal underworld under her rule. She has been training but, feels like she can't reach her true potential yet and needs to reach it quickly. At this end, she has been recruited due to her bloodline and realizing it can further her goals, she accepted.

Miscellaneous: She does have a love for foreign dramas, some romance movies(as long as they are not sappy or romcoms), fashion, literature and piano playing. Also, she has a tiny toy poodle named Anastasia at home whom she loves dearly and cares for greatly.

[up]x7 I don't think you'll need to worry about that. As far as I understand, this has nothing to do with MHA. Instead (and we just worked this out), this is a spin-off and prequel to My Superhero Academy, which is run by yours truly. The GM can give you the details, but that's the gist.

Anyhoo.

  • Real Name: Su(e) Wukong
  • Villain Name: Monkey Queen
Age: 17
  • Course: Enforcer
  • Appearance: Monkey girl ready for action
  • Villain uniform: Someone's ready for a journey to the west.
  • Personality: Sue is wild, wily, fun-loving, rambunctious, arrogant, and stubborn as all hell. She does whatever she wants whenever she wants, regardless of what anyone else tells her or expects of her. She is capable of following orders, but whoever's giving them has to earn or command her respect before that can happen. She does have a more insecure side. One that isn't sure if she's doing the right thing. But it never bothers her for too long, or if it does she tries not to show it. She's also rather temperamental, quick to anger and quick to judge. But she's also quick to make friends, and eager to make them. And she'll stick by her friends to the end. (Assuming they don't stab her in the back.) She also has her own sense of justice. An eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth. If someone's done wrong to her or people she cares about, she'll do wrong back. Or perhaps worse.
  • Powers: Sue has all the natural abilities of a monkey, albeit enhanced to human proportions. She has enhanced strength and speed as well as incredible agility and dexterity, and that along with her tail and hands-for-feet opens up a lot of options. She's also an experienced and resilient fighter, hunter, and survivalist seeing as survival of the fittest is the rule of the land in her enclave, and one has to take care of one's self. She can also heal somewhat faster than humans, though not to the point where she can replace an entire chunk of flesh in seconds. Additionally, as part of her heritage running back generations, she can make clones of herself from hairs on her body, though only up to five at a time. Any more and the last clone she made is replaced.
  • Gear: Sue possesses a long red staff that has been in her family for generations, though she never used it until she ventured out into the world. Aside from being a useful weapon, she can also extend its' reach to the point where she can attack foes from a long distance. She can also use it to summon up a magic cloud that she can use to fly, though it often has a tendency to want to go west. Which is something she's never quite been able to figure out.
  • Backstory: Sue was born and raised in an enclave home to a race of monkey people in China and it was there that she learned most of her morals and principles as well as general lifestyle. However, she eventually felt a strong sense of wanderlust and wanted to see the world. Besides, most metahumans or nonhumans had been largely accepted in the world at large anyway, so she'd fit right in. She eventually wound up in Super City, said to be the most exciting and action-packed locale in the world as well as home to a cavalcade of metahumans and heroes. After seeing them in action, she was so impressed that she decided to become a hero herself. Saving people, protecting the populace, even the world? It looked fun! What could go wrong?
    • Unfortunately, everything that could possibly go wrong did. For one thing, Sue was still a minor and thus an unlicensed hero, which meant that her suiting up without proper training or experience was prohibited in the first place. On top of that, Sue had been raised with a different set of morals than modern civilization. Which meant that she didn't have a problem with brutally maiming common criminals if they got in her way or hurt others. The result was that Sue found herself becoming the opposite of what she wanted to become, a criminal in the eyes of the law and hunted by the very heroes she had looked up to. This was justice? Going after a would-be hero who was just giving criminals and murderers what they deserved? Where she came from, others were killed for less! Was her way of doing things so wrong?
    • In any case, Sue was now on the run from the law and needed somewhere where she could be safe. Somewhere where she wouldn't be judged for doing what was right. And she found it. Or rather, it found her. Apparently, someone named the Broker thought that she had potential and wanted to hone it to its' utmost. Of course, becoming a villain had been the last thing on Sue's mind. She wanted to be a hero! One of the good guys! Protecting law and order! And yet, was their order so just? After all, they were willing to let thugs, murderers, possibly even rapists live another day. All while calling themselves 'heroes'. All while making her the villain. They were hypocrites. Well, if they were going to call her a villain, then that was what she would become. She would show everyone the hypocrisy of these so-called 'heroes', no matter what it took. Even if it meant being labeled the scum of society. Besides, she was sure it would still be hella' fun.
  • Miscellaneous: Sue enjoys intense action flicks and wacky comedies. She doesn't read. In fact, she doesn't know how. There are also a number of other things that she has only just learned about and is only starting to get used to them, which is something she'll have to work on as the school year goes on.

  • Real Name: Sage Miller
  • Villain Name: The Mad Artificer
  • Age: 16
  • Course: Mastermind
  • Appearance: 5'2" and 125 lbs. Has a distinct, far-reaching stare, dark bags under her eyes, and more than a few burn scars on her. Limps and slouches slightly. Can sometimes be seen with a straw in her mouth.
  • Villain Uniform: It's literally nothing more than a long white lab coat and some sinister goggles (with reflective lenses) that she puts on over her regular clothes. Sometimes (as the experiment requires) she puts on rubber boots and gloves.
  • Personality: Fluctuates constantly. One moment she'll be lethargic and depressed, the next she'll be inspired and be running off to the lab to build her latest zany idea. Sage can also be coldly logical when the situation calls for it. It's unknown if this madness is a front or not (to hide whatever plans she's making), but Sage definitely isn't telling anyone soon. She is surprisingly cordial to everyone, and will cheerfully offer a hand to anyone in need—after all, every Mastermind needs friends!
  • Powers: Sage's mind is her greatest blessing and curse. It's the thing that allows her to create so many WONDERFUL machines, but she has to take medicine so that it doesn't overwhelm her. Add in the fact that it takes time to build things and Sage can only focus properly on her projects sometimes, and you have recipes for slapdash construction at best and dangerous malfunctions or explosions at worst. This is more than balanced out by her gadgets' abilities to defy the laws that science lays down because of her sheer belief that "This should work out just fine! After all, I'm a scientist, and scientists' inventions WORK!" The absolute insanity of her logic processes also allows her to defy most forms of mental invasion (and consequently, manipulation).
    • As Sage grows bored of her inventions, they tend to break as whatever mojo she has in her mind ceases to power them. Her mojo also prevents others from using her inventions, as they will break in their hands.
  • Gear:
    • An ion rifle, plasma handgun, and a laser knife are the only weapons that she consistently has on her because all of her other invented weapons inevitably break as she grows bored of them. However, the appeals of making guns and knives have never quite ceased for this girl.
    • She always has a bottle full of pills accompanying her to help suppress her fluctuating whimsy and overactive mind. Should it get lost or stolen, she will devolve into a foaming-at-the-mouth-mad but very inspired mess. However, it may be beneficial to trigger this version of Sage occasionally if one needs new gadgets on short notice.
    • Several thick, leather-bound journals are found on Sage's person, along with a collection of pens. They're for jotting down the various ideas that she has throughout the day.
  • Backstory:
    • Sage is a sane scientist's daughter who went mad, a subversion of the usual order of things. She had a normal early life, and manifested her odd kitbashing abilities when she hit puberty, building physics-defying gadgets that always broke sooner or later. It was initially attributed to her youth and skill level.
    • At first, her parents were delighted, and she was hailed as a genius. But then more and more accidents happened. She was given medicine to make her a normal, though talented scientist. Sage thought that was boring, but since her mind also pained her, she started taking half-doses.
    • When Dark Bank contacted her, she leaped at the chance to go to a place where her whims could (reasonably) run free. Packing her bags, she left her old home in the dust—FOR SCIENCE!!
  • Miscellaneous:
    • Sage has middling combat talent, yet is willing to hire herself out to other villains to build things for them and/or fight for them on the backlines. Naturally, this would mean giving her some degree of job protection right off the bat as she would be the only one able of operating the things she builds.

  • Real Name: Daniel Dédrome, or "Dandrome"

  • Villain Name: The Malady Boy

  • Age: 16

  • Course: Mastermind

  • Appearance: Daniel Dédrome is a tall (6'1") and skinny black guy. His usual perpetual laid-back look gives off Lack of Empathy and Dissonant Serenity vibes. His hair is of purplish-grey color (light-gray at the tips) and looks unusally wavy and floaty, as if his hair looked like it was (kind of) gaseous. His sclerae are gray, but light enough to almost look like natural human sclerae. His irises are periwinkle-colored, but light-blue nearly around the pupils (who are slit-shaped). His lips are of a natural vantablack color. Outfit-wise, he normally wears an open purplish-black hoodie, which reveal a light purple t-shirt with a black picture that depicts the head of a snake. He wears black jeans and black tennis shoes.

  • Villain Costume: Daniel wears a hooded and skintight onesie. It is mostly black but it's got some particular and bizzare purple stripes. On the hood, there are two deptictions of black-sclerae red eyes with purple eyelashes that are wide as dinner plates and have some red veins on them.

  • Personality: While seemingly apathetic and laid-back, Daniel seems to have a sense of humor as he likes to snark and annoy people, while (mostly) meaning well. He (mostly) seems to be a pathological liar, as he will always try to cover up things that might be "embarassing" to him. He visibly shows a love for biology and technology. In fact, he's pretty good in these subjects/topics. TL;DR: He's a pretty nice, but sneaky and mischievous guy. But he can be cold, calculating, lethal and venomous when he needs to be.

  • Powers:
    • Virokinesis: Daniel can produce a venom, whose toxicity can range from just stunning and paralyzing to even knocking down an elephant. He can also infuse objects with his venom.
    • Corruption Induction: By taking and using a piece of his pretty strange "hair" (which contains his DNA), by launching it at someone, he can corrupt any person (when they're feeling negative emotions and feelings) whose power is below Hyper Weight 4. When the person gets corrupted, Daniel can give (almost) any powers possible (or amplify them, if the corrupted host has got pre-existing powers), even they are limited.note  The corrupted host's brain would get tampered with, so that they would only feel a blind rage and/or a lust for blood, which makes them obviously diffult to control. The stronger the host's negative feelings were before getting corrupted, the longer the corruption will last. When the corruption is "burned out", the host will remember what they did when they were corrupted like a vague dream. Daniel can corrupt only one person for day.

  • Gear:
    • DPCnote : At first, they look like a pair of bizarre fingerless gloves, but when activated, they created three (dark purple) plasma blades that can fully extend to 90 cmnote .
    • DPXnote : When Daniel wants to take a more ranged stance in combat, he can use the DPX: an handheld crossbow that can shoot dark purple plasma projectiles.

  • Backstory:
    • In a faraway star system, lived an alien, male-only race known as the Myjtridans. They literally were living, "anthropomorphic" viruses. They were a really advanced race, who were hungry for money and luxury. When they managed to reach the Solar System, their current emperor, Lord Amuno Dédrome, decided to abduct a random human (because they looked like the most dominant race in Earth to him) of the female sex, and artificially impregnate her with his hybrid child. The abductee turned out to be an African-American woman called Mina Morrison. When the impollination was done, they sent the woman back to Earth, with no memory of the abduction, and grew the embryo inside an Uterine Replicator.
    • When Daniel was finally born, he got raised by the Royal Maids, who explained to him that if he wanted to be acknowledged by his father, he needed to corrupt as many humans as possible, so that superpowered soldiers would get enrolled in the Myjtridan army or get put in the intergalactic slave/soldier traffic. Daniel accepted the Maids' offer and got sent to Earth when he became 15 years old, with some good amount of money.
    • During his first year on Earth, Daniel learned everything necessary about Earth. While during his second year on Earth, he decided to corrupt his first victim. And while he thought He could control them, in reality, he couldn't. The corrupted victim started wrecking havoc in the town he lived in, forcing him to move to Super City.
    • Dark Bank contacted him after the news of "a civilian turned into a rampaging monster that destoyed a good portion of Livelyburgh, a town that was near Super City". When he got to know that he was going to get enrolled in an academy for "Villains", he took as a chance for honing his powers, meeting possibly interesting people, and make him fully capable to achive his objective here.

  • Real Name: Charles 'Charlie' Lavere
  • Villain Name: Apex
  • Age: 18
  • Course: Enforcer
  • Appearance: Tall, tan, shaggy blonde hair, with the body of a greek god. That's what Charlie usually looks like, at any rate, though it's subject to change.
  • Villain uniform: Top of the food chain, baby.
  • Personality: Laid back, to a psychotic degree. Being shot at doesn't bother him, and he'll talk your ear off while you're trying (and probably failing) to capture him. Even in costume he's easygoing and carefree. He generally refrains from killing, though he will if there's no other option. Despite being a villain, he tries to avoid harming children or elderly at all, and also doesn't like taking hostages. However, he has no qualms about stealing or beating up heroes for cash. In Charlie's mind, the real villains are the ones who uphold the system - bankers, business owners, they all have more money than they need, so why not 'redistribute' the wealth a bit?
  • Powers:
    • Self-Biokinesis: Apex's power is total control over his own biology. He can change his physical characteristics at will, even shapeshifting himself into other people or animals, regenerate his body and push himself beyond human limits. This ability works at a cellular level, so he can even fool DNA scanners. His powers will always act to keep him alive even if he isn't conscious, prioritizing his survival above all else. His consciousness isn't tied to a physical brain, either, so he can theoretically survive even if reduced to a puddle, though it would take time and biomass to reconstitute himself.
    • Upgrades: Apex in his villain identity is clad in 'armor' that's actually just a chitinous exoskeleton of his own creation. All of his clothes are likewise actually part of his own biology. He possesses superhuman senses, strength, agility, and durability, and has functionally limitless stamina due to being able to repair his own muscles at will.
    • Biomass: Apex's powers notably don't violate conservation of mass, meaning in order to push himself beyond human, he needs biological material to work with. He can consume any living thing for sustenance - plant, animal, fungus, or otherwise - and store the excess material in his body. Excessive use of his abilities can 'burn' through this biomass store, and any damage he sustains will eat into his reserves. There's also a hard limit on how much he can store in his body at one time. Too much biomass, and his body won't be able to support itself under its own weight.
  • Gear: N/A
  • Backstory: His powers, according to his parents, were inheirited from a great grand-uncle that had died in the line of superhero work. Charlie didn't quite care. He figured that going out in spandex and punching bad guys was a thankless job. So at the tender age of 16, he left home and joined a gang of fellow teenage supervillains, as many boys his age do. Using his shapeshifting abilities to avoid detection and wisely only knocking over small stores, the kinds of places a non-powered person could conceivably rob, meant the authorities had minimal idea that a supervillain was even involved. While Charlie was content to rake in the dough from dozens of small robberies, the leader of the gang - who went by 'Demolition' - decided to take a step up and rob the largest bank in town. They succeeded... and then, as they were leaving, the heroes arrived. The other three members of the gang left in Demolition's truck while Apex distracted the heroes that had come to aprehend them. Apex was left to fend for himself. Somehow he managed to escape, and returned to their hideout, but his comrades were nowhere to be found. They'd skipped town, and Apex was now alone.
    • Dark Bank contacted him not long after, thanks in no small part to a picture of Apex in his armor being posted to a local newspaper. He leaped at the opportunity, and now resolves, after he graduates, to get some vengeance on the so-called 'teammates' that abandoned him.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

  • Real Name: Eva Cueto
  • Villain Name: The Drake
  • Age: 18
  • Course: Mastermind
  • Appearance: Short and curvy, wearing a lot of pop-art streetwear. Eva is about 5'2.
  • Villain uniform: Eva wears a very simple outfit so that her powers work at their best; she hides her face with a hard, angular steel helmet over her eyes and nose, a similar metal chestpiece, and a black bodysuit aver the rest of herself. The bodysuit is fragile so that her shapeshifting can work fine, but the helmet and chestpiece both have secondary straps to keep them steady on her.
  • Personality: The Drake is your classic dragon. Miserly and opulent at the same time, she is obsessed with the accumulation of wealth and value above all else. Second to that is kidnapping and ogling attractive humans, but now that she's in the public eye as a student she's trying to keep a lid on that. She thinks lowly of those lesser than her if they aren't fully submissive, and while minions are all well and good for her as another form of loot she will always respect a go-getter who gets shit done on their own.
  • Powers: Partial dragon transformation. The Drake can shapeshift to manifest one trait of a dragon at a time from the list of classic European looks: fire breath, a scent for gold and gems, crushing jaws, or scaly, clawed limbs. She can also manifest minor tricks like a tail, lizardy eyes with secondary eyelids, and other miscellaneous dragony traits, but these are way less useful.
  • Gear: Eva has loads of stolen and hoarded wealth, but a great deal of it isn't liquid, tied up in stocks, patents, futures, and real estate.
  • Backstory: Eva grew up in coastal Spain to a pair of wealthy bank oligarchs in a luxurious lifestyle. They joked while she was young that she was an even grabbier and greedier baby than most, and it only got worse as she got older. Shoplifting quickly escalated into mysterious arsons, and for her matter Eva felt very slick and cool with her powers. It didn't last long however—she kidnapped the wrong kid. You kidnap a Dark Bank member's kid and there's hell to pay, of course there is. The pursuit was long, and went off the rails fast; The Drake ran out of safehouses, and got cornered in the woods with a wildfire quickly spreading and a team of fixers after her. However, like so many other kids, she was given an offer instead of a bullet. Met with her match for the first time in her life, The Drake signed on in order to figure out just how deep the underworld went, and how many riches she could acquire within.
  • Miscellaneous: Anything you can think of that doesn't fit into any of the other categories.

Now the powers might be a bit wonky. I understand if they need clarification or some re-working, but hopefully the gist comes across. tongue

  • Real Name: Blake Wyatt
  • Villain Name: Grayson Monoch
  • Age: 16
  • Course: Mastermind
  • Appearance: The Checkered Prince himself (outfit can change of course)
    • Villain uniform: Grayson Monoch wears a simple black and white three-piece suit. That is, half black, half white; the left half of the suit is white while the right half of it is black. He also wears a mask that covers his face, only the black/white sides are switched.
  • Personality: How does a super villain act? Pompous, selfish, righteous. All these are traits of the up-and-coming villain, Grayson Monoch, a ruthless man of great mental fortitude and more than a little ego... or rather, that's what he'd like you to believe. Beneath the bluster of his villainous persona, Blake is a pretty affable kid. He's upbeat and outgoing, and even a bit friendly. He's also easily excitable and prone to competitive streaks, always wanting to push himself and others to do better. But Blake's lies are rooted in truth; for all his "good" traits, the heavily intense attitude he puts on as Monoch isn't entirely an act. Blake is self-centered, never actually caring for anyone or anything but himself, and his friendless is off-set by a twistedly villainous worldview. Sometimes, it's hard to even tell which side of his personality is supposed to be fake.
  • Powers: Monochrome. Control over Black and White. Blake's power is actually two separate powers morphed into one! Well, kind of. The specifics are a bit more complicated.note
    • Blake's right side produces a pitch black smokiness, a destructive and powerful energy. Blake can destroy anything he touches - decaying plantlife, crumbling stone, rusting metal - and has minimal control over the ensuing debris, kicking up the scraps and pieces like a swarm of bugs or miniature tornadoes. He can also vary the power of it, from simple disrepair to full-on disintegration. Of course, it only works if Blake is touching whatever he wants to affect, as well as larger items and further damage requiring more time to do so. Alternatively, Blake is capable of performing a slow, gradual destruction from a single touch, but this of course takes much longer than normal.
    • On the other hand, Blake can create a bright white light-based energy from his left hand, a force of purity and control. With it, Blake can move/operate/lift/control anything within a certain distance from himself (let's say, 20 feet?). Whatever he "takes over" turns a stark white and can be acted upon with little more than a thought. Another effect of his White powers is that Blake is able to repair such things. It takes some time to do so, especially if there's more to fix, and is dependent on Blake's own knowledge of the item (i.e., simple machines are easy to piece back together but complex technology won't be getting back to normal). An odd quirk of Monochrome, however, is that Blake's ability to put things back together works better on things he destroyed himself. He's even capable of piecing together the smallest bits of debris back together if he's the one that made them.
  • Gear: The only thing of note is that his mask contains a small voice-changer, used to make him sound deeper when he's wearing it, of course.
  • Backstory: For the longest time, there was one rivalry between hero and villain that made the news time and time again; the angelic Lady Honor vs the shadowy Nightfall. Their fights were always well-fought, always nail-biting, always evenly matched. Though unbeknownst to the many citizens that watched these fights, the heroine and villain were in an affair. The illicit relationship went on for years under the public's nose, until the evidence became too obvious to ignore. Lady Honor was pregnant. She took a sabbatical from the superhero business in order to have the child, and nine months later little Blake was born. Unfortunately, with Lady Honor not around to "fight" Nightfall, the villain was soundly defeated and locked away. Too ashamed for many reasons, Lady Honor delivered newborn Blake to an orphanage, with the hopes that he'll meet his father some day. Nightfall wasn't a bad person, deep down, and she could only hope that the boy will have some sort of family.
    • For most of his childhood, Blake didn't know who his parents were, and that was okay. He was more than happy with his caretakers and fellow orphans. But one day, soon after his 6th birthday, a mysterious figure came and took him away during the night. The freshly escaped convict Nightfall has found out he had a son, and was eager to see him! Of course, stealing a child when you just broke out of jail is a serious offense, so Nightfall deigned to raise the boy in secret. As Nightfall returned to villainy, he kept a close eye on his son, raising Blake as if he were a normal child - for all his evil acts, Nightfall did not want the boy to be raised to be a criminal. Lady Honor would go absolutely mad if he did. However, even the best laid plans have flaws. Blake knew who his father was, but not his mother, and so developed a villain-obsessed mindset as he grew older. He loved the idea of a great and powerful person going against the normalcy of life, fighting against the forces of good, and strengthening both sides of the conflict each time. It came to a head around Blake's 16th birthday, when he decided to cement his dream to be one of the greatest villains of all time... by doing what his father could never do and beat Lady Honor.
    • During yet another one of his parents' bouts, Blake revealed himself in his hand-made getup and under the alias of "Grayson Monoch". Blake had developed and self-trained his unique powers while his father was busy with his crimes, and while he shared both Lady Honor's light manipulation and Nightfall's shadowmancy, they manifested in entirely different fashions. As such, neither mother nor father could tell that Grayson Monoch was actually their son. And he caught them off-guard. Before Lady Honor could retaliate in kind, Grayson Monoch managed to entrap her in a section of dilapidated building (that had been demolished during the previous fight), allowing Nightfall to succeed in his plans. Unfortunately, Blake had stalled the heroine long enough for reinforcements to arrive, and Nightfall was quickly captured once more. But Blake didn't mind. He knew his father would be free soon enough, and now there was nobody to keep Blake from the outside world, and he was finally free to blossom as a villain! At least, that was the case, before the Academy scouted him out...
