Yeah, this is pretty subjective, since not all players will experience this, especially in newer games. Of the two moves you suggested, it should at least be YMMV. I'm hesitant to call for a Darth Wiki or Flame Bait move unless it's a complaint magnet; I skimmed some of the on-page examples they tend to stick to the "Where do I go now?" aspect without being overly negative about it.

2 ÷ 0Definitely YMMV.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!YMMV.
Current Project: The TeamYMMV.
If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with? What they said.
Check out my fanfiction!YMMV.
Optimism is a duty.Anyone else?
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!Nobody's objected to this being classified as subjective. Do we already have enough consensus?
2 ÷ 0Counting 8 to 0 for subjective so far.
Optimism is a duty.YMMV.
(Annoyed grunt)Overwhelming consensus to make it YMMV. Go.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"It's on the YMMV page. Would it fit better on Audience Reactions?
Let's start moving wicks.
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand!I think it's fine on YMMV.Home Page, and the description you wrote for it is probably fine as-is. The open world aspect is something that's objectively there and intended to be there, and the subjective part is how different players experience it (mainly when it comes to navigating it).
Edit: Did some wick migration in the VideoGame/ namespace and VideoGame.Cereal Soup mentions it in the description instead of the example list. I'm assuming it's harmless, because it talks about the creators wanting to make a Wide-Open Sandbox without involving Quicksand Box.
Edit: I think I got all the wicks for non-YMMV Main/ pages. The only ones left in Main/ should either be in indexes or descriptions, with the exception being a Web Video game review example that was merely discussing Quicksand Box.
Edit: I think I got all the wicks for trope-specific pages that aren't for YMMV tropes. The main wicks left should be ones in video game trope lists, since I took care of the Roleplay/ and TabletopGame/ wicks and marked in-universe wicks for Web Original works.

2 ÷ 0Wick migration should be complete. Remaining wicks that aren't in the YMMV namespace should be in-universe/discussed examples (like discussion in Web Original works), wicks on pages for other YMMV tropes, and above-the-line wicks.

2 ÷ 0I added a message on the trope's discussion page. Motion to close?
Contains 20% less fat than the leading value brand! All right then, closing.

This trope is based on the player's impression of the game, effectively making it an Audience Reaction, so it probably belongs under YMMV or Darth Wiki.
