Basically the main plot is that poor Olapen is trapped in hir (shi's an hermaphrodite) own mind by an octopus entity via being drowned in a lake (it's complicated) and thus she's stuck with hir own memories to accompany hir and thus the entire story is set in hir Mental World- which makes it even moe complicated when a third-party enters the Mental World to rescue hir since the enviroment is always changing.
So I need a way to make the enviroment more stable and physical, if you will.

So basically most of my wip draft The Caged Phoenix takes place in the mindscape (mental landscape) of one succubus named Olapen, so the scenes shift around quite often due to Olapen's random moods and/or desires. How do I make her (Olapen's) mindscape more concrete in nature and physical (set in an actual location)? How do I depict past memories? How do I depict desires?
