Deconstructed Character Archetype shares a page image with Monster.Comic Books. I suppose the latter might be easier to replace, so we might want to get the guys from the Monster thread involved.

I agree, it'd probably be easier to find a pic for the CM page.

Well, here are some possibilities, from Complete Monster (I've excluded the DC and Marvel ones, as well as ones from franchises with their own pages):

Alternatively, if we want to replace the pic on Deconstructed Character Archetype, does this get Messianic Archetype across well enough? This is a case where the deconstruction is itself a trope, however.

^ What's that monolith in the back? Is this pic free to use?

4 is too symbolic for my taste. I don't see a deconstructed archetype just by looking at it. The same applies for the current image on the page.

The current image is bad, because the character doesn't really look like Superman, and, in fact, with the blonde crew cut he looks more like a supervillain. So without having read the comic you don't even know which archetype is deconstructed there.

Willbyr asked me to make a crowner for this thread, but I think we're actually leaning towards just pulling the current from Deconstructed Character Archetype and calling it a day.

Yeah, pull current from Deconstructed Character Archetype.

Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods of Incremental)

Dunno if the deconstruction is strong enough here, but I feel some of the panels (maybe the second and third row) could be used to picture how the Batman archetype (brooding, lonely vigilante) can be deconstructed?

The clock's up and the consensus is to pull the pic, so it's gone and the page is tagged. Locking up.
