...I realized that in order to check for interest there should be something to actually be interested in. That is, I probably should've included my plans for the roleplay when I first made the thread instead of doing so now.
Hindsight sure is 20/20, huh.
But anyways, here are the ideas I've drummed up regarding this RP. Of course, they aren't final and are subject to discussion and change!
- Concept: For the most part, I expect this to stay roughly the same as the two previous threads; a gaggle of characters get pulled from their home universes to participate (mostly unwillingly) in a highly popular reality television show that was created and funded by a shadowy overly-powerful organization. They'll complete in a series of challenges, both based in canon material and not, while trying to live together and stir up tons of drama. You know, all the fun stuff!
- Challenges: A good half of the point of the roleplay would, of course, be dedicated to the many challenges the contestants are put through. What I'm thinking is that there would be two types of challenges. The first kind would be big series of connected challenges set in a certain canon, themed around that world. Then there's a second kind of challenge which will be smaller, shorter, bite-sized morsels of fun, typically set apart from any one canon and doing its own thing. Not to say the smaller challenges will be devoid of crossover-esque shenanigans.
- Host: Now, the main reason I was interested in a comeback - or at least the first idea that popped into my head - was who was going to host the game. The last two games had an original host that was hired by the so-called Producers. For this go around, I was actually thinking of including a similar crossover'd host in the form of Chris McLean
. He's sassy, self-centered, loves being on the big screen and has a knack for making people suffer. What better host could you ask for?
- Confessionals and Teams: Another trademark of competitive reality show is the confessional. You know, those clips of footage where the contestants talk to the camera about what's currently happening, recorded after the fact. It was present during Pandemonium (I'm not sure if it was a thing in Nemesis) and I think it'd be a fun addition to bring back! Also, mostly unrelated, the team-based structure of Nemesis will make a comeback as well, to add to the dynamics and bring up a lot of potential upheavals and betrayals and whatnot. The exact nature of how the teams are formed is up in the air for the moment, though.
Again, nothing here is concrete, might change, or so on. I'm merely trying to give people an idea of what sort of roleplay I want to bring to the table... which I should've done in the first place, but here we are!

So!
For those that don't know, a couple years back the third season of A Game of Gods opened up with a thread called Nemesis, which was a team-based roleplay based off those competitive reality shows like Big Brother or Survivor I think. It was later replaced with Pandemonium, a similar concept just without the teams. Neither roleplay managed to stick around.
I was thinking that such a scenario would be perfect for a crossover - a bundle of eccentric people from different walks of like living in close proximity and made to face off in challenging and varied challenges - so I thought i would try my hand at reviving it!
I've already got a handful of ideas to add to the roleplay, so if any of you would want to bring this concept back to life, please say so!
