-Ryusei's body seems to be relaxing just a tad, at least.-

-He just feels so tired, drained, and ill. A lot of it is the lack of sleep, the caffeine overdose/crash, and the stress... but the fact that he's mentally pushed himself so hard on top of it just makes it even worse.-

"...I think so..."

-Not much. Just enough to settle down a bit.-

-He's been trying to keep quiet about it, but his birthday is on January 20th. He only showed up a few days after that.-

(Well, she was asking about how long the poor kid's been in the Breezy Place, wondering about the stash of coffee cups that may have been collecting on the floor, but this overrides it.)

-The narrator is simultaneously horrifically embarrassed and pleased about her mistake in interpreting Sthesia's question.-

"...I have no idea what's going on back home... I don't know if time's frozen, I don't know if Mom and Dad are worried about me..."

-...He wants to believe his dad would have a good feeling of what happened. His dad always had this weird sixth sense involving things, and if he knew then it'd... simultaneously make things better and worse at the same time.-

-On one hand, he'll know exactly where Ryusei ended up and he and Ryusei's mom wouldn't have to scramble to wonder where he went and try to find him.-

-On the other hand... they'll know exactly where Ryusei ended up, and this place is absolutely nuts. There's no telling what'll happen to Ryusei here, and if the two of them are aware of the place...-

-He's honestly stuck wondering what's going on back home...-

-...What would his dad do...? Honestly, anytime he asks himself that question, he just gets:-

<Imagine it! Imagination will become your strength!>

-Every.-

<It's difficult to picture it, but the more you try, the more clear the image will become!>

-Single.-

<I know that image will appear before you, Ryusei. I didn't see it at first either...>

-Ryusei just finds himself thinking to that stupid line... He wasn't aware it was possible to love and hate words of encouragement so much...-

"...I'm supposed to imagine it, right...? Imagine being stronger... Dad always said things like that..."

-...Well, his dad would say the same thing as well, but...-

"...She'd be more down to Earth than Dad with her advice..."

Peter grabs Otto's hand and whisks him into the air as the turret fires, missing them. "The case —"

They fling outside, smoke blowing in their faces from below. Air pressure from behind them grows — fire trucks are headed in the direction opposite them.

   So you are!

Perhaps we are, perhaps we aren't~... Eheheh!

   What nice, stout little humans you are, too~... And what, pray tell, brings you to this decaying building?   

Streets

(Quickly thwips up another web to nab the briefcase despite a very nasty sounding bout of coughing.)

Streets — Spider-Man and Electro

A roar can be heard from behind them, and a pulse pushes them forward — Peter releases and uses the momentum to further them both — but the fire truck in front has its front lifted into the air, flipping over the other, stopping them both in their tracks.

"We're close, I know that!" Peter shouts.

Hospital

"I seek fitting housing."

Streets

Hhh... Just a bit further, you glow-in-the-dark imbecile...

(Tosses the webbed briefcase up atop the overturned fire truck, webbing onto the truck with his other hand so he can vault over.)

Hospital

   Oooh... So you're truly the sort of person who would live here...~? Even as it's cold at night, dark in the day, full of cobwebs and secrets and body parts preserved in a strange fluid within jars...?   

   (Clasps their little mothy hand together.)

They arrive at the park, zipping throughout as the air around them starts conducting electricity —

"Sorry!!" Peter says as he releases Otto and falls, grabbing Electro by the neck as he lets gravity drag them down towards the lake below...!

-Aichi finally has some time to himself after having been so sick. It was honestly rather scary... He's never been sick like that before...-

-...Still... at least he feels like he's back to normal...-

-The kid's sitting down on a bench, looking through his cards.-

-A squirrel in the tree watches Aichi closely-

-Then throws a tiny nut at his head-

-Aichi actually moves his head out of the way, as if sensing the projectile.-

-...Not that he literally sensed it. It's just that he's been trained to deal with that sort of thing.-

-He immediately springs up, stashing his deck away, looking around...-

-...Only to see the nut on the ground next to him.-

"???"

-OK, he's definitely confused. Why did someone throw a nut at him?-

-He starts looking around again, less on high alert and more just trying to find out who did it and why.-

Park

-Aichi, there's a squirrel-

-Waving at you-

-Aichi sees the squirrel waving, and tilts his head a little.-

-Do squirrels normally do that...? Heck, he's barely aware that waving can mean a greeting or beckoning someone. Having a squirrel do it just makes it even more odd.-

"Hello..."

-He manages to, uh... greet the squirrel.-

-His expression is only vaguely confused. His tone has more confusion present than his face, actually. Still not much though...-

Gordon's Apartment

GF: Completely understandable.

GF: Am presently employed at local university and working alongside other theoretical physicists.

GF: Can ask around to see if any of the literati knows of a means of exit.

GF: Do you know where you are, exactly?

(Spite-spikes the suitcase into the water from his agony-slump on the shore, aiming to where it'll hopefully splash right in Electro's dumb face.)

(Of course, the freak will be going in the drink anyway, but Otto is hurtin' like a motherfucker and mad as hell about it.)

A piercing roar echoes through the air as they crash into the water, its surface quickly starting to display bubbling and arcs of electricity jumping throughout, going on for a length of seconds before it stops.
