The hell was in those pineapples?
Gabrielle, at the moment, has nothing more to say other than unintelligible attempts at speech, despite the many questions she has. This whole situation is so bizarre that she's at a loss for words.
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying inside"Well, if they wanna be in our crew, I say we let them for now. We're kind of in the middle of something, remember?"
Melvin looks around and sniffs the air a little.
"We're getting close. I can feel it. We'd better start wrapping up our storytelling. So, who hasn't gone yet? The twins, of course, and..."
"Sennen! Would you like to tell your story? I'm sure many of us would like to know."
Very good kitty"Aye, alright..."
Sennen has long since calmed down after her aggressive reaction to the sudden appearance of the twins.
"So, most of you lot knew this already, but I'm Princess Sennen of Kharland. Actual bloody royalty. No tragic backstories for me - I was born with a silver spoon in my mouth, and I grew up waited on hand and foot. Everything I wanted, I got. And of course, 'cuz my parents didn't want their darling little girl exposed to all the nasty things that commoners got up to, I was sheltered as fuck.
She smiles wryly.
"Course, that changed eventually. Not in one go, mind, there wasn't some huge event that broke sweet little Princess Sennen's insular world in twain. I just got smart, and then I got angry 'cuz suddenly I was smart enough to realise, hey, I'd done nothing to deserve all this privilege! Monarchy is stupid! I was stupid!"
"That's why I got into the whole privateering business, see. I wanted to be out there doing something with my life, not just lounging 'round on a throne mooching off the common people. Sailing the seas seemed ideal, even if I still had to wait for Mum and Dad to tell me where to go... eh, you win some, you lose some. Least I didn't have to suffocate in a dress any more."
Hail majestic corporate light, heaven born and ever bright!I don't blame ya, I'm not convinced those two aren't some of Cleo's spies in disguise, so, uh, I'm trying to make myself scarce, too. (Ira says to Kauri, feeling at bit embarrassed to admit that he's nervous about the two new arrivals himself. He tries to think of what to disguise himself as.)

"Hey, least I didn't lose all my artistic talent when I crash landed in the arena here."Ezekiel...ignores the twins for now...two children on this boat to be concerned with is enough already, four may as well be right out. Or is that five?
"A fellow privateer," the raccoon says with a smirk. It does somewhat baffle him a little how she'd used the profession to get away from affluence as opposed to towards it. Then again, considering the other contracted privateers he's rubbed shoulders with (and sometimes more than that, though there are children aboard), his relation to the field isn't one most would consider traditional. It should also be considered their trajectories have differed in more than just how they interact with the upper class, her essentially starting at the top of the social ladder as it where, and him coming in on the middle rungs after...
...he settles his gaze on the rolling ocean sitting on the horizon to help clear his mind.
"Oh, alright." Kauri tries to get a mental recap surrounding the time he fell asleep. "Um… we were just telling stories, right? Did… did anyone else go while I was sleeping?" He asked, meekly twiddling with his fingers.
If I don't clash, I don't change. The world ends at my borders, and the best moments slip away.Gabrielle opens her mouth to interject, but she then decides against it. She was still somewhat stunned by the twins' sudden appearance, but she had other things on her mind.
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying inside"Wha- uh, me? But-"
She takes a deep breath, only to pause for a moment as the rest of the crew stares at her. All these people, all these diverse backgrounds, all these stories to be told... and what did she have to offer?
Nothing. Zip. Zero. Nada. Most of her life, gone...
"I KNOW NOTHING!!!"
Hey how you doing well I'm doing just fine I lied I'm dying insideIt's a while before Gabrielle responds to Melvin's question. She takes a deep breath and, not remembering that there's kids around, says:
"It's just... two years ago, I woke up in some random-ass town knowing fuck-all where I was. Some kind of back alley, but that's it. Looked like I escaped from an, uh, asylum or some shit like that. A-anyways... yeah. S'all I got..."

"Uh... what are you doing?"
I can't think of a good signature.
