Even closer to Klaer, something is visible in the water - a weathered stone platform, jutting out from the beach into the ocean. Worn as it is, the shape is still far too perfectly cuboidal for this to be a natural structure. It must be a pier, or at the very least, was once a pier. No boats are docked there, and there's certainly nobody manning it.
Jerrid notes the apparent landing space as the boat inches ever closer to this island. It's immediately clear, too, that nobody is manning this pier.
Looks like this is where we get off...only problem is...where is the harbormaster?
Jane steps out on deck, drinking some unknown substance as she watches the island approach. "Land-ho, huh? Nifty nifty. Hey, Kau, how ya fee-"
She looks to Kauri, a concerned look on your face.
"... He hasn't gotten a shirt yet?"

Kauri simply shivers, his arms wrapping around himself. At this point, the cold is waking him up, but not completely.
"... Awww, hold on." Jane grabs at the bottom of her shirt, starting to pull up...
Before pausing, realizing she only has one shirt on.
She instead ducks down, patting him gently on his head.
"Hold on, bud. I'll get ya a spare." She says, as she makes her leave. Quickly, she returns with a big, baggy shirt and quickly slapping it on that boy.
... It's loose. But it works!
Kauri groggily registers clothing being put on him. It's noticeably better than not having one. He settles into it, mumbling something that's supposed to be a thank you, and tries to lean on Jane. Despite his horns bumping her arm first, he tilts his head and goes back to sleep while the rest of the crew figure out the docking.

No harbormaster. After searching up and down the dock for any sign of such a person Jerrid simply couldn't find them. Upon recognition of this very thing he tried to look amongst the others, moving also to try and rouse a sleeping Sennen by laying a paw on her shoulder and shaking as he does.
Uh, guys...we gotta park this thing somewhere here...I don't think they have anyone coming to help us park this thing...
Sennen's eyes flutter open. Being the type who takes a while to come to her senses when she wakes, all she really comprehends at first is oh my gods the woofer is pawing at me so cute. She smiles and mumbles something incomprehensible, yet cheerful-sounding.
Guess we'll just have to drop anchor and swim to shore or something. (Ira says, standing up.)
She's clearly still not completely up and at it yet. Jerrid tries again to rouse Sennen before having to break to find the anchor.
Come help me anchor this thing!
Jerrid scurries off to attempt to drop the anchor, seeking help from any of the others as he does.
Now that he has finished serving dinner to the crew, Victor has returned to the kitchen to tidy everything up. His first attempt at cooking turned out much better than he expected, and he is happy to have finally been able to do something good for the crew. Cooking was even kind of fun... since he wasn't really a good fighter, maybe this was how he was meant to help around here after all?
He finishes wiping the clean bowls, humming a little tune that he heard the captain singing at the steering wheel before.
(Ira follows Jerrid to the anchor and begins dropping it.)
(Meanwhile, Pablo and "Estelle" are catching up to the boat. Someone above deck may be able to notice them approaching by this point.)
With Ira's assistance Jerrid drops the anchor into the water. As he can feel the boat begin to grind to a halt under his feet, he turns around himself and walks back to the others to try and rouse them.
Alright guys, this should be where we get off. Anyone wanna drop the ramp?
He doesn't see the approaching whale shark and salamander, yet all the same knows someone's catching up to the boat...
...then decides it's probably a good idea to just get it himself while he's over at the other end of the boat. He kicks it down onto the pier and looks back behindnhim.
He begins to head off.

Slowly lifting her head at the sound of the anchor and ramp dropping, it finally dawns on Sennen that they've reached the island.
"...is this the place, then?"
She sits up and rubs her eyes, giving herself a few seconds to reach full alertness. God knows what might happen if she pursues a Shard while half-asleep.
Hearing the different sounds of metal and wood being moved around, Kauri awakens (for real this time) and gets up on his feet. He yawns and stretches his body before making his way to the ramp. Wearing a shirt is doing wonders to protect him from the elements, but it's still a bit too chilly for comfort, so he crosses his arms to conserve warmth.
Yep... (Ira says to Sennen as he begins to head to the ramp.) You know, I was expecting at least one person to be out here. I wonder if anyone even lives here.
Hello?? (An unfamiliar voice calls from over the side of the ship.)
(A bit startled, Ira looks around.) Uh, I guess one person does, unless that was one of you guys or something.
Sennen shrugs at Ira's first comment.
"Duane did say there weren't many of them left."
If she had anything else to say, the sudden new voice takes her mind off of it. She quickly leans over the side, staring down at the newt and whale shark in obvious confusion.
Gabrielle comes back up from below deck, now with a quilted petticoat and some wool stockings she found down there. It isn't until she hears the unfamiliar voice that she scrambles her way to the side of the ship.
"Ay! Who's down there?"

Mikaela casually moved over to the side of the ship as well, leaning a bit over the side to see the newt and whale shark.
Jerrid stops to look back behind him at the whale shark and newt.
What business do you have with us?
Kauri sleepily waves at the shark and newt, not really understanding what's going on, and rubs his eyes.
(The cyan newt waves with both arms.) Ahoy up there! (She calls.) I don't mean to intrude upon whatever it is you all are doing, but I've been lost for hours and probably would still be lost if not for this fine fellow here!
(Pablo waves with one of his fins.)
Would you give me a hand? I haven't eaten anything in hours. (She finishes.)
(Ira looks to the others.) We can bring her up here or bring some food out to her, right?
Jerrid pads over just enough to catch a full glimpse of the newt and her whale companion. Upon taking the request for food into account Jerrid looks around then back.
I mean, we still have an extra bowl of soup lying around I think. Victor made some for us earlier, why don't you come close enough and just hop aboard so we can give you some? The alternative is getting onto the pier and heading deeper into the island.

Sennen is still just staring down at the two newcomers. Mentally, she's trying to parse what's going on with the whale shark. They're not supposed to look like that, are they?
"I say we take the food down to them. We're about to get off anyway, right?"
Ooh, soup sounds wonderful. This water is awfully cold anyway. (The newt says.)
Well, we'll get some for you if we have any, then! (Ira says.)
(He turns to the others.) I'll go see if we do have any left. Guess we'll just take some fruit out to her if there isn't any, though. (He moves to go below deck.)
(In the meantime, Pablo climbs onto the stone pier. If it wasn't obvious already that Pablo was no ordinary whale shark, it definitely is now given the pair of legs he has in place of his tail fin and the fact that he is leaving the water at all with no apparent issue. The newt wearily jumps down from the top of his head and sits on the side of the pier, waiting for the crew to come down.)
