Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
I think you may have missed the point of the trope, but it's still problematic for different reasons: Temporary Super Star is about a character inexplicably becoming more talented for one episode, but most examples read more like it's about characters becoming a Mary Sue for one episode (even linking to Mary Sue Tropes, which is not allowed due to being Flame Bait).
Berserk Button: misusing Nightmare Fuel
Like I said, this "trope" is really nothing but an attempt to sneak in complaints. Other than cutting it, the only option I'd say makes sense would be to treat it the same as any other Mary Sue trope (that is, declaring it to be Flame Bait and giving it an Example Sectionectomy).
I don't see a reason to keep it as a Flame Bait trope, given how little content this has.
I created a crowner for now.

The first line is a pretty reasonable laconic: "A normal character becomes able to succeed at nearly everything he or she attempts but only temporarily." This is, imo, an obvious attempt at a Mary Sue trope rather than OP's suggestion that it's an outright duplicate.
I'm not sure how reviving a Mary Sue flame bait would improve the wiki. It was dead on arrival and it seems pointless to send it to TLP (where it would either be totally different anyway or an improved Mary Sue trope that we don't necessarily want). And I can't see it as Flame Bait other than the fact that it's a Mary Sue trope. I mean, if it were real flame bait it would have more than one wick... It likewise seems pointless to make it Flame Bait as is.
I say just cut it.
Look at all that shiny stuff ain't they pretty7:0 in favour of cutting the page. All other options are in the red.

Crown Description:
What would be the best way to fix the page?

Temporary Super Star only has 5 wicks and 24 inbounds, despite being years old (history goes back to 2012). Since 2012, it has been edited 9 times.
This trope appears practically identical to Superpowers for a Day, or any other of the "temporarily gets more powerful" tropes.
Here are the wicks:
Note that the redirects are all on the cutlist, as they are unused (2 of them had one wick to YMMV Redirects).
Note there are 6 examples on the trope page, but only 1 is cross-wicked (mentioned above in the wick check).
I suggest we just cut the page, as there are plenty of other tropes that cover the content here.
Edit: The redirects have minimal inbounds. Removed statement that they had none.
