Who will be the Horror movie villain rep?
Isn't Shao Khan supposed to be dead?
Ah, i see he is the Goro of this game.
Good, good. Can't wait to see what new stuff they throw at us this time.
The best part of that entire trailer was making it look like Scorpion got rekt...only for another Scorpion to come out of nowhere and one-shot Raiden like a punk.
That trailer music fucking sucks.
Phew.
I guess we're gonna see how things go for Raiden now. Considering how ruthless he is as Dark Raiden, he's likely on the outs with all his old allies, to say nothing of those who are still pissed at him for getting them killed.
Apparently, it's a rule that every MK trailer has to show Scorpion winning.
I'm in. I played the shit out of MKX.
Great pre-order kharacter choice too, since we haven't been able to (legally) play as Shao Kahn since before NRS existed.
Nice that the game is coming out in Spring too, despite the delayed announcement compared to other Netherrealm games.

I’m impressed that it wasn’t Scoprion vs Sub-Zero this time.
I look forward to the shit Dark Raider is gonna pull.
And if the multiple Scorpions mean something or not.
I think it's supposed to imply that the original timeline is bleeding into the new one, or something along those lines.
Hope creepy hourglass lady is an indication that we’ll actually see something of the Elder Gods.

>Raiden
>Shinnok
>Freaky dragon things at the end of MK9
Elder Gods are not exactly shy in the first place.

Fine, something new from the Elder Gods and more interesting than tiny dragons that were on screen for 2 minutes.
If it involves original timeline, count me in. The new timeline just made me face-frickin' palm to the story.
But then again, NRS hates Southeast Asia and always gave their games shitty online there, so I'm not sure.

Raiden isn't an elder god.
Otherwise though, yeah. We've seen a few.

Boy am I excited for Emperor Liu-Kang to go up against Dark Raiden.
Evil vs Evil is squally never not cool, those two really are the best aren’t they?
Let’s bring on the brutal war.

I just want Jade back.
So there's rumors that a whole lot of characters aren't coming back, including some mainstays, and while I'll miss some of them, I think it's time for a Third Strike-type change to the roster now that Netherrealm proved they can create better characters than the scrubs from the 128-bit era.
Wasn't X the kind of 'Third Strike' already, what with the new gens? Granted, some old school characters still return, but it already started the 'new generation' thing...
Though it's more accurate to call it the 'Tekken 3'.
"Who will be the Horror movie villain rep?"
I'm not big on Horror movies myself, but I'm gonna be the oddball and say The Human Centipede.
That should make for some very interesting dialogue.
Scorpion reappearing after headsploding (Unless that was just another member of the Shirai Ryu) and Shao Kahn being Back from the Dead makes me think that some ressurection magic might be at play, something Onaga could do and Havik took advantage of. I definitely expect the latter to appear, he shows up in extra material all the time despite not being playable in 9 or 10.
Patrick Seitz gets screwed that he's not gonna be Scorpion. Even NRS didn't tell him about this.
That wasn't him in the trailer? Because that definitely sounded like him.
Just as a heads up since the OP didn't say it, it is coming to all current platforms other than mobile.
It will also be the first MK game on a Nintendo platform since Deception.
Ha shit one of the bloodiest, most goriest games on the market on Nintendo console.
Ah the amusement.
Coming April 23rd:
Definitely a pre-order for me. The last two games were my favorites in the series.
