I posted this in the TLP crash rescue thread (link) in case that thread is better suited to this, since this was launched this year.
Edit: As I said in that thread, I wasn't trying to state any opinions on this trope; I only intended to cross-reference the two threads.

You can't always get what you want.I may be a bit biased since I had a strong involvement in helping Godlike Gamer develop on TLP, but there is a clear distinction between the two tropes. Godlike Gamer focuses on video games exclusively, while King of Games seems to be just all gaming in general.
The examples on GG are much more thorough and detailed, not to mention outnumbers KOG by quite a large extent. I say let them each exist.
^ If we go that route, all video game examples from King of Games should be moved to Godlike Gamer (note: not the Video Game section) and the descriptions be updated to clarify the relationship between both tropes.

I would be fine making it a subtrope.
Yeah, as I mentioned on the TLP thread, I'd be fine with making this a subtrope.

I used to participate in the making of the trope Godlike Gamer, but I've only found the older trope King of Games just recently.
What should we do with them?
