Spottedleaf's second death in Warrior Cats, which basically made her cease to exist, felt unwarranted to me, like it was designed to anger her fans (she was the only reason I continued reading the series). I was so passionate about her that I felt like I had lost a real life friend. So I'll say her.

The Thunder Cats franchise.

They were all beautiful (even Dirge to a certain extent). And yet I killed them.

Tyreese from AMC's The Walking Dead. That dude was the heart of the apocalypse and my favorite character.
"Can't make an omelette without breaking some children." -BurA few characters from my other fandoms who I'd revive:
-Let Teddy Lupin have at least one living parent, dangit! I wouldn't care if it was Remus or Tonks, but the poor kid will never know either of his parents and that breaks my heart because they would've been great parents to him.
-Two Words: Ronnie. Raymond. Poor Caitlin already lost him once, twice is way too much! And it also would've been really cool if he had helped her with her Killer Frost issues.
>^owo^<Oh, I should add my own examples, shouldn't I? Well, there's one certain famous character, but I'm 99% sure he's going to come back in some capacity.
Other then that, I recently got to the part in Fullmetal Alchemist where Maes Hughes bites the dust in the manga. He sure did make the most of his limited screen time. I knew it was coming but I was still pretty sad about it.
TV Tropes is my sacred text, and someday I shall use it to conquer the world!I was sad and angry when Stoick was killed in How to Train Your Dragon 2, so I'd definitely want him to be resurrected, especially since he had just reunited with his wife Valka.
Oh, I believe in yesterdayI'm still mad about Merlin in Kingsman: The Golden Circle.

Thomas Flyswatter. It's not absolutely clear that he's dead, but it's heavily implied. I need more of his brand of Evil Is Hammy.

When you're alone I'm reaching out to let you know that you're far from strangers, like the saviorI'd bring the 2012 era of Master Splinter back, he was so important, such a great father figure.
Oh, I believe in yesterday- Jadzia Dax.
- Picky-Picky (c'mon, Ramona's enough of a Butt-Monkey as-is; she doesn't need a dead cat.)
Nobody Nose from Awful Hospital. He's not even just dead, he's been completely Unpersoned. Because of the ridiculous logistics of the setting, it is possible to bring him back, but I doubt it would ever happen because it would be a waste of resources. Sacrificial lambs get me a lot T_T
Inconsistently active.

I tried posting about this topic in the media forums but I didn't know they were supposed to be more specific. Whoopsie, won't happen again! Anyway, the topic is Exactly What It Says on the Tin. Has there ever been a character in any media whose death very much affected you emotionally? If you could travel back in time and prevent it from occurring, would you? A couple of rules: 1. Pick one character per series. 2. They must be absolutely dead. There can be no alternate timeline, universe, route, etc. where they might be alive.
I also have a suggestion that perhaps you should bring up characters whose deaths you feel were unearned. That you feel were done purely for shock value, stuff like that. It's just a suggestion, though.
