So I've watched 2 other vids of the guy − one from October 2016 (about alt-right forums and Trump) and one from August 2017 (about the Unite the Right protests). The evolution from one to the other is quite interesting.
In the former he said he supported Sanders and couldn't stand Clinton, but also called "SJWs" a "problem that we have to fight" and denied any connection between the alt-right and white supremacist circles outside of a small minority, even almost becoming a Trump supporter before he saw the guy's actual platform. In the latter he calls himself a liberal and is much more clear-cut in his condemnation of the far right.
In general he does make good points (especially about violence being counterproductive), although with a very liberal use of the F bomb.
Launched a trope page on the guy now

Does he actually have anything to trope, though? A lot of Youtubers aren't really tropeable.
I've seen a few of hia videos and he's okay, but he seems too real-world commentary to have a page. He also doesn't have any skits like Armoured Skeptic or even an avatar like Viced Rhino or Professor Stick.

I have seen surprisingly little of Dusty Smith here on TV Tropes. Maybe 1 or 2 mentionings on the Drunken Peasants page, but nothing beyond that. He at least deserves a thread. I think Dusty's journey from what he was, to the man that he is today is one of the most positive things I have seen on Youtube. He started as the typical Youtube Atheist. Loud, controversial, often insulting, and more than often towing the line to espousing right-wing talking points in some of his videos (not all of them, some of them hold up even today). Hell, at one point he directly joined the Alt-Right/Sceptic community. But unlike Sargon, Armored Skeptic and all these other assholes, he eventually saw this community for what they really were and completely turned around. He spoke out against them on pretty much every occasion, and he recently became a victim of the same kind of people who got James Gunn fired, right-wing people who dug out years old tweets and mass-reported them, which resulted in him being permanently banned from Twitter. This hasn't stopped him from speaking out against these people however. As of today, he is one of the coolest guys on Youtube for me. Not just for his content, but also for how he spends the rest of his life. He has an animal shelter, where most of his money goes into.
Here is his latest video, where he once again exposes the "sceptic" community for what it truly is - a bunch of hateful bigots
