Can't find a place to talk about toons on Netflix in general, so I made one now.
Mod note
- If you're posting video links to trailers, please try to provide a little context about the show as well.

Netflix is making animated shows based on the books of Roald Dahl!
Expect Matilda, The BFG, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Twits among others!
In fact, we might be looking at a Shared Universe revolving around Roald Dahl!

Of course… hopefully Blue Eyed Samurai is doing well enough to keep going.
There was a time when we all thought Netflix was gonna be a new trailblazer in animation… when we thought they would put out the next Adventure Time… how they have fallen.
We really gotta support their current slate. Kids and adults. And the stuff they are working on too… like the Stranger Things animated series from the Glitch Techs people… and the Star Trek Prodigy animated series. Really gotta show that we want animation.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.I'm still fucking pissed and hold them in gargantuan contempt and disdain for Inside Job. Assholes. Supporting their animation is just too much of an ask at times since requires an emotional investment that may never pay off because they arbitrarily decided to can a show simply because it wasn't making ALL of the money.

That's what happens when you give everything the go. Netflix doesn't listen to criticism because they can cycle through pitches and hope something sticks. Their release model doesn't help, they can't focus on who's continuing to watch what with a single release.
I really don't care. I've learned to hate cliffhangers and simply enjoy what I'm given. This lack of engagement is probably why I haven't been enjoying shows lately.

We are all still ABSOLUTELY LIVID about Inside Job. And Dead End. And the Bone adaptation that never happened.
At least Blue Eye Samurai is hanging in there. And the new Castlevania.
Hopefully, we get another Captain Laserhawk. But at this point, I’m not even sure the Stranger Things series is safe, even with its pedigree.

One day… one day it will get adapted… and then my soul will know peace.
Dead End: Paranormal Park for me.
Edit: Missed that it was already mentioned.

My musician pageI'm torn between contribution to the cancelled Animated Netflix shows. Because in some way I understand some of the business mind of Netflix but they haven't shown reason for a while so...
Justice for Centaur World
Plus I understand the creator is directing a movie right now. Bad Fairies.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Adam Sandler’s Leo is doing shockingly well at 81% on Rotten Tomatoes!

You know, between this and Scott Pilgrim, I’m hoping this helps Netflix keep sight of how valuable animated projects can be.
Oh god I have never been so thankful for Adam Sandler. This shows that Netflix can do quality animation even without Del Toro. I just hope this translates to views and new subscriptions because that's the ONLY thing that matters to netflix.
As long as this flower is in my heart. My Strength will flow without end.I’m honestly still tempted to give it a look. Especially with the audience score.
You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.Watching Leo now. It’s good… but the songs are not my cup of tea. Wish’s songs were better.
Update. I finished it. I was alright. The songs were a bit too much of the stereotypical Broadway that I don’t like. That said, I did enjoy the humor and story arc.

You’re Gonna Carry That Weight.

According to Deadline
, Agent Elvis, Farzar, and Captain Fall have all been cancelled after their first seasons.
In adult animation, Netflix is going through a transition period. The department’s new leadership, set late last year when Billy Wee was tapped as Director of Adult Animation, are starting to put their stamp with their development slate as Netflix continues to invest in the genre, which has delivered such hits as Bojack Horseman, Big Mouth, F is for Family, and Disenchantment. Agent Elvis, Farzar and Captain Fall were all developed and greenlighted by the previous adult animation regime.
Captain Fall‘s cancellation comes in the midst of Season 1. The animated series had been picked up for a 20-episode first season to air in two parts. The decision not to proceed comes after Part 1, released in July, failed to draw a large audience.
