The trope came up on Trope Finder where a troper found his example from Tintin did not fit because it was missing a "forbidden" sign. That's because the trope name and image seem to give off the impression that this area has to have some kind of official "Stay Out" declaration attached to it. What we actually want to show is that an area is so dangerous that people fear going there. Except the hero of course. Suggesting this panel combo from the example above. Other suggestions?

I'm down with the OP pending other options.
I don't have any real objections, but the text-heaviness and lack of any tangible depiction of the zone leaves me feeling a little dissatisfied.
It is a bit text-heavy, to be sure, but everything else that's going on offsets that for me.
There are panels showing the zone but we have space issues here.

I prefer this take.
It does seem to work better.
9 is way better. My vote for that.
Eh. 9's kind of weak in the showing department.
I could go either way.
9 doesn't seem to get the trope across as well as the OP.
Clock is set.
The clock's up and there's more consensus for the OP than 9, so the OP's in and tagged. Locking up.
