DefRevenge24601 Strongest In History from Beyond The Void (Experienced, Not Yet Jaded) Relationship Status: [TOP SECRET]
Strongest In History
#1: Nov 7th 2018 at 6:50:15 PM

An elderly woman stands in front of a group of children. Not too young, not too terribly old, old enough to be competent but not old enough to truly make their impact on the world.

"Hello, children. It seems like you're lost. Come with me, let's get a cup of tea."

The backdrop seems to be caught in an eternal dawn, oranges and pinks washing over the sky as clouds of smoke rise from factories in the background. The buildings are mostly 2 or 3 stories high, a mix of industrial, residential, and retail all in one.

"You're in Daybreak Center. There's a lot to take in, so come on."

Children Of The Key is an... odd idea of mine, which is all based on one question: "What if you took Kingdom Hearts, but made it BIGGER?" Then I saw a JCA crossover page, thought about Jade in Kingdom Hearts, and well, here we are.

This is indeed a multicrossover, taking place in a hypothetical Kingdom Hearts world, filled with Disney and Square characters, but with one twist; Your main characters (and some side characters) are decidedly NOT from Disney or Square, and the frequency of these increases as you move away from the "Core", made up of Daybreak Center, Disney Castle/Timeless River, and The World Of The Key, a nebulous space said to house the origin of the Keyblades.

"BUT DEF, WHO CAN WE BE?"

Well, my intent going into this as that you play as children and teens from various media decidedly NOT from Disney works, as well as Final Fantasy and The World Ends With You. Beyond that, anything's good. Jade? Sure! Kris? Why not?

My recommended cutoffs are 7-16, but if you can provide good reasoning, I'll accept certain more infantile characters, later teens, and maybe a Really 700 Years Old character or two.

On to the sheets!

  • Name: Who is you?
  • Age: Remember the cutoffs. A post-canon ageup is fine and dandy, but don't go over.
  • Gender: Insert Prof. Oak joke here.
  • Universe: Won't affect the gameplay or anything, but put your character's home universe down here.
  • Weapons: Okay, so this is where this gets weird. Keyblades are now not the only form of weapon that can permanently off a Heartless; If a Weapon is imbued by a Key Spirit, it can perform the two main functions of a Keyblade: Unlock Keyholes and release Heartless. So, if you want to give your character a Keyblade, sure! If you want to give your character's weapon a Key Spirit, go for it! If you want to use Martial Arts, Bending, or a Stand/Persona, and want to imbue THAT with a Key Spirit, go for it!
  • Abilities: What can you do that makes you unique? Make it as mundane as you want, I won't judge!
  • Personality: Noting huge, just a few words about how your character interacts with the world, so to speak.
  • Beckoning: This is not a normal Bio thing, don't worry. But each character wasn't pulled for craps and laughs, there's something special that this world saw in you, deciding to shanghai you into the fight against the Heartless and Nobodies. So what special trait makes you valuable?

Ah. I hope you all like it!

Forgive me if you're opposed to a double sign up, but I have to try.

  • Name: Chito
  • Age: I'd guess 13-14.
  • Gender: Girl
  • Appearance: The one on the left. A young Asian girl who is pretty scrawny and thin. Looks better off dirt and wear wise than you'd might imagine, but she's still obviously someone who's lived a rough life.
  • Universe: Girls' Last Tour
  • Weapon: Obscure Intelligence, a keyblade. Looks boxy and metallic.
  • Abilities:
    • Survivalist: Skilled at making a lot out of a little when she needs to.
    • Technical Potato: Knows some simple mechanics and can repair things if needed, given time.
    • Can Read and Write: Can read and write.
  • Personality: Inquisitive, reserved, pessimistic, cold. Honestly kind of rude when people are stupid in front of her, and she can get physical when meting out re-education, but at least she's quick enough to forgive. Loves to find and record any knowledge she can.
  • Beckoning: Perseverance in the face of despair and hopelessness. She struggles to survive, let alone thrive in a world where she possibly represents about half of the human population, but she manages to do so despite being very outclassed. She fights hopelessness, instead of accepting her fate.

  • Name: Yuuri
  • Age: A couple of years older than Chito.
  • Gender: Girl
  • Appearance: The one on the right. Looks more European. Noticeably less malnourished than her friend, but just about as tarnished.
  • Universe: Girls' Last Tour
  • Weapon: Arisaka Type ∞, a keyblade. Looks rustic with its wooden parts and old gunmetal.
  • Abilities:
    • Survivalist: Skilled at making a lot out of a little when she needs to. Tends to eat more, though.
    • Strong Potato: She's honestly kind of strong for a young girl who has been living almost entirely off of scant military rations for her entire life. Can do some heavy lifting if need be.
    • Can't Read or Write: Can't read or write.
  • Personality: Unconcerned, exuberant, optimistic, warm. She's honestly kind of dumb, but can end up with a kind of simple wisdom regardless. Loves to eat.
  • Beckoning: Perhaps it's similar and the opposite of Chito's at the same time, but Yuuri is also called upon for her braveness in the face of despair. Not perseverance, but acceptance and coping - "getting along with hopelessness", as she calls it. Where Chito has to tough out the melancholia and struggles of her home, Yuuri almost seems completely oblivious to the dreary nature of it. She isn't, she's cognizant that there could be a better life if fate allowed for it, but she treats every day as if it can be good anyway. She gets along with hopelessness, instead of opposing it.

Would like to sign up as this one character, though I'm afraid this means spoiling the show as a whole. To those that care about it, I recommend skip reading my sign-up until you watched the first episode/chapter of School Live! Would also hide spoilers in my sign up of major things that happened in the middle of the series, just in case.

And so, without further ado!

  • Name: Ebisuzawa Kurumi
  • Age: Somewhere around 15, maybe? (a.k.a. typical High School age)
  • Gender: Female
  • Appearance: The purple-haired girl with the shovel.
  • Universe: School Live!
  • Weapons: Her trusty shovel that she uses time and again to fend off countless zombies from her friends. Now imbued with a Key spirit, she can protect others from the Heartless too! Can also dig.
  • Abilities:
    • Shovel-Fu!: Is very, very good at killing walking dead things with her shovel. This in turn makes her decent at melee combat against other things.
    • Sprinter: Was in the Track and Field Club before everything went to hell. Possess great stamina and running speed, which she uses to outrun zombies and the go-to girl for patrols/watchman/zombie cleanup/etc.
    • Zombification: For all intents and purposes, she is biologically dead. This means she does not require pesky sustenance like food and water, her physical abilities are enhanced and the general inability to no longer feel pain. And who says being a zombie is bad! Side effects include: Unstable mental health, slight appetite towards human flesh, terrible nightmares, etc.
  • Beckoning: Loyalty and her protective nature towards those close to her. Even if the whole world and everything in it is against her, she can and will protect those whom she deem as her friends, whether it be from outside or from herself.
