Well, the stinger got cut off, so Tyrian Watts gave him an artificial stinger. However, the spine of it covers his entire tail, probably to ensure its flexibility and flow of venom.
Given that the outfit is Blake's Nightmare Side, I'm a bit hazy as to whether it's technically hers or whether it's another aspect of the Nightmare's dream influence. They're in a Grimm-induced nightmare, of course she'll end up having to adopt elements of her Psycho Ex-Boyfriend. It's adapting her own nightmares to the setting.
Edit:
You're right. I do.

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading.Adam does have an SDC brand on his face so to some extent his life growing up was probably difficult. He just turned into a monster that would airdrop grim onto a school or plot to blow an Academy up.
He also became an obsessive stalker of his Ex.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - Dorthy
Which is all glossed over within the show and the closest thing to an origin of the brand is Miles' headcanon. And even there it's treated in an ambiguous way of Adam always being an asshole. The writers are rather open for their disdain of the character.
@Snoketrope
And yet, Arthur was given the Cinder roast moment and is treated as less evil than Tyrian or Adam. And it would still fit with the depiction of male villains being less sympathetic than female villains.

He got a moment where he was cool....Okay?
And, in what way is Arthur presented as less evil? Less sadistic or gross maybe but like....again tries to freeze thousands of people to death and then murders a control station and tries to Nuke a city.
And while Salem and Cinder have tragic qualities....they still are like, very horrible and that is not downplayed in any way.
Adam having been a slave is not a HC, just the specifics of what he got branded for was.

Tyrian was straight up stated to be pure evil and irredeemable while Adam is treated as a Hate Sink. It's very clear that the two are treated as more evil than the other villains who all got at least small moments that showed something of a semblance of a conscious or in Cinder's case a tragic backstory. You already answered it. Arthur is presented as less sadistic.
And it's clear with the way the story is presented that Salem has to be redeemed one way or another, and that she's played up as much more tragic than Adam and again as way more sympathetic, even though their behavior and backstories are very similar. How the writers themselves treat the characters shows that too.

I highly doubt I need to do anything. The show is doing plenty enough on its own. Unfortunate Implications, Didn't Think This Through and Misaimed Fandom have become something of the show's bread and butter for a reason.

I mean I am pretty certain I would probably be a jerk also if I had a constant reminder of the SDC on my face and potentially screwing with one of my eyes. I wouldn't be a crazy stalker but I would definitely be a sarcastic angry jerk if I was in his position.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyWatts is more evil than tyran based on scale indeed(specially because watts dosent give a damn), but Tyrian is presented as more openly evil and sadistic, at least Watts can calm down and tell cinder what it is while Tyrian cant do it without sounding like a creepy fuck.
And with Adam, the issue is how the faunus who suffer the worst fate(being brand in the face) by a company like cattle(you know....bull faunus) is the one with the worst actituded and who the narrative pretty much show less sympathy. That is....well.....

I think people misunderstood the purpose of his speech to Cinder. He was Roasting Cinder because she wasted a perfectly suitable plan to get even with a child.
Plus like others mentioned before he was going to freeze over Mantle and was perfectly fine using the bomb he had available to him. Not to mention the added order for penny to self-terminate when she reached the vault probably to spite her creator.

"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyYeah people tend to act like Watts was pulling some Freudian Excuse Is No Excuse when his speech....Does not even touch on that, he did not give a crap about Cinder being a terrible person just that she is not skilled enough at it. He proceeds to help her murder Central command and then nuke a city.
But also...yeah he is less sadistic then Tyrian, so what? That just makes them different types of villains, killing thousands for your ego is like...not really better then doing it for fun.
Yes RWBY has had issues with the Faunus stuff before but this really feels like stretching. And hell this is all just taking account the show itself, for the larger franchise there are plenty of human villains who are plain sadistic douchebags like Paul from Roman Holiday or Jax from the Vacuo books.

I will said that depends of what is worst evil in general, detachment or sadism. Which is a YMMV in itself(and a kinda creepy one I guess), I will probably said you can said sadist is worst because no only you die, every single part of your death and sufferings is consume to the enjoyment of the sadist. While Watts in theory could just ether be done right there or even not killing you at all if the mision dosent require it.
But his pettiness balance it out, is hilarious how Watts is really the pettiest of the bunch, rivaling cinder in that regard.
"My Name is Bolt, Bolt Crank and I dont care if you believe or not"They use it with Adam actually, him not caring about casualties in a train? he can range for a noble demon to misguided extremist, him hitting Blake and sputting typical bastard boyfriend cliche? motherfucker deserve to die.
The inverse is also truth as good boi roman show.

You're acting like Tyrian isn't a mass murderer who was complicit in Watt's plans with zero problems and is probably the only character who wants for Salem to end all of humanity. The show treats Adam and Tyrian as the most evil characters be it on a personal or a scope level.
Edited by bandersnitch on Aug 31st 2022 at 11:41:50 AM
Who is speaking about lack of control?
I'm talking about goals here. Tyrian's goal is death and mass genocide. Again, he is the only character who wants that Salem destroys the world and kills all of humanity. It's killing for the sake of killing. No, other character wants to that far besides Salem, who was given a sympathetic backstory to explain her reasons and probably has to be redeemed to end her immortality. The closest thing would be Adam who wants the subjugation or even eradication of all humans under faunus supremacy.
Watts's goal by contrast is simply revenge on Ironwood. It's not a great motive and rather shallow, but here Watts doesn't desire to kill humans to be happy. It's simply a side effect of his goal. Of course, Watts doesn't care since he's extremely self-centered. But it's still on a much lower scale than Tyrian or Adam, and it's not the actual goal itself. This is not about Watts being a great human being because he really isn't and the complexity of his character is rather shallow. But rather, for as bad Watts is, Tyrian and Adam are portrayed as worse. And as said before, the female villains unlike the male ones all got symphathetic backstories.
Watts actual goal, helping conquer the world to rule it with the rest of Salem's faction, was likely going to kill lots of people too.
While you can make the case for Tyrian I do not really see any for Adam, both he and Watts were egotistical sociopaths desiring to be on top of the world and would kill lots of people for it, but Adam was a former child slave while Arthur was an Atlas Elite who's project did not get picked. And that is in addition to Watts trying to destroy a city in 2 horrible ways and being the man who caused Salem's invasion of Atlas, which caused loads of death.
I am not saying Tyrian is not evil and one of the worst but your trying to make this weird racism thing that is not there. Most Faunus on the show are sympathetic characters and there are human villains who are about as bad as him.
And on female villains, I do not recall the Madame and her A-Hole daughters tragic backstories, and male villains get that too? Like Mercury and Hazel? Both of whom are also less evil then Cinder and Salem. And while Cinder's backstory gets far more weight on who she is now, Adam's backstory still exists.
Bow to the PrototypeTyrian's motivations and character are so far removed from his Faunus heritage that it's hard to say that the writers did a massive blunder with him (waiting for the "revelation" that most of his victims before meeting Salem were old Mistral families which had benefited greatly from Faunus slavery and were enjoying the wealth it had brought them). At worst, I would say that it's a tad evident that they wanted a bad guy with two superpowers and just went the easy way for one of those and decided that it would be part of his Faunus physiology. Is Tyrian the first Faunus in the series whose animal trait is a legitimate superpower ? I can't quite remember.

Plus you know Tyrian. Whose a psycho serial killer only helping his boss because she gives him an opportunity to end the planet....Huh Tyrian is a Faunus? Never knew that?
