Thanks. I'll try that tip and see if it works. Given that it's the same gods-damned engine that the game you're using runs on it should do, however.
At this rate, I'm going to pass on the next proper Fallout and Elder Scrolls games.
Bethesda breaking SKSE/FOSE with every update is basically their way of saying “loophole!” with their “we want to keep mods an open experience” horseshit. Sure, they ain’t banning SKSE/FOSE, but when every minuscule update to their store breaks them they don’t have to, do they?
Good call, considering that they will most likely be filled with paid mods and microtransactions.
Gave the new patch a try, updated SKSE 64 and had to update Race Menu as well.
And none of my saves now work, and as a further bonus, I can't start a new game with the mods I have installed either.
Howard, Hines, pray I never meet you or I'm going to slap you on the face with a side of salmon and knock you into the nearest canal, you absolute swine. Even if it is the Panama one!
Like this guy:
I do loves me a modded game. Oblivion wasn't the same without OOO... and scythes. SCTHYES ALL OVER THE PLACE.
Not quite down for the anime characters though.
After I'm done with Fallout I was going to finish Dawnguard - any mods that impact that or Dragonborn that you'd recommend?
For Dawnguard, I'd recommend "Marriable Serana" - it's on the Nexus somewhere. That is, I would recommend it if using mods for the next week or so wasn't playing Russian roulette with all six chambers loaded with .44 Magnum rounds, thanks to Race Menu, SKSE and FNIS not playing well with each other thanks to the glorious new update. Dragonborn I didn't like much as I was way too underleveled for the DLC when I played it last. I only got through it with the "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life" mod to be honest.
For pure giggles I love this mod:
Real Flying. It works quite well. Probably better if you want to go full Batman to get a costume mod as well, but it makes the game much more interesting.

New update. Been busy today. I killed Alduin, explored most of Blackreach and got thirty Crimson Nirnroots, completing Sinderion's life's work. I'm not going to bother with the Civil War questline this playthrough - I just can't bring myself to cope with the tedium of harvesting every single Stormcloak camp repeatedly when there's always some officer marked "Essential" so I can't eliminate them sine die.
It me that I'd probably be better off reinstalling the game completely, renewing my mods and stuff - all things I wouldn't have to do if Bethesda hadn't screwed around with the game again in order to hawk more crap in their Paid Mods Club.
